Description of Work: The guys came over and provided an estimate for $1,900 and told me that it was a gift because this work would normally cost $2,400. Later that day, another plumber found through Angie's (A2Z Plumbing) provided an estimate for the EXACT same work for <1/3 the price $1,900 vs. $569.

Description of Work: Replaced my leaking main water valve and leaking hose bib. Since they were both together they gave me a discount. It took the plumber about an hour and a half to complete the job. He cleaned up, turned the main water supply off at the meter and then back on again when he finished. Everything works great now.

Description of Work: Our landscaper damaged one of the spigots on the outside of the house, and turned our main valve off. They didn't leave any message about it. I discovered there was no water when making dinner. When we turned the main valve back on, water was spraying out of the line between the main pipe and the spigot. The tech from Plumber Mike replaced the spigot in short order, despite the fact it was already getting dark out. His skill and professionalism were greatly appreciated, and we'll use them again if we need plumbing work done.

Description of Work: Installed new toilet, moved old one to another bathroom and installed that, completely removed broken old toilet from premises. Inspected bathtub drain and behind walls for leaks. Discovered dampness caused by air conditioning condensation, not a plumbing problem. I recommend this company.

Description of Work: It was a Sunday, but the plumber did arrive an hour later than the original estimate. |It was an emergency repair, but $1100 was a lot to replace a foot of (underground) plastic pipe about three feet from the water meter. The national range for such a repair is $800-$1100 and that probably includes leaks that are harder to find. Maybe that's what that costs, but I may just live without water longer next time and get three estimates.

Description of Work: Unblocked sewer line and ran a camera true sewer line. |Was quoted a price of $350 by the phone operator and when the plumber arrived, the price went up to $500. He said that cleaning the line was not included with the camera. Other wise everything else was excellent.

Description of Work: Be advised that provider will charge $45 dollars just to come to your home for a quote. That should be in their statement of charges on Angie's list. They were very prompt in responding and the woman on the phone I spoke with to get an appointment was very professional. I've had 2 members from Angie's list come and give quotes and neither asked for compensation.
