It was repaired and patched professionally and he also patched other little cracks while he was here. We were so impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew.

Description of Work: Installed gutters in an area in the back of the house where no gutters were previously installed. Very professional job. Quick. Efficient. Very pleasant crew of two young men. Will use this company again with no hesitation.

Description of Work: We had gutters and downspouts installed on a 2600 square foot home. I bought one of the deals and had to pay a little extra for the extra material that was needed to complete my requested job with the amount of extra downspouts I needed. The owner came out and measured and then about a week later the workers came to do the job. I did not need to be home while the work was done, but I opted to be there. They matched the color of the walls for the downspouts and the color of the actual gutters to match the color of the roof line. The workers were professional and proficient. The gutters were custom made on my property with their machine. I'm happy with the results and I would recommend this company.

Description of Work: They need constant monitoring. If they have questions they "guess" and it is wrong. They put my attic access in the wrong place and it is unusable. When I called I got told "That was where it was". In a cookie cutter condo all things are identical. No responsibiliy ever was taken. The owner always blmed someone else. One day the owner's father found an unlocked door that I did not know about (house was still in final stages of being turned over to me) and entered the house without anyone's knowledge or permission. To this date with all the prblems, I now have to pay someone to fix their mistake with my lanai ceiling and put the acess to the attic nack in its original spot.

Description of Work: Selected the Big Deal for residential gutters through Home Res-Q and was contacted via email and phone. The company scheduled an appointment to arrive Thursday 5/28 between 11:00 and 12:00. Received a call a couple hours before the appointment saying they needed to cancel because their estimator was sick. Appointment was rescheduled for Monday same time. Monday I received a call about an hour and a half before they were supposed to arrive saying they had to reschedule once again. Time is money and I can't keep taking off from my business to meet someone for an appointment that doesn't show up. If the company can't show up to look at the job to know what they need to install, I am very concerned that they will not show or cancel several times when it comes to the installation. Additionally, after looking closer at other reviews this company has somewhat of a trend of rescheduling or not showing up.

Description of Work: They informed me of the extra cost to complete the house painting which would be more than the $447.The $447 would only cover the prep work and not the actual painting.

Description of Work: I bought the big deal may 3rd and got an email the next day from the company stating that they needed my phone #, I provided it the next day. I did not receive another email form the company ever. I left several phone messages at a phone# provided on the company site and at an alternate phone # also on the company site but received no response. It has now been 10 days

Description of Work: I have worked with Home Res-Q in 2013 and liked them. However, this time did not go well. I had a few home projects for which I requested Home Res-Q to provide quotes. They came out for the quote very late. I called more than once after they were past due to make sure they were actually coming. Once they arrived, Nick was very energetic as usual and positive about the projects I needed done. He noted that the quote would be a little delayed which wasn't a problem. When I hadn't heard back in two weeks, I called and was told I would receive a call back that day. None came so I emailed the following day. They emailed promptly to let me know "your estimate was a combination including customized pieces, configuring |your estimate and prices is taking a little longer than average." After not hearing from them for another week, I sent another email. At this point, they came up with lots of excuses and then finally sent a quote that DID NOT include an actual estimated total cost for the #1 priority on my list of projects. When I questioned this, they said it would likely cost more than $10,000. $10K to build a loft to put my kids' beds! Seriously! Obviously this has not been a good experience and we did not select them to do the work.

Description of Work: replaced half of my gutters went well very happy with the work called for an estimate on changing out a ceiling fan and was told it would take 3 hours and cost at least 150.00 did not use

Description of Work: I used the groupon for 80 ft of gutter installation. The groupon did not include the downspouts or drains, so there was an additional cost. But the installation crew was prompt, considerate, and knowledgable. We were very pleased.

Description of Work: Technician did not come within the scheduled time and called me if he can come about 1.5-2.5 hrs later but I could not stay home and I asked if he can come the day after. He said he would talk to the office and nobody contacted me. I called the office the next day and they said they would contact technician. Again, nobody contacted me afterwards. Two days after the original schedule day, I called the office again and the earlist they can reschedule me is 2 weeks after, that is not in the same window of 6pm-7pm because they do not work after 5pm anymore. I asked I talked to the boss and after talking to him for 5-10 minutes, he reluctantly managed to schedule me a week after the original date at 5pm (which is the latest time they can schedule according to their new policy). They don't come within the scheduled time so make sure you don't have any plan at least 3-4 hours afterwards otherwise you are going to be rescheduled 2 weeks out.

Description of Work: They were great a did a very nice and professional job. We asked them about a small portion that needed to be done and they added it to the price and it was quite reasonable. We will definitely use them again in the future when we need work done. Thanks, J. Rose
