He was able to come out first thing the morning after I called. He was prompt and seemed to know what the problem was right away. He replaced the timer in the freezer and told me it would take 24 hours to come to the right temperature. After replacing the old timer with the new one, he decided to open up the casing for the old timer and broke the plastic piece that holds it together, making it unusable. When the freezer did not freeze after 24 hours, I called him back and asked him to come back out. He told me that if the freezer froze the cup of water that I had in there (which it did, the temp was hovering between 32 and 35 degrees), that it worked fine. Water freezes at 32 degrees, a freezer should reach between 0 and 10 degrees. He told me that if he found nothing wrong, that he would be charging me a service fee for coming out again. I told him that the replacement timer was not the problem and that the old one couldn't even be put back in because he broke it and that i was already out the $95 for the first repair and that I felt that paying a service fee was unfair. He was very rude and belittling on the phone, but agreed to come out the next morning. Then he called back 10 minutes later yelling at me that he didn't want to deal with this anymore and that I had to find another repair person and told me he was going to tear up my check for the first repair. He was extremely rude and belittling to me and I will never hire him again.
