Karen responded within about 15 minutes and then called me. She was very helpful and after I provided more details it become clear that my only real option was to try to re dye the sofa completely. This was not something they could do but Karen tried to find me another company and then she messaged me the next day with another recommendation. I will definitely keep them in my favorites for next time. Very professional and prompt service and even though they couldn't provide the service I needed they went above and beyond to try to help. Thank you guys!

the woman I spoke with was very helpful, she asked all important questions, requested that I send her a pic of one of the chairs and she got back to me within a few hours with an estimate for the work + material costs breakdown. I would have used them but we decided not to go ahead with this project.

From start to finish the process was seamless. Karen was so patient with us because we had specific colors in mind. Therefore we would highly recommend Toni's Unique Upholstery. The quality was better than any competitor as well as anything you would pick out at a furniture store. You will not be disappointed with their service. They are the best in South Florida!

They were local and the service was excellent. I called and spoke to a lady that was very nice. She followed up with every call. In fact, she over followed up. When she couldn't get in touch with me, she followed up in other ways. We finally decided on a phone call where I would be more reachable. She got in touch with me constantly and she kept backing it up. Tony came out and he did a thorough job of explaining and measuring. He measured properly and everything worked properly. They set up the appointment to put it up in relationship to my schedule. It was convenient for me. They did the work in a couple of days and cleaned up and took everything old out of the house. They gave me instructions to make sure the blinds work in the future. I was absolutely satisfied with them.

Extremely well! The covers of the seat and back cushions needed to be replaced as they were worn, primarily from the sun. Also the inner covers were done with some kind of cheap material and were completely coming apart. I found Tony's through Angie's and given the raving reviews did not even bother contacting any other upholstery establishment. Hubby made an appointment and we stopped by on a Friday to pick out the fabric and get an estimate. Not cheap, but then we also did not pick the cheapest fabric (fabric alone was $1,000). Since we were having a party the weekend after, we asked whether they would be able to finish the job within one week. And they were! Hubby took all cushions over on Saturday and was able to pick them up the following Friday. Karen and Tony are a lovely couple and both have a really good sense of humor. Tony's craftsmanship is really excellent, you can tell he is proud of it and provides good old fashioned quality (hard to find these days!). We'll be going back to get the dining chair cushions done in the same fabric. ...and I might have yet another job that I wanted done for years... :-)

I was a great experience. They were pleasant to deal with, they were very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to look for the fabric that I wanted and I would highly recommend this company. They were about 40% cheaper than the other 7 companies that we looked into. The finished product was available in 2 weeks which was a third of the time that everyone had given us.

Overall it was an excellent experience. From the initial phone contact , the meeting , the final product and payment. I am very Pleased and look forward to working with them again.

I messaged three providers to get quote for re-upholster my large custom sofa. I received a call from Karen in Tony's office almost immediately. I sent pictures and dimensions to Karen and had an estimate within the day and an appointment to view fabrics that week. Karen walked us through our fabric options and costs and introduced us to Tony and previewed some of this work. They made us feel very comfortable choosing them. They picked up and delivered the sofa at times convenient to me. The sofa was completed ahead of schedule and when delivered it was beautiful! You can see the pride in workmanship Tony takes in his work. The whole process was a pleasure - something you don't experience much in Florida. I highly recommend them for any upholstery work you may need.

They did a very good job. When I called and told them I got their name from Angie's List. They came out and took pictures and they told me it would be about 3 weeks. I put down half and picked out the material. It took the approximate time and they look beautiful now.

It went great!!!!!! I brought in the fabric from the old cushions to match the new fabric to the rest of the sofa. Karen worked with me until we found a fabric that was the perfect match and reasonable price. They aim to please. Since they were working with the old cover for the cushions, somehow that cover had shrunk and cushions ended up being a bit short. Karen wanted a picture of how the end product looked and when I sent her the picture and told her she asked me to bring them back with the right measurements and they would get them fixed at no extra cost. Quite honestly, if it would have been another company they would have charged me extra, but not only did they not do that, they were very quick in getting them back to me. End product looks amazing, it does not even look like it has been fixed. Tony is an artist! There is one more thing I have to say, thanks to Angie's List I was able to find Tony's Unique Upholstery. I am so glad I joined Angie's List! I found them thanks to this website. They are such a nice couple! Karen and Tony are so welcoming and they treat you like if you were part of the family. Oh, and Karen, she is such a lovely lady!!! Always with a smile on her face, which you can tell even if you are on the phone with her. Great service!!! Great work!!!!!

