Very profesional and a good price - they were also on time, which is a high mark for me

We scheduled an appt for one day and the tech just showed up at the house another day and time without calling. Fortunately I was home and they did a nice job on adjusting the garage door. However they were supposed to return the next day at 11 to complete the other part of my service request. They didn't show up at 11 and called at 5 pm to apologize and say they could come at that time. That was not convenient so I rescheduled for the following day at 11. They never showed up or called to reschedule. While the work performed was good and the gentleman was polite, the fact is they are too unreliable to schedule them for future jobs.

I believe his name was Nelson. His customer service lends you to believe that your best interest is at heart. He took the time to explain what was wrong and provided options for you to select the best alternative. He came across as if he was repairing his own garage door and that gave a level of comfort and honesty to his service. Hire him!

Our home was built in 1967 and the garage door is the original. It is very heavy and "busy". In 2007 the lift spring broke and we called A Family for repairs and they responded immediately and installed a replacement spring (hard to find on this old style door) and replaced our very old Genie with a Liftmaster. Their service and knowledge was impressive. This week 10 years later the memory board (after numerous power outages over the hurricane seasons) would not LEARN so we upgraded to a new Liftmaster. Nelson's family and his business is FIRST CLASS and they even worked around the boat and were done in 1 hour... Thank You A Family Garage Door and DA BOYS!

I would recommend this company to anyone I know who needed garage door repairs. The were on time, reasonable and knowledgeable as to what caused my problem and what was needed to repair it. It was a pleasure dealing with them!

Good customer service in following up to schedule appointment. However, I requested an estimate for repairs which were done without my prior approval and was only contacted when additional repairs/parts were needed to complete the job.

I was trying to help my mother out as so many others had not shown up or even bothered to call to let her know they wouldn't be able to make it.
