Plumber Mikes

I called on Wed., Jan 19; Lonnie came on Thurs., Jan.21, and told me what was causing the problem. Two workers came on Friday, Jan.21, and did the work noted above. They came on time, were courteous and professional. They worked very carefully to remove only the tile in the shower area and not damage the other wall tile. Same with removing the shower door they kept it in usable condition. I would, without any hesitation, call Plumber Mikes first for any future plumbing issues and I would not hesitate to recommend his company to anyone else.

Went great. James arrived, went right to work. Traded out valve, cleaned up nicely. Bonus: He's a nice guy.

I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the work done by James. I will definitely use them again, if and when the need arises!

James arrived, saw the problem, verified he had the necessary parts and then fixed the problem. It was painless and done very well

The person who answered the phone proceeded quickly to schedule my service since I had water leaking into garage. The plumber arrived in less than an hour to fix the heater. This company has great response time, competent employees and is one of the best service providers I have encountered in many years.

Plumber Mike didn't come out, he sent a sub-contractor. He put something really strange on for the shut off valve. He had to leave for about 1 1/2 hours to get parts. It took him several tries to get it fixed. So far it is holding up, but it seemed to be quite expensive.

He did a wonderful job. He told me what products he used so I don't clog it again as badly. He fixed the toilet temporarily and gave me an estimate for the permanent fix.

Plumber (Lonnie) was on-site within 1 hour of calling about services. Gave estimate and completed repair within 1 hour. Very professional and helpful with recommendations to save money on other plumbing needs for future bathroom remodeling.

After calling around for estimates, Plumber Mike was not the lowest price, but he didn't charge extra for working on Saturday. He was responsive and professional and as he had a good rating on Angie's List, we chose him to do the work. The plumber arrived on time the next day. The work was completed and well done.

Just moved into a new house that sat vacant for a few years. After a few weeks our toilets started to gurgle when we were showering and drains started to run slow. We got some organic pluming liquid and used as instructed and it seemed to help. Of course the day our first house guests arrive the plumbing system backs up completely and this time the shower nor the toilets are draining. Called up Plumber Mikes and the girl that answered the phone was pleasant. I explained the situation and she told me that all the plumbers were out on jobs but as soon as she heard back one that she would give me a call. She informed me that it would be a couple hours before someone could come out. I got a call about an hour later and a plumber arrived approx. 30 mins after that and remove a "sanitary napkin" that was clogging the main drain. Mind you we have NO sanitary napkin users in our home so that's been sitting in the drain for a very long time. Anyway, I don't know how these guys handle this nasty stuff on a daily bases but they were very friendly and quickly took care of the problem. They handed the bill (less the Angie's list discount...more thumbs ups) and I wanted to pay by credit card they guy said that I just need to call it into the main office and off he went. Lets just say I have a new appreciation for properly working drains. I have their number programed into my phone and even though I hope to never have to call them again, I will not hesitate if i do.

Very well. The plumber showed up on time and did an excellant job. We had left the bad disposal go much longer than we should have which made the job much harder than it should have been.The price was still the same as the estimate we got over the phone even though there was obviously extra work involved. Everything works great and no more leaks!

From the initial telephone call to the project finish.....pure professionalism. I was bery impressed with Lonnie, the plumber. He took great pride in his work. Upon arrival he placed dropclothes to protect the floors, he installed the faucet without damaging the wall tile, cleaned up carefully, then proudly demonstrated the work he had done. He was very amiable, outgoing. I was completely satisfied, and my tenants were impressed, as well. I felt the price was very reasonable for the work that was done. I will keep Plumber Mikes card in my card file!

Called them solely based on reviews from Angie's List. For the initial visit, plumber was pleasant enough. Arrived close to schedule and the owner followed up at the time. However, workmanship during the simple repairs was suspect as there were a few messy errors in the repair process -- creating some unexpected water gushes and mess which I was left to clean up on my own -- although all appears to be well now. Were not gracious about coming back to fix an error of theirs a few days later; arrived late and left without comment. Unfortunately, I would not use again based on my experience with the service, however I am not giving a low grade as the fix they made seems to be holding -- so I am giving them a "B" overall.

One morning I found water all over the bathroom floor - wasn't overlfowing from toilet bowl - I thought there was a crack on the bottom - did not use toilet until it was fixed - Lonny came out - found that a clip was off the tube in the tank so water had come up and leaked out - he tightened tank to base and replaced clip. He charged the consult fee of $49.95 - very nice and professional - I will use them again in a heartbeat.

It went very well. The work was done neatly and in a reasonable length of time. James cleaned up after his work was done. Very good experience. I will be making some improvements in the bathrooms later on and will definitely contact plumber Mikes again.

