Description of Work: They completely ripped me off. I was quoted, said he'd be there at 9 and at 11:30 he finally called me saying he was there. Before he had even begun to work on the copper, he was asking about my water softener and worked around to trying to sell me one. I had a drip going on with my copper that he estimated would cost 125. He said that he'd replace the entire copper for 450 and I went with it. I arrived back home to meet him while he was working on it. When he left, I had issues with my water softener. He had tried to sell me a water softener stating, "I didn't have one." I did. There is leftover grout on the side of my house and I'm fairly certain he poured grout into my water softener. He tried telling me the water softener wasn't hooked up properly. He was trying to confuse me by stating and restating different issues. He then up-charged me to 509, after I tried paying him the original 450. I called him last night because my water was turned off and wanted him to come by. He then said it was my "water softener" and was going to charge me another 550. He was earlier than he said and seemed extremely shady. I got another plumber to come out today and gave me an estimate of 125, showing me that Clogs had put grout into my pipes.

Description of Work: Very expensive- should have asked him how much to replace part of the guts in my tolet but I didnt - still had trouble with it a month later and this time I called him because I thought it was part of what he worked on and he wanted $ 100.00 more $ to fix it after spending $230.00 the 1st time--My husband replaced the part for $ 4.95 from Lowes- Would not recomend this out fit to anyone!

+ -1 moreI found them on "The Flyer" and picked them because of the free estimate. I tell him I'm only looking for quotes. He gets here and tells me that he has this special camera that most plumbers don't have but it will tell him real fast what is going on down there. It's really expensive equipment. So he proceeds to use it and tell me all the things that are wrong. My options are spending $1100 to fix them all or $600 to fix the immediate problem. So I thank him for his time and remind him I only called him out for quote and he was the first person that came out and I had a second company coming out. THEN he tells me, well just for using my camera, he has to charge me $350. I pointed out that he did not tell me he was going to charge me to use his camera. At the time that he realized he needed the camera to find out what the problem was, he should have told me and I could have made a decision. Long story short, after some going back and forth, I paid him to fix the immeidate issue because I was afraid another plumber would come out and do the same thing to me. But now I know to tell anyone that comes out to give me estimates to tell me if and when I'll incur an expense for an "estimate". + -1 moreI am actually trying to have the work redone because I was told the work was not complete. After they did the work I was still having back-up issues three days later in the home. The shower is over flowing, the toliet is over flowing, and all of this has caused addition damage and cost to the house.
Description of Work: I hired Cloggs R Us to do a hydro rotor scrub. They also did a camera viewing of the whole sewer line.
