Karen assisted us in our fabric selection, and also suggested replacing the foam which we hadn't previously considered. The work was done promptly and was of very high quality. Our chairs look brand new again, and the job was completed in less than a week.

Another impressive job by Tony's Unique Upholstery. I hired them previously to redo a chair that belonged to my great grandmother. Tony's does such a great job. They have exceeded my expectations once again with a game table redo. The set ( game tabel and 4 chairs) was in pretty bad shape as it had been used in a hunting cabin, so it was not well cared for to say the least. I wanted to update the set and give it some personaility that fits my style. Karen is wonderful at asking questions to determine your tastes and she listens to your needs and hleps you find a fabric that you will love. They have a huge selection of samples available on site to choose from. Tony does the upholstering work and you can tell by the quality of the work that he has extensive experiance. Once you have decided to move forward, they are fast. Within two weeks, they finished the table and it was back in my home to enjoy for years to come. My only regret it that I don't have any more furniture that needs to be redone cause I would love to use them again. You can select Tony's to do your reupholstery job with 100% confidence.

There were many details involved: deadlines that had to made in conjunction with the move, shipping expensive fabric from manhattan and dealing with my extreme obsessive compulsiveness. Karen at Tony's handles all those details and let me tell you she is amazing! Tony's work speaks for itself (please take a look at the pictures I took). I had to include close ups so that you can get a true idea of how unbelievable it is.

Great!!! I emailed a photo of the chair I wanted to have reuphostered. I was given an estimate via email the same day. I went into the facility( kind of a warhouse, nothing fancy) the following week and met with Karen. She is a wonderful person and very knowlegable about fabics. She talked with me about my likes and dislikes and helped me to pick the perfect fabric. She has a wall of fabrics to choose from. We then arranged to have the chair picked up from my home so they could begin the work. The job took about 2 weeks- the time they had commited to me. The chair looks great, wonderful terrific. The work Tony's did to reupholtering this chair is beautiful. His consideration of the fabrics pattern and how to place it on the chair along with how the seams were done is top notch. I could not be hapier with the work. And to top it off they are such nice people. I wish I had more furniture I could bring here. Don't hesitate- tak eyour family heirlooms here and make them new again. My great-grandma would be thrilled to see how great her old chair looks. Thank you Tony and Karen for an awesome job!

The overall experience was excellent - it was my first use of angie's list and completely justified the membership fee. Prior to meeting with Tony and Karen in person, I consulted with Karen on the phone regarding choice of fabric. She was utterly delightful and we were able to order swatches from various websites which I received in time for our meeting. She also gave me a reasonable estimate. We scheduled a meeting for 11/11/10 and Tony and Karen arrived on time. They were easy to work with and we were able to select a fabric which I promptly ordered online. They promised the chairs by Thanksgiving but the fabric arrived ahead of schedule and they had the chairs ready by 11/19/10. I was exceedingly pleased with the result - the chairs are gorgeous and the workmanship is impeccable. In addition Tony and Karen are charming people and a pleasure to work with. Also, the fact that they offer a 10% discount to angie's list subscribers is a nice bonus.

I needed to have a sofa bed and 2 chairs reupholstered. The first call to inquire was returned immediately and a convenient time was selected for me to come in to view fabric selections available. Tony and Karen were very helpful in getting an appropriate fabric and placing the order. The turn around time was terrific from start to finish. Pick up and delivery were easy and I am delighted with a job well done.

Spoke with Karen (Tony's wife) who was very pleasant to deal with and explained that we had already purchased the material for the two chairs that needed to be upholstered. She asked me to send her pictures of the chairs and then she called me back with an estimate. We also discussed the damaged office chair and possible solutions for repair (partial re-upholster or full). Karen made arrangements to send Tony to my house with some samples for the office chair the next day. Though her husband was a little delayed on making the appointment time, Karen made sure I was notified of the short delay in Tony making the appointment time. When I met Tony, he was very friendly and gave me several alternatives for the office chair. ( we chose a partial re-upholster). Tony was able to match the existing material. I asked that the office chair be returned as soon as they could but to my surprise, they completed all of their work exceptionally quick and delivered ALL of the chairs on a Saturday afternoon. What great service and their work was outstanding. In addition, Karen followed up several days later to see if we were satisfied. I did not shop for any additional prices but relied solely on the reputation of the company based on the references on Angie's List. Re-upholstering is not inexpensive, but if you have furniture that you like and want quality work with someone you can trust, give Tony's Upholstering an opportunity.

The person they spoke to on the phone promptly set the date and asked about color choices. Tony arrived on time and had a wonderful selection of fabrics. Ten days later he brought the seats back and attached them. They were very professional and secure.

Tony and Karen are great to work with! They are both friendly, efficient and professional. They helped us find the perfect fabric and had them done in just a couple days. We plan to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some upholstering.

Tony arrived at our scheduled time with a fine selection of choices from my preselected colors. Work was excellent and done in a timely manner. He returned to replace the seats to the chairs. I wascompletel pleased with his work and highly recommend him!

The work was done on time and professionally to my expectations, the couch was promptly delivered and I will be using the service again for my other antique pieces.