I had called asking them to camera the line as advised by my home warranty company after our toilet overflowed. They matched the price of the warranty rep quoted for using a camera and were done with the job within 3 hours of my call. The camera showed a separation in the line about 15 feet from the side of the house. James and Rick were good at assessing the problem and digging under the house. They had to break through tiles inside - 2 areas - but were great a problem solving, mitigating the damage to the interior of our house, documenting everything, cleaning up after the job was done, and cleaning up after each day. They replaced the cast iron pipe with PVC and refilled the dirt packing it down with water. They laid concrete down and prepped the area for new tiles to be laid. James was professional and very conscientious about the stress of having ones house disrupted by such a large repair and Rick was excellent at digging/tunneling, and affable. When the job was completed they removed the debris piles outside and stored the old pipes. I reallly appreciated how both offered to resecure my mailbox to the front of the house. A quick job but something obviously outside the scope of either of their responsiblities. So far we have had no further problems. I will continue to use Plumber Mikes for any plumbing issues.

Lonnie, gave me an estimate, than as he found the toilet was cracked, and the water valve was leaking he explained to me to have the items replaced now while he was there would be more cost effective.

I love that Saturday during business hours is no extra charge. Mike was very nice and responsive, and quickly fixed our problem.

I had a problem with the kitchen faucet only trickling water and water under the house also. I've used Plumber Mike's satisfactorily in the past so I called them again. They said they would have someone at the house within 1/2 hour and they did, with James calling to reiterate that he would be there in 1/2 hour. He was prompt and determined that the faucet was at fault--tried to find the part but no plumbing supply company had it. He returned and set to work replacing the drain pipe in the crawl space while I got a new faucet. Came back with the drain repaired and he installed the new faucet, tested it and all is well. The response was prompt and the price reasonable and James was very helpful with information. I will use them again!

Shower is working fine however water lines still have a bit of a hammer and don't think this is something that can be resolved easily. Lonnie came out and was exceptional. He did a very good job and was responsive. He understood my concerns. However, price was one which still seemed a bit more than expected. I would have appreciated a larger discount considering the job was a minor one. I will note that it was a Saturday. I would hire again in the future and ask for Lonnie.

Friday night I noticed water damage in my bedroom/master bath ceiling and around air vent. The water mark on the ceiling was wet and growing. I know from experience this can be serious and cause extensive costly damage. I called Plumber Mikes Sat. a.m.; they answered promptly, helped me immediately over the phone and sent a plumber out within the hour. He was completely knowledgeable and experienced. He found the leak was coming from the unit above mine which is unoccupied; he explained this to my property manager and had her get a locksmith to open the above unit; we gained entry, he found the leak source and fixed the problem. His quick and expert actions averted what would have been a costly, messy disaster. I cannot say enough good about this plumber (Lonnie) and his company. I recommend them highly.

Pipe leak started flooding our current tenants' units on a SUnday morning. I used Angie's list to find a plumber (actually joined it to get a plumber with a recommendation, in this case, to avoid blind-picking from Yellow pages listings). I chose Plumber Mikes , and called. Claudette andswered and was great. She made a call and got John, one of Plumber Mike's ling term plumbers out to the site in less than an hour. Let me say I cannot say enough good about John. My husband is a very accomplished craftsman and difficult to please much less impress. He was EXTREMELY happy with John. He told me John really knew his stuff (which is saying something, coming from my husband), and that he buted his butt working our issue, and was completely professional. The job was completed the next day (by John with another man), pretty much unsupervised , with great results. We paid by check at the office, and Claudette included the 10% angie's list coupon they are currently offering without us mentioning. We would use Plumber Mikes again in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't call or recommend them to anybody. Called on Friday to schedule the visit for Saturday. Nobody showed up or even called me to cancel or reschedule. I called again on Sunday twice and was told that they had an emergency but they were sending a plumber that day. I waited all Sunday long and, again, noboy called or showed up. Terrible experience!

I am a new member to Angie's List. Obviously, this was the perfect opportunity to try it out! I selected Plumber Mike's from a lengthy list primarily because of the numerous superlative customer comments. As my problem was not an emergency, I emailed the office late in the evening after I had successfully secured the leaking water. Another bathroom is nearby, hence, no emergency. Claudette responded immediately the following morning and when I called the office she set up an appointment for the plumber to appear based on my schedule. Their designated plumber, Lonnie, not only called well in advance of our agreed upon appointment, but he was actually early by at least twenty minutes. Lonnie immediately diagnosed the problem and advised me that I really had no problem. It seems that I had not positioned the valve correctly (only partially open) and that it needs to be fully open to prevent leakage. He readjusted the positioning of the valve, explained the logic to me and announced there would be no charge! He further examined the connections of both hot and cold valves to ensure integrity and advised me that the valves were in perfect operating condition. Needless to say, I was amazed and thoroughly impressed by his honesty, integrity and professionalism. As I mentioned, I am a new member and this experience has solidified my confidence in not only this organization, but especially Plumber Mike's and Lonnie. My home is 60+ years old and I know there are going to be additional problems in the future but now I know who to call: Lonnie at Plumber Mike's!
