First, ARLEX IS A THEIF! Before discussing the quality of work, I must say, he stole from me twice. First I spotted my unique and recognizable tool box in the back of his truck. He had taken it out of my garage. He apologized and gave it back saying it was a mistake, but it looked nothing like any of his stuff and was an antique that had been my grandfathers. Then I was away and had left a blank check with my father who went to meet him while I was out of town to settle up at the end of the job. Confused he made the check out for the entire balance not subtracting the down payment Id made at the beginning. Arlex took this in addition to a fat cash tip my generous father gave him, liking Arlex’s seeming good nature. When we realized the mistake I called him and requested the overpayment refunded, and he refused and sent a new doctored invoce to include the overpayment. This is illegal and I notified him in a very clear letter, as well as by phone and email. I gave it the better part of a year and he has refused to make things right. Ive waited to say anything until after the house was sold to avoid any confrontations or violence because I felt i could not trust him at all. Now that i no longer live there I am reviewing and notifying the appropriate agencies of what he did. I had hired Arlex based on A rating on angies list, to paint interior of my house and kitchen cabinets. The quality of the work, in the end was poor. He tried to call it done, and i pointed out spots that were not. He fixed some but not all. He only sprayed the kitchen cabinets with primer and did not use the correct shade of white to match as had been specified. He did not get the paint mixed! In the end I was just glad to get him out of my house and was glad the whole thing was over. Terrible experience - to the point that I feel I must report his unprofessionalism to the licensing agencies. When i get the files together I will upload photos of the poor workmaship.

A+ Superior business. So glad I was referred to Arlex. He and his crew did an amazing job. Additional to the job and professionalism, they left my house very clean afterwards...ready for my movers to arrive. I am very impressed.

Arlex painted our home exterior including the white tile roof and did an excellent job. Still looks great after a few years. He has also painted our interior rooms more than once, including the ceiling. We have referred him to friends and family and strongly recommend his quality service, attention to detail, cleanliness and punctuality.