I left a voicemail and was called back that afternoon by a very helpful and pleasant employee. When they came over at the time they had indicated prior....wow on time serive.....Tony was very professional and knowledgable about the furniture damages. He took my sofa to the warehouse to be fixed and advised I would get it back by Thursday or Friday. I received a call on Thursday and it was at my home Friday in great shape. I am very pleased with the service I recieved, the call back manner and delivery. I give this company an A+ Good help is hard to find. I love this Angie's List process. Great idea.

My grandmother gave me her Queen Anne chairs that she bought in 1965 and recovered in 1988. They needed some freshening up. I consulted with Karen on site concerning the job, talked fabrics and other details. I then brought my prized chairs in for reupholstery with fabric I had snatched up on sale! Tony and staff recovered them within a couple of weeks and called me to inspect the work. I was more than thrilled to see the finished product and particularly grateful to Karen for being patient for my late arrival to pick them up. Tony and one of colleagues helped me load the chairs carefully into my Element and away we went. I can't wait for my grandmother to see the chairs.

Tony came out promptly and looked at the chair. He gave me a ballpark estimate but said he couldn't know for sure until he took the chair apart to see the damage. The actual job was $100 higher than the ballpark estimate. He not only repaired the frame, but he also re-stuffed the cushions. The recliner feels like new again. He picked up and delivered the chair, I didn't have to transport it. The quality of the work was excellent. I would gladly use their services again, and I recommend them.

Tony came over immediately after I sent an e-mail to the company, after finding him through Angie's list. He provided a very ample selection of fabrics appropriate for the chairs and which may be less attractive to a cat because of the tightness of the weave. We both agreed on the fabric and color to complement the rest of my living room. The work took two weeks, a bit sooner than I expected, much to my delight. I have done re-upholstery myself, but did not dare do the chairs because of their lines and style. The work completed by Tony was extremely fine: fine workmanship and he threw in arm and seat protectors (for the cat). I am thoroughly pleased and will recommend this craftsman to anyone who needs fine re-upholstery work done.

Whether you're an expert in interior design--or don't know the first thing about selecting fabric or coordinating colors--Tony's Unique Upholstery will take good care of you. Tony's was the only upholsterer we contacted after consulting Angie's List, and the minute we met him and his colleague Karen, we knew we were in good hands, and there was no need to contact other companies. We made an appointment to consult with Tony and Karen at the showroom on a Saturday, and they patiently worked with my husband and I, looking through fabrics and combinations until they were sure we were satisfied with our selection. They have superior customer service skills--a rarity in South Florida! Tony and an assistant made an appointment the following week to pick up our furniture and arrived right on time. Tony estimated it would take approx. 2 weeks to complete the work, which gave us time to order new carpet and have it installed before the furniture was returned. Two weeks to the day, our furniture and new sheers for our french doors were ready and delivered. Tony and Karen personally supervised the delivery and installation of the sheers to ensure everything went as planned. As for the results? Spectacular! Tony added extra detail to one of our sofas to give it a more contemporary look. He went an extra step to create 2 new sofa throw pillows in contrasting fabric that dress up the sofa beautifully. You can tell by looking at the quality and detail work on all of the sofas and chairs that Tony is a master craftsman. We are thrilled with his work which has given our living and family rooms an entirely new look--well worth every penny. I am pleased to give Tony's Unique Upholstery my highest recommendation to all Angie's List members in South Florida!

The work went extremely well. Tony's came out the day I called, gave me an estimate, and took the chair in. I was told that it would take about a week to ten days. Tony, I presume, called me three days later that the chair was done and returned it that day. While the chair is 20 years old, it looks like new and is as comfortable as it was when I purchased it. I strongly recommend this company and plan to use them again.

He came in and he didn't seem very knowledgeable on slip covering. He didn't seem very interested in the job I was requesting. I told him at the beginning that I had my own fabric. I didn't get a good feeling from him and didn't end up going with them.

Fantastic. He is polite and professional. After seeing the fantastic job, I had him do 3 more chairs, a sofa and a footstool. He also made some pillows. While his prices are a little higher than I've experienced in the past, I was so pleased with his work that it didn't matter.

I am extremely, extremely picky about any service performed. My interior designer (who is located in Texas) is very detail oriented but did not know anyone I could use locally for the upholstering of six dining room chairs in an expensive, thick, velour material with horizontal colored lines. Tony did an AMAZING job. He picked up the chairs and material the day the items were delivered to my house and delivered them back at the scheduled time (JUST FIVE DAYS!!). They look perfect and it must have been very difficult to keep the lines in the material perfectly horizontal. He was friendly, nice and dependable (unbelievable in Miami). Basically he is an upholstering and service miracle and I am overjoyed that I found him on Angie's list!!!

They picked the chairs up and delivered them when they were done. They offer a great service and the chairs look beautiful. Tony was very polite and professional and I couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommended!

Excellent. Tony came out and gave me samples to pick from for color/pattern of leather. Went back to get additional samples and came right back. Took 1 1/2 weeks to have chair and ottoman completed. Great work and very professional job! I love my newly done chair!

The experience was excellent it was an A. The owner is a very pleasant and professional person. He came out to my house promptly after I called. He consulted with me on what needed to be done and the selection of fabric for my upholstering. He began the work immediately and finished it before it was promised. The end result was perfect and I am very happy with my reupholstered furniture.
