It was slow going at first due to Covid and material shortage but I am very happy with the end results. The workers they sent out, Clinton and George, were knowledgeable, pleasant and wonderful to work with and listened to all of my questions and concerns. I work in the real estate business and would and will gladly refer them.

I first placed a call to Allied Aluminum in late November 2015. Salesman Mike Caroll came out to measure up the work and stated he would send me the proposal. On December 4th, after not hearing or receiving anything, I contacted Mike to ask about the proposal (I'm working on it he said). On December 14th I contacted Mike again because I never received the proposal (I'll email it tomorrow he said). Contract was signed 12/17/15 and they cashed my deposit check of $2166. Salesman Mike Caroll stated it would take 4 weeks to order the materials, and that installation would occur when the materials arrived. In the meantime, I had secured approval from my HOA Board for work to commence. After hearing nothing from Allied for 5 weeks, I called Mike Caroll for an update on Wednesday February 3, 2016. I also called the office and spoke to a woman there who stated that my work was scheduled for that week and that I could expect the crew to be there on Friday, but that someone would call me to confirm. No one ever showed up or called. On Thursday February 11, 2016, I left a message for Mike Caroll explaining that no one ever got back to me. I requested that the owner of the company call me (no one returned my call). On Friday February 19, 2016 Mike Carroll finally called me back and stated that the windows were on backorder and he did not know when they would be in. I asked why they were just finding that out after 2 months (he did not answer). I explained that I had other work scheduled that depended on completion of Allied's work and that I had guests coming and that if the work wasn't completed within the week, I would have to cancel (Mr. Carroll stated well maybe I can push the owner to put pressure on the distributor and see if they could expedite.) I explained that I was extremely unhappy with the lack of responsiveness and deceit about the when the work would be completed, and that it appeared they took and used my deposit money without ever purchasing the materials or keeping me informed. I reiterated that I wanted the order cancelled and my deposit refunded. ....still waiting In my opinion - stay clear of Allied Aluminum - it is a big red flag when a firm takes your money, deceives you about materials and completion, and then avoids you like the plague when you try to find out the status of your contract! I have been in business a long time and this type of behavior typically signifies financial problems or a lack of qualified workers... And lastly - does anyone have a suggestion for an A-rated Aluminum Company that can be trusted to perform this work?
Description of Work: Allied was contracted to replace the lanai vinyl windows with new acrylic sliding windows and external trim and screen door. They were also contracted to install a new sliding garage screen door.

They arrived at 7:45am and began doing their preparation for the installation. Their work was done in a professional manner. They were very clean and the installations was completed without any problems. I was totally satisfied with their price and work ethic.
Description of Work: Two installers from Allied installed three (3) horizontal slide acrylic tinted windows. Removed the existing screens in the two openings and installed two solid laminated panels closing the two openings in the existing laminated wall, and replaced the existing door with a new Falcon 470 door.
