Description of Work: They cancelled our first appointment and rescheduled me with a different designer. 30 minutes after their rescheduled appt time I called the office and was told the designer was on the way and they would call me if he wouldn't be there soon. Waited around and he was a no show. Very unprofessional.

+ 2 moreJerry is not only handsome but smart and a great person to work with! Chris was a very skilled carpenter who gave attention to every detail. When they were done, I still had a few questions and they promptly came out the next morning to make some small adjustments. Their work is superior to any installer I have ever employed. They aimed to satisfy the customer and I highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of service. They custom make the cabinets in their own facility. No other closet company could come close to their skilled work, quality of material, design ability or the price! I am so thrilled with the look and functionality of this closet. I requested a desk with a hanging dispenser for wrapping paper which I have always wanted. I have 6 grown children and 6 grandchildren, so I do a lot of gift wrapping!! They designed my closet around this idea?and I love it! They cleaned up everything to perfection and the Master Bedroom Closet is sparkling clean and I will finally get organized. Thank you Jerry, Chris and Isaiah for giving it your all! I will be calling you to give me a new Kitchen Pantry next! Nobody else will do a job as good as this, you must give them a call!
Description of Work: Jerry, the owner, designed the perfect custom closet for my Master Bedroom Walk in Closet. I had 3 other National Companies out to my home to measure and give me quotes but they could not customize some very important items I needed. I also contacted closet companies who do "online" quotes and drew them my closet space, but they came back with very limited designs. These other companies did not even get back to me and I missed a sale promotion and they didn't seem to care. There were too many limitations on the depth of the shelves, etc. I was so glad to have found Custom Closets on the internet and read the Website and called them and Jerry, the Owner, answered the phone. He told me he "Could design anything I wanted." I was hopeful and when he came to the house, measured and gave me ideas, I knew he could do anything I could imagine! He changed things for me as I discussed designing options with him. He designed the perfect closet with a beautiful desk, 9 hanging clothes areas, cabinets and drawers. This was an odd shaped closet and a small walk in, so it was a challenge for anyone. Jerry, Chris and Isaiah were professional, on time, courteous and very knowledgable. I paid in full when the job was done to my satisfaction as agreed.

+ -1 moreIt was a pleasure dealing with Coastal Closet in particular Chris Berry. We wanted to put a murphy bed in a spare bedroom. Chris was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. I had interviewed two other companies and went with Coastal because I felt more comfortable that they would/could do the job timely and well and used better materials than the others. Chris was always responsive with any questions I had even after the order was placed and kept us informed as to when the materials were in and when installation would be. I was hoping it could be done before some family was coming to visit the end of October. We knew our timing was short in order to get the materials and build and install the murphy bed before our visitors arrived. But all was done in time!! My guests enjoyed the bed and it is one of the best things we ever did!! Chris is a stickler for detail and makes sure all is done right. We would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

+ 0 moreWe were happy from the very first phone call. Chris was amazing. He came over that day and saw the closets we had (one of which was a closet located under a staircase.) He created an idea for both closets which met our needs and maximized closet space. The price was much less than other stores we looked at (Including IKEA.) They came the following week and installation was only a couple hours. We are very happy with the results!

Gave us a good evaluation and estimate we just went in another direction. Very thorough. We still may end up doing that project just not right now.

+ 0 moreI contacted this company through Angie's List initially for an estimate. I like to use local businesses... they travel to several counties across west and central FL. Chris worked with me diligently through email to come up with closet systems that work for my family. They cost more than others but it is worth it. The ugly old wire shelving is gone and now we have beautiful closets that are adjustable. Lifetime guarantee! No down payment/deposit required. Chris and Isaiah arrived promptly at 8am and got immediately to work. The removed the old shelving, patched the holes and put up the melamine furniture-grade wood exactly to the agreed upon specifications. Isaiah sanded down some rough edges so my kids wouldn't get scratched. They are very friendly. My husband was so impressed that he had Chris measure the office closet for future work. Thank you Chris and Isaiah for a crisis-free installation.

They built a custom system for our particular space, wants and needs. They cleaned up after themselves every day and made the whole process as smooth as possible. We love our Coastal Closet systems!! They are the company for me. I think that customers out there looking for this type of work should definately check them out. Description of Work: I had this company install organizational systems in our home a few times during 2012. First, we had a Murphy bed installed, which is great. I only have a 3 bedroom home so it is important to use the space wisely. With our bedroom and an office, I did not have much room anything else. I wanted my craft/sewing room but yet I need a spare bedroom for when company comes. Well..... Coastal Closet designed a great space for us. I still have my craft/sewing room as well as having a guest room when I need it. The Murphy Bed which was installed is a blessing in disguise. It just folds away and is really convenient! Second, I had my Master Closet done. What a wonderful job they did. I'll tell you what.......There is nothing like having your closet done professionally ...the amount of space I gained is unbelievable. I have one long hang for pants and dresses, with 2 short hangs for skirts and tops. They even gave me a medium hang for dresses. I also have a shoe cubbie which holds 60 pairs of shoes. As if that isn't enough.....I have shelves and drawers to boot....Third we had my husbands closet done (Reach In Closet) and the Pantry as well. My husband has 1 long hang for pants and 2 short hangs for shirts and shorts, etc. He too has shelves and drawers. Jerry, Chris and Isaiah have done beautiful work. They are very professional, reasonably priced and do BEAUTIFUL WORKMANSHIP. If you are looking to have an organizational systems installed in some space in your home....this is the company to hire. They manufacture much of their products which I believe make their prices very competitive and they take extreme pride in their workmanship. I am not done. I still have another closet in the third bedroom I want done along with having a professional office added. They have spoiled me with all of their great ideas.

+ 0 moreChris is a straight shooter, an honest man who loves what he does and works with you to make sure that you get a closet you can afford that meets your needs. He doesn't try to sell you or upcharge you for things you don't need, and he will work on the job until it is correct. The company owner's son came with Chris for our installation, and he was equally as professional and respectful in our home. We had two closets installed in two bedrooms of our 1925 home (in which there were previously two wooden, sagging, and broken rods) to help us truly maximize our space. They are prompt, even ahead of schedule, they call when they say they will, arrive when they say they will, and keep a professional and very friendly demeanor throughout the project. We will absolutely be using this company again when we further renovate other rooms in our home.
Description of Work: We couldn't be happier with our choice to work with Chris from Coastal Closets. He was the third company we asked to come give us a quote, and he beat his competitors out easily. But money isn't everything. We needed to know that the quality would be what we wanted and expected, and that we felt comfortable with him and his team in our home. Even our dog, who isn't fond of contractors, eventually warmed up to Chris!
