Description of Work: Came to repair running toilet that would not flush. When he came, turned on water......toilet flushed. Found out this was the new toilet that had the new equipment. Problem was that when toilet was flushed it locked the flushing mechanism. The plumber, Pasco, showed me how to release the lock if this happens again. Pasco was extremely efficient and knew exactly what he was doing. The only charge was the Service Charge. I would highly recommend this company and this plumber. In fact, I have entered Plumber Mikes number in my emergency phone number log along with always requesting Pasco if I ever need to call for a plumber. It's very nice when you get a good company and staff. Again thanks to Angies list.

Description of Work: The Kitchen sink would not drain. The repairman showed me how to clear and reset the garbage disposal which fixed the problem. He was very professional but he arrived 1.5 hours after the appointment time. He did call to say he would be late.

Description of Work: Called for clogged shower drain. Guy came out, on time:) and said he fixed the drain, to call if it backs up again? One week later backup again, I call for him, he's no longer with them. They said another guy out, no return charge:), but for that I did ask. The new plumber seems very knowledgeable and states I have the wrong size drain and proceeds to state he can fix it for 2k? I pass I wish the first plumber knew that Will call another company for a second opinion. Company was very nice, prompt and reasonably priced. I am just unsure if the plumbers experience levels.

Description of Work: Technician was polite and professional. I mentioned that I assumed it was a certain issue and he ended up telling me that it was much less complicated and cheaper than I suspected.

Description of Work: Uncloged garage disposal that was leaking into dishwasher. Installed new shower head. Lonnie arrived on time and prepared. Showed us the problems. Fixed them in a jiffy. We hired plumber mikes to do another job that was more involved. The second job we hired them for was completed the following week. The main water shut off would not completely shut off. This involved a main line shut off in the building. Unfortunately our super shut off the wrong line extending the job for much longer than what would have been necessary. Our repairman Joe( I think)was cool and cordial throughout the day. Claudette followed up with us to ensure satisfaction. Great experience. Would definately hire again if needed.

Description of Work: This is the first time I've called Plumber Mikes and my first experience with Angie's List. I had a leaking toilet and a broken waste disposal unit. The person who answered the telephone was helpful and courteous. Lonnie came out quickly and was extremely professional. He made sure that I understood all the options available for the repairs and what the cost would be. I also received a 10% discount because I found them on Angie's List. The disposal unit ultimately required an electrician. Lonnie recommended one, called him for me, and arranged for him to come out that evening. The service was really excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: I wish to retract my prior review of Plumber Mike's and let all Angie's list customers know that if you are using Plumber Mike's do not get sucked into their scam of referencing "United Restoration Services" for water damages. At the time I was pleased with the rep who went out of his way to indicate:(a) you need to get "mold" taken care of(b) I know someone who can help(c) don't worry about cost - Insurance pays everything United Restoration was there very quickly which in hindsight why wouldn't any crook be there in a minute? Net/Net I am being charged close to $5,000 by this criminal company recommended by Plumber Mikes which is nothing short of extortion!!! (2 min/day of service reps - Insane!!!) VERY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH - Will Never use Plumber Mike's again - We are pursuing Legal Action against United Water Restoration as well

Description of Work: I called them to come out and give an estimate to repair a broken pipe under our house. The city had alerted us the day before that our water consumption for the month lead them to believe we had a major problem. Two plumbers came and opened the wall to try to find the correct pipe to "cap off" so it could possibly be re-routed. All was fine until the owner Mike showed up and began asking about my insurance deductible and stating that I could "get a new bathroom" out of the situation if we let them handle it. He was planning to let water seep into one of my rooms to show water damage and to exceed my deductible. Very shady... Obviously I did not choose their services and was extremely happy with Joe Cole Plumbing. They repaired the problem in one day with minimal disruption to walls, etc. and even allowed me to pay over 2 months with no fees!

Description of Work: Joe came out and checked my leaking toilet. After checking it out, he indicated that it would probably cost more to fix it than it was really worth. He gave me an estimate to fix and an approximate price for a new toilet. I chose to go with a new toilet, the old one was about 18 years old and the bolts were rusted. Joe indicated that he would order the new toilet and install it the following Tuesday. On Tuesday, he showed up with a helper and installed the new toilet neatly and efficiently. He did this in spite of the fact that he had hurt his back over the weekend and was obviously in significant pain. This day in time you never see people who are this conscientious and reliable. I give Joe an A+ and Plumber Mike an A+ because they were smart enough to hire and keep Joe.

Description of Work: Did a good job! These guys have always been helpful and the price simply can not be beat. I had to wait a little extra because the plumber got caught up at his prior job but they did call to inform me of the delay. Will definitely be keeping their magnet on my fridgr for all future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Called Mike around 8:30 PM on Monday night and informed him of a leaking tub drain situation I had and he was able to have a team out to my location the next morning. Once the issue was identified to be the tub drain, I was quoted the price and with hours a new drain was in place. The workers were professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: I heard a water running sound behind bathroom wall. It was determined that a lot of water was leaking under house from a pipe that broke. Kevin oversaw project, and the leak was repaired.

Description of Work: The plumber came out to fix a shower that was leaking and had not been properly installed in the first place. The technician was knowledgeable and did the job requested as well as fixed our main water valve, that also was not installed properly. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them for fast, courteous and efficient service