It was a great process. I went out to look at it, and they needed to make some tweeks. They were extremely responsive to this. Karen is really creative in coming up with ideas that add a lot of interest to the project. Tony does the actual upholstery work. He is very precise and does high quality work. I received quotes from other upholsters and this price was very fair.

They did a fantastic job. I had been researching flame-retardant free sofas for a while, as I have had various unexplained skin rashes and I have a lot of skin allergies and get headaches easily. After reading an article in the NY Times- link here- http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/09/magazine/arlene-blums-crusade-against-household-toxins.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 and then coming across a whole slew of evidence supporting the article's claims, I decided that I could no longer in good conscience purchase the new sofa i had had my eye on. After looking in vain for a comfortable, affordable organic sofa, I decided to re-upholster my 15 year old sofa bed. Karen was with me each step of the way, she did the research and spoke with several textile companies to gain more information. I could go on and on, but the point is that the sofa is beautiful. Yes, it is pricey, but buying an uncomfortable sofa would have cost me the same, and at least this way I still have a sofa bed for guests. The fabric is GORGEOUS, I love that I was able to get just one bottom cushion --made with organic latex surrounded with down-- so there's no sinking into the crevices. The job was done actually WAY earlier than expected, they delivered the sofa back to me 2 weeks earlier than I thought they would. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional and a pleasure to work with.

I called about 2 chairs that needed recovering. (I had purchased my own fabric). Karen took my call and reponded with a quote promptly; communication was very good throughout the process. The chairs were picked up at the promised time and they actually came back a little early. The upholstery job was beautiful! Tony even repaired the front of one of the chairs where the frame was broken (unbeknownst to us) at no extra charge. A very good experience!

There's no yay or nay on him. I think he tried to fix it but couldn't figure out what needed to be done. He didn't charge anything for it so I'm not going to say anything bad about him. He was a nice guy. I like somebody that will admit they don't know how to fix something. At least they don't try to fix, tear it up and charge you for it.

Easy experience-dropped off cushions, staff helped me pick out new material and completed in a week as promised.

We had a very good experience with them. We went down to pick out the materials, but they had so much more to choose from than other places. They had a wide variety of fabrics and they were very pleasant to work with. We gave them the order and they gave us a date that they will pick up the furniture. They were very punctual and then gave us an approximate date of when it was going to be delivered. It was delivered actually a little bit early, so the whole thing was done in a timely fashion and done very well. We were quite happy. Everything that they promised us they delivered and delivered it well. I thought their price was very fair. We picked out the material and you knew ahead of time what you were paying per square yard. The remainder of the cost was for labor and I thought the price of that was also extremely fair. It looks good and he did a good job. Their responsiveness was very good and they got it here before what was promised. They were very pleasant, very professional, and easy to work with. It's not the kind of thing that you need everyday of the week, but I would absolutely go back to them again.

They were good and they did a good job. They were reasonably priced. I would recommend them. They did a better job than the person who did it the first time. They had a wide selection of blinds. It was a big showroom.

We have a leather sofa with some minor damage on the back of the dust cover area, I don't want the hassle of returning the entire sofa back to the manufacturer and have to pay expensive shipping so I called "Tony's Unique Upholstery" for an estimate. I sent Karen an email with some pictures of the damage area and she called back within 24 hour and gave me a fair estimate. Service was arranged within 72 hours and they came to my house to fix the Torn area of the dust cover on Saturday April 13. Karen and Tony were punctual, professional and wonderful. Their price is right and I would highly recommend "Tony's Unique Upholstery" for any type of Furniture repair.
