We are redoing all the curtains in our home but decided to wait until after the holidays. She is excellent! She is very personable and knowledgeable about her trade. The customer service is great. She gave me a lot of ideas and gave pricing for different projects. She arrived when she said would. I would definitely recommend her.

My experience with Tony's was fantastic. They are attentive, quality-focused, trustworthy and do great upholstery work. From start to finish, unequivocally, the hands-down BEST experience working with any service provider I have had living in Miami Beach for the last 23 years. At the risk of gushing effusive praise, can I state that this company should be a country-wide model for all small businesses across the USA? My initial contact was with Karen,(enthusiastic, professional, and downright charming) who helped guide and instruct me on the best options available with cost-savings in mind, in addition to making the sofa look great. I had previously obtained two quotes from other upholsterers and was doubtful I was going to find a reasonable quote for reupholstering a sofa I had paid $4000 for four short years prior. Both quotes (Calico Corners and iDesign) were significantly higher than Karen's. It's evident from the finished product that Tony is a master craftsman. The attention to detail is outstanding. Karen worked within my timeframe, and the pick-up and delivery (both times, her crew arrived earlier than the appointed time--unheard of in Miami!) went remarkably smoothly. All in all, I could not be more satisfied with my experience. Tony's Unique Upholstery is one premium outfit!

Our sofa (which is over 10 years old) still had good "bones" and and an excellent fold-out bed, so we decided to get it reupholstered instead of buying something new. We looked at reviews on Angie's List and Tony's Unique Upholstery stood out with great reviews. We contacted them and Karen walked us through the necessary steps by email. She was even willing to meet us outside of her regular office hours to pick out a fabric, because our work hours are long. There were many choices, and Karen patiently explained their advantages and disadvantages. We settled on a fabric, and then scheduled the pick up. Their turnaround was much faster than not only anticipated, but much sooner than they had even promised. They worked with our schedule for both pickup and delivery, and were courteous and professional. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding - and it is as if we have a brand new sofa. Value for the money is definitely good.

I am extremely satisfied with this company. They are extremely professional and made this process very easy. I received the sofa in a timely manner and felt very comfortable calling Karen and Tony when I had a question. They were always receptive and were able to answer my questions. The quality of the work is exceptional. I will not hesitate using Tony's Unique Upholstery again.

Promptly contacted me by email and gave an estimate based on a photo I had provided. Actual cost was slightly less than the estimate. Explained all details to me over the phone including types of material to purchase if I wanted to buy it myself - which I did. Since this was a small ottoman and cushions I was able to take them to the shop myself but they do provide pickup and delivery if needed for a small fee. At the shop they have tons of beautiful fabric. The estimated time to complete the work was one week and it was done on time. The work is great - professional and well done. Wish I could attach a photo of the finished product - I am more than happy with it.

Working with Tony?s Unique Upholstery was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Tony is truly an artist and a perfectionist. He re-upholstered a sofa and loveseat, which included a complete re-designing of the back cushion areas of both and re-filled and covered the loose accent pillows. The structural design is beautiful, and the skirts and every section of the furniture is perfectly upholstered in the way one would imagine very fine hand crafted furniture would look. (Tony and his brother work together, so every piece actually gets individual attention and detail.) Everything is done step by step with infinite professionalism, kindness and patience. Karen, who is Tony?s wife and business partner, first had me send her photos of our living room, including the sofa, loveseat, fireplace, rug, and window coverings to give them a sense of our style and color choices. Then we made an appointment for Karen and Tony to come to our house, look at the furniture, discuss options and give us a price estimate. They brought numerous books of fabric samples books to our house as well as photos of sofas they had redesigned that were along the lines of the style we were considering. The books included samples in every price range. Karen and Tony explained how to determine fabric durability, and, at our request (since we have pets), they geared us away from fabrics that might not stand up to heavy wear. We picked out a fabric which we ultimately chose, but decided to go to their showroom later that week to make sure. In the showroom, Karen showed me every fabric available that had the type of durability and design I was looking for, and I brought home a few more samples for comparison. Once we made our decision, they picked up our sofa and loveseat and returned them completely re- done in less than three weeks. In addition to the reupholstering, Tony made removable seat covers and covers for the back cushions for additional protection from wear on a day to day basis. We could not be happier and can only give them the highest of recommendations!

It went perfect. They did an outstanding job. Karen was a nice lady, she was my angel. She had a great selection of fabric. The price and estimation was right on and my sofa looks great. Brian and Analky were excellent guys. They were very very nice and professional.

Beautiful work, very responsive

Karen & Tony are both very nice people, and do excellent work. I had Tony recover a small footstool for me, and replace the cushion on the seat piece for my favorite arm chair. The fabric on the seat and back cushions of a 2nd armchair needed to be replaced while the no longer comfortable stuffing needed to be replaced as well, so Tony used the old cushions to custom create replacements. I look forward to using my favorite chair with the new cushion, and the chair in the guest bedroom will now actually be comfortable to sit in. Be careful, though--Karen is such a nice person and has such an incredible collection of fabric samples available to look at that you could very easily and enjoyably spend more time picking out your fabrics than you had planned on.

Tony and Karen were very friendly and easy to work with. The fabric I chose ended up being on back order so there was a delay but since I really wanted that fabric I was willing to wait for it. The window seat cushion turned out great and the accent pillows on the sofa really tie everyting together. I would definitely use this company again.

Their customer service was superb. Not only was the chair covered, but her cushion was also done in the same fabric. When she saw it she was so moved. When she sat down she audibly said "AHHH" They were just tremendous and I will use their services in the future also.

The entire experience was a pleasure. Karen and Tony were totally professional, competent, friendly and helpful. And the price was right! I will return again and would happily recommend "Tony's" to my friends.

They were very professional. The work was very good. They were always on time.

It went very well. We went to the showroom where Karen showed up several hundred samples. She was very knowledgeable, honest and efficient. She made our appointment and her boys picked up the furniture. At the time, we did meet Tony the owner. He was very respectful and professional. they beat our expectations!!!

Karen and her husband were absolutely wonderful to work with. I live in Miami and the sofabed was picked up and delivered exactly when agreed to even though the weather conditions were terrible. Karen went out of her way to assist me with the correct fabric choice and the finished product is absolutely beautiful and we continue to admire the workmanship every day. They care about the quality of their work and go all-out to please their customers. Everyone who has seen the sofabed is amazed that it is the same one that looked so terrible in its former shape - the extra touches they provided mean a lot and I would recommend this company highly to everyone.

Karen and Tony could write the book on customer service. They were a pleasure to work with. Karen is the up-front person, helping to choose fabric, working out schedules, logistics and all business-related issues. Tony is the artist. The combination is unbeatable. Our chairs are stunningly beautiful. Tony's craftsmanship is obvious; the pattern matches in exactly the same way on each chair and the double ribbing around the edges is impeccable. Fabric that had to be ordered from Europe arrived earlier than expected (because Karen was our tireless advocate on the phone) and the job was, consequently, finished earlier than anticipated. The entire transaction was a joy. I have recommended this dynamic duo to friends and would be honored to recommend them to other Angie's List colleagues.

He did a good job. He was very good and he helped me with the design. He picked the appropriate sheet and he was timeless.
