GREAT! Chris is a real professional. Arrived as planned to evaluate project (redo existing landscaping in front/side of house & address drainage issue), followed up very quickly with recommendations and pricing. Very agreeable to needing to break the project out in to 2 phases because of cost. Scheduled work within a week, arrived when expected, completed work within a timely manner, cleaned up area, was very good about explaining how to maintain plants, what to expect for growth timeframe.

Chris provided an estimate for approximately 50' of landscaping block that was one layer for 40' and 2-3 layers where the yard sloped away including steps for coming out the gate. He would remove the old bushes and install a 7' Choctaw Crepe Myrtle for shade on the sliding glass doors for $950. He estimated $70 to repair the sprinkler zone if it was straight forward and $35/ hr for something more complicated like running a new line. I accepted the estimate and he and a helper arrived on schedule and completed the work in two days. They were professional and informative and cleaned up each day. Great experience.

Although I called and set up the appointment, Chris worked with my 87 year old Mom to determine what needed to be done at my Mother's home.. My Mom had received another quote from a different landscaper and Chris beat that company's price by almost $3,000. He also saved her over $1,000 by pointing out there was a portion of the current lawn that did not need to be replaced. My Mom really liked Chris and felt he treated her fairly and did not try to take advantage of her age or lack of knowledge regarding Florida grass. Mom also hired Chris to provide quarterly services to treat the new sod. Since the work has been completed, Chris has called a few times to tell us to either turn on or off the water. He also took the time to explain that Mom's water bill was going to be high but if we would attach a copy of his bill when Mom pays the water bill, the water company will give her a credit. AWESOME SERVICE!!!! Would recommend CJ Landscaping to all that are interested in their service.

Chris arrived when scheduled for the estimate, gave me what I thought was a reasonable price for the removal of all my dead shrubs (thanks to the HOA for re-doing our sprinkler system - my shrubs no long got enough water), purchase and install replacement shrubs (a hardier variety). Chris said with his schedule he could get my job done within approx. 10-14 days. I was in no hurry. 3 days later, Chris called, came over and completed the job within a few hours. My wife came home a couple hours later and was thoroughly please with the selection and installation. Beautiful, tasteful, professional and completely satisfied. I would use Chris again in a heartbeat. I've recommended him to neighbors already.

Would not hesitate to ever use Chris or recommend him. It was a great job.

I contacted CJ's Landscaping via Angie's List and they responded within an hour, on a weekend. They were able to come out the following Monday to inspect the property and provide us with an estimate. We traded a few e-mails about the scope of work and settled on a scope and price. CJ's was on site the next morning and completed all of their work within a few hours. They did an excellent job cleaning up a lot of dead areas in our landscaping and made it look fresh and new. The guys did a wonderful job and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

Chris came out quickly after I called and worked with an existing landscape design we had drawn last year. He was able to modify the design and cut our cost substantially working with some of the materials we already had as opposed to starting from scratch. He also suggested plant alternatives that could survive the frost. He and his crew changed our center island which included removing old log type edging, grading, moving a large boulder, and installing new plants and trees. They also reworked the other plant beds so that they look a lot cleaner. He also referred us to tree service that cleaned up three trees in our front yard and ground down four stumps in the back and they also did a great job. It only took three days from start to finish. We are extremely pleased with the work and will use them again.

Chris was very nice and personable. He knew I wanted low maintenance plants and flowers that still looked nice and that is what he gave me. He always returned my calls and emails. And he was on time and did what he said he was going to do. I would use him again in the future.

I called CJ's Landscaping years ago (3 or 4 years ago) to put a new lawn and landscaping on my Aunt's house. They did a great job, and they have been mowing and spraying the lawn ever since. When I moved in to the house next door to my Aunt (about 2 years ago), I called CJ's to install a new lawn and all new landscaping. They did a great job and have been mowing and spraying, etc ever since. Chris also had my landscaping lights done, and they turned out very well. He also had a tree service (Sieber of Hudson, FL) come and take down some really tall trees and grind the stumps. They did a great job. The property looks as fresh as it did 30 years ago when my parents built the house. I had a separate company dig a deep well because I was not satisfied with a points well that was on the property. I do not recommend point wells (shallow wells) in this neighborhood. They work fine for a while, then they just dry up unexpectedly. (If you need a DEEP well with a steel casing in this area, I recommend Gil Perry Well Drilling.) Now that all this work is done, everything looks great.

Chris and his subcontractors and crew finished the front yard first, and then took on the riverfront, a much larger area. All the people he used to work at my home were very personable, and I was comfortable with all of them. I will continue to use the subcontractors as needed in the future. The communications were good both verbally and via email so I was kept informed about any issues that were going on. Chris and his crew also had to deal with city codes and utilities because of right of way concerns, and water needed to be run to the riverfront. All this was handled diplomatically and according to the city's requirements for property owners. The final result was the project ran smoothly and was finished according to our initial conception. The enhancement to my property and to the neighborhood has been significant - this is evident not just by my enjoyment of the beautiful result, but by the remarks of neighbors and strangers, and the number of people who slow down to look at what was done. I cannot wait until the landscaping matures and I am sure that will just increase the beauty. I have retained Chris to continue in maintenance as I trust him to keep the lovely beginnings of my landscaping project.

He did an amazing job. Every night, when I see the results, I am still in awe of how great everything looks.

After having a flood due to lots of rain, Chris came out to help us figure out what we needed to keep water out of our yard (and out of our house). He installed a large submersible pump on one side of our house and fixed drainage problems on the other. In addition, over the past two years, Chris( who is the owner of CJ's Landscaping) has installed sod and landscaping in the front yard. He always does a great job and our yard looks wonderful! His prices are reasonable, and he is honest and punctual.I highly recommend him for any and all landscaping needs.

Chris has been taking care of my lawn and landscaping for about 2 years now. We have been extremely happy with him and his guys. They're extremely reliable, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. In addition, he is highly accessible. He returns my emails or calls usually the same day. I've used several landscaping and lawn services over the years, and he's the best we've had.

Chris provided an initial design for my approval, he completed the work in a timely manner, and he communicated with me along the way. He was easy to reach via phone and e-mail. He and his staff were professional. He is easy to talk to and answered my questions. Florida is a difficult place for landscaping (long periods of drought, watering restrictions, pests, weeds). Even so, Chris has kept up with the needs of my aunt's yard, and I trust he will do the same with my new yard. I am continuing to use him to maintain my yard and my aunt's yard.

We spent around $3,000 on that work. We were not completely satisfied with the quote he gave us and the landscaping was definitely not satisfactory. We would not use him again because the work was not up to what they promised. One of the biggest problems was that they did not do proper bed preparation. They were supposed to pull up everything and prepare the bed for putting down new plant and mulch, but in a week we had stuff growing up from underneath the mulch from the old landscaping.

I also signed a contract for maintaining my yard.

I was impressed at first when he wanted my business, however he lost it when he could not keep in touch. He also sent me two invoices for October after I had paid him and after I sent a letter canceling service because of my disappointment, I got no response. No apology, or explanation of what had happened.

He was very nice. Very open and easy to talk with. I'm going to hire.

I FOUND THIS COMPANY IN THE YELLOW PAGES. THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND DID A GREAT JOB ON MY YARD. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE MORE THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. I WOULD ASK THEM FOR AN ESTIMATE BEFORE THEY BEGIN WORK NEXT TIME.
