Description of Work: When I hired JK Flooring I made it very clear that I wanted a perfect job on our bathroom remodel tiling and would except nothing less. Without a doubt that is what they delivered. John sent Joe and Dan to do the job. They showed up on time for 2 weeks straight and worked until 6:00 every day. They explained everything they were doing and accommodated several requests. I was so please with their work and professionalism I have hired JK Flooring to install our hardwood flooring.

Description of Work: Removed all existing 6 x 6 tiles with a jackhammer. Protected the entry area to roooms that were not involved in the renovation with visqueen plastic. Installed 16 x 16 porcelain tile with a rectified edge(and 1/4" grout line) on the diagonal throughout kitchen, great room, hallways and 3 bathrooms. Very well-trained hungarian craftsmen matched the veining in the tile and installed it over an unevenly poured, preexisting slab. Marvelous results with absolutely flat flooring installed without height difference or "toekicks". Also installed brazillian oak engineered hardwood floors in formal areas and office. Carefully checked moisture level in the slab before agreeing to do the install. We had some preexisting damage to some tile in our master bath.The home was 25 years old at the time of the renovation so we could not locate any replacement tile. This wonderful team was able to "borrow" some tile from the entry step to our walk-in shower by replacing the tiles with a marble trim piece and then using the salvaged tile to repair the damaged area!! Saved a whole lot of money there!

+ 1 moreWe liked John Fillippidis from the moment we met him. He had just finished installing some tile at a home nearby. He had also done a showroom for a tile company in the area. He gave us an accurate estimate at a fair price. He was not the highest priced estimate, nor the lowest. We were impressed with his honesty & the quality of his work. My husband and I are very particular. We knew enough about laying tile to know that installing large, rectified edge tiles onto our 25-year-old, unlevel concrete slab would not be easy. The work turned out perfectly,with not one tile higher or lower than the one next to it (aka: toe-kicks). The grout line is only 1/8", and the tile was installed diagonally. The team that works for John are friendly, arrived each morning on time and cleaned up after themselves each night. One night,they even fed the cats for us! John perfectly repaired a (pre-existing) 5-inch hole in the mosaic tile in our bathroom with pieces he rescued from demolition of the floors!
Description of Work: Removed old tile/leveled the concrete slab/installed new 20X20 porcelain tile with rectified edge. Also, installed new wood floors where there had been tile and carpeting before.

+ -1 moreThis company did an outstanding job on the work that needed to be done. All the damage was corrected and the new tile was installed beautifully. There were a lot of nice touches that the installers did in designing how the tile went up that make extra special. We are planning to rehire them to do our kitchen floor tile over and an entry way in the future. Their work is excellent!!!! It went very well. They had the tile and rotten wood torn out in a day. They then replaced the wood with cement board and rebuilt part of the shower stall. They then installed all the tile in the last 3 days. They cleaned up everyday and did not leave a mess when the job was all done.
Description of Work: Job 1:We found a severe water leak that had created a lot of wall damage in the Master Bedroom Shower/Tub area. His team came in and replaced all the damaged walls with cement board, rebuilt some walls that were totally destroyed by the water. The also took out the bathroom floor that was tiled but a very bad job was done on it. They installed all new tile on the floor, around the garden tub and re-built and tiled the shower stall. Job 2:We had a mold problem in our Master Bathroom. They replaced the shower stall completely - new cement board and all new tile. They also replaced all the rotten boards around the garden tub with cement board. They tiled the entire shower, tub area and floor. The craftmanship was excellent. The job was done in 5 days and it looks beautiful!
