Description of Work: My tenant called me to report a leak in the garage of my split level condo at Portofino West on Campbell in Homestead. I just wanted to call a plumber local to Homestead. I joined Angie's List and then after making several phone calls, the only person that was responsive was this vendor, Milner and, another vendor, actually the first vendor I called who also would have been available the following day had I called them back. The next day Milner came within 60 minutes or so of our 8:30 target and immediately went up stairs where the bathroom was that was corresponded to the still moist and moldy ceiling below in the ground level garage. Then, within a full 5 minute time period, Plumber Milner had assessed the problem as a shower head that was in-operationally dripping a portion of it's water spray down the shower's tiled wall and through the caulking openings down below to that particular part of the ceiling. Milner quickly made a seemingly experienced assessment, explaining the shower head was shot and drippy, and needed to be replaced, and that the replacement would probably solve the problem. I said "do it" and Plumber Milner sent his plumbing assistant to do just that. Milner had just walked and talked his way toward his Plumber Mobile. to begin the invoice process. I said, "say, why don't you have your [plumbing assistant] also caulk where ever there were cracks in the caulk. The assistant came down, having not done the caulking, and said someone made their way into the bathroom and that was that. So no caulking. For the 10 minutes they were there and the $109 I paid for a shower head installation, I just don't know why the caulking wasn't part and parcel of the service. Nevertheless, I would use this plumber again. I think he would have made his assistant do the job if I asked him to do after the person vacates the bathroom. There were only two adults in the house and two bathrooms.

The pressure on my water pump gage was steadily and slowly dropping without using water. I had had a valve replaced by a plumber months before, but the problem had continued. Milner insisted I needed that same valve replaced again. I argued that I had already done that and felt the tank was losing pressure somewhere else along the plumbing line. He insisted and I reluctantly agreed to let him change the part again. Immediately after changing the part it was apparent the pressure was still falling. He was quick to come forward with his invoice book and write me a bill for $135 while I am standing there with the same problem. When I confronted him again that this valve was not the problem he was arrogant and said; "Ma'am I have told you 6 times you needed another valve." I have never been treated so rudely by any private businessman that I have had to my home. I was ripped off while he made a quick buck changing out a valve that took him 10 minutes.
Description of Work: Replaced valve on water pump, this did not fix the problem.
