The owner Mike quoted the job promptly. Joe accessed our issues that same afternoon. We set up an appointment to have the work done and both Joe and Johnny did an excellent job. I would call them again.

Plumber Mikes was great. They answered my phone call on Friday, and asked when I wanted them to come to our home. I asked for the next day (Saturday at 11:00AM). They arrived a few minutes early, and Joe was very pleasant. He had a smile on his face, was professional, friendly, and easy to deal with. In about 1.5 hours he had both sinks completed and was finished with the job. He cleaned up after himself, and dis a high quality job. I was very pleased. I would definately use Plumber Mikes again, and recommend them to other folks.

I would definitely use this company again! From the moment I first called them until the very end I was pleased with the service and courtesy I received. The gentleman that answered my call was polite and courteous. He asked a couple of questions and then informed me that he could have someone out within 2 hours, which was acceptable (and faster than expected). Not only was the plumber, James, here within 2 hours he was here in less than 1 hour! He performed the job quickly and efficiently. After completing the job I called about, I asked him about a problem I was having in another bathroom and he took a look. After discussing the problem he offered a "patch" not permanent fix, as I was not ready to tear all of the tile off of the wall to get to the underlying pipes. This was most acceptable since I had already had another plumber take a look at it and he said there was nothing he could do about it. James was friendly and informative. I appreciated the time he took to explain what he was going to do and how to avoid the problem in the future. I would say comparing the experience with both plumbing companies (both found on Angie's List) I will be calling Plumber Mike's for all of our plumbing needs-and you should too.

I was very satisfied with Plumber Mikes. He told me a chemical that would take care of the roots that were causing the problem. He also showed up early, which I was shocked about.

The first positive part of this was when we set up the appointment. We said, "When can you come," and Plumber Mike's reply was, "No...not when can I come, but when are YOU available." How is that for treating the customer right!!!! On the day of the appointment, he was actually late in arriving, but CALLED us to let us know he was going to be late--and it was only 1/2 hour or so late. Wow! Really appreciated that call! Checked out the drain and disposal and recommended that we upgrade the disposal since the tenant wasn't using it enough to keep it clear. We decided to just remove it since the tenant didn't really want it. He took it out and then ran to HD to get the supplies necessary to reconnect the drain. Snaked out the drain well beyond the unit, into the building pipes. Runs like a charm now! Really happy with the service. B for the price since it seems a bit high. I can't really complain though because I didn't ask for an estimate ahead of time--I just wanted the job done and done right. That they did. I own three apartments and my own home. Plumber Mike's will be getting all my plumbing business from now on.

I called Mike and he answered immediately. It was 7:00 pm on a Saturday. Amazing ! He sent Kevin and he was here within 20 minutes. I was so grateful. Was trying to change out water fixtures in kids bathroom. They had been there since 1970 and were leaking badly. I was able to do 2 faucets, but the third, hot water faucet would not budge. He was so helpful. I had to shut the water off when doing this repair and could not go all night without the water. I was so grateful and faucets were done and no leaks. Thank you so much for your promptness, kindness, professionalism. I will definitely call them again. What a great experience. Thank you Mike and Kevin !! :)

Several months ago I found a leak in the bathroom, the person who came did not do the job properly and I was left to find a new company to finish the job. Angie's List came to the rescue. After contacting Plumber Mike's I knew they will do the job the right way. Kevin came in person, explained what needed to be done in detail, gave me an estimate. It was to my satisfaction. The job was completed on July 20, 2011.

The toilet seat install was done well. After we used them for a day or so we decided that they needed to be re positioned. When we called them back they came back promptly & changed the way the seats sat on the bowl & did not charge for the call back. The new sink faucet, unfortunately did not go well - not the plumbers fault - because this fancy faucet I bought did not fit in the holes in our existing sink. When we discovered this, he had already removed the existing faucet so he had to put this back. Even though he had not caused this problem, since he could not do what was needed he did not charge us for this work. This is a very good company with which to deal. They are honorable & I highly recommend them.

I called to get a leaky shower fixed. The technician determined that it was the hot water valve and that it needed the stem replaced. He showed me the stem. He said that it was an old valve and that it might be difficult to find a replacement. That he would look around at plumbing supply companies. If he couldn't find the valve, he would have to replace the two valves with a more modern fixture. He would have to tear out the tile at a cost of ± $375.00. I subsequently called a second plumber and he replaced both stems for $97.00

Lonnie Perez was here within the hour as promised. He is professional and very informative, understanding my concerns. I would hire him again and recommend him higly.

Owner, Mike, came over the same day we called, which was a Sunday. His crew was prompt and kept the area clean. All of the plumbers were courteous and knew what they were doing. But they overcharged by at least double, I later found. In addition, one of the plumbers immediately said we needed mold removal ASAP. I have a friend in the business, but the plumber called his contact anyway . . . it was quite embarrassing when the plumbers mold contractor showed up at the same time as my friend, whom I had already hired. Mike and his lead guy continually mentioned that they wanted to do the bathroom renovation. I said I wanted to convert to a shower and use a Kerti-Schluter system, which they had no experience with, so Mike attempted to dissuade me from using the system, which is proven and widely used and available. I believe he only did this because he did not know how to do the installation and wanted the job. Later, I had a friend with access to software that gives the average of what insurance companies reimburse for various jobs, I learned how much I had been overcharged. My insurance adjuster also said we had been overcharged by quite a bit. As a result, we had to tighten the budget on other parts of the renovation. At the end of the experience, I felt the labor was quality, but that Mike had taken advantage of us. Therefore, I would not recommend this company to Angie's list. I might add that when he came to reposition the shower head and valve, he originally charged us $1,800 for 4 hours (1 man). When I complained loudly, Mike readjusted to $1,000. However, I had two other professionals in the plumbing business tell me this should have been $700, tops.

After contacting Mike, I received a call within a few hours!!! I could not believe it. Trades people actually return phone calls. He displayed the outmost professionalism in discussing my particular situation. Eventhough I did not use Mike's services, his responsiveness and attention to my situation was impecable. The simple return of a phone call goes a long way in this business, when so many other business simply fail in doing something so simple. It is easy for Mike's Plumbing to stand out. In the event my situation calls for a Plumber, I am most definitely going to be contacting him and his team.

The gentleman who helped me was very curteous, helpful, and quick. He first gave me an estimate and the next time he completed the job within 2 hours.

I'm very satisfied with this service. He not only repaired the broken sprinkler heads, he also adjusted the way several were operating to give me better coverage, and capped off one that seemed to be extraneous. He also looked at my timer and made some recommendations for a more efficient schedule, and showed me how all the zones operate. (I just moved in to this house in January.) When I called for service, they gave me an appointment right away, and the service tech called to say he was on his way and then arrived right on time. He wore shoe covers to avoid tracking dirt into my house (a very nice touch, even though I have kids and a dog!) He was very thorough and patient in answering my questions, even about several other plumbing issues that were unrelated to the purpose of the service call. I will definitely use them again, and recommend them to neighbors.

Start to finish, these guys were great. The receptionist was polite and precise in asking questions to narrow the possible problems. The service crew (Joe & ??) arrived within an hour. Friendly and professional, they fixed the problem, and left. I would hire them again, and recommend them heartily.

Kevin showed up early (called to see it this was ok). Checked every drain, pipe, faucet and toilet in our house. Even went outside to check that there wasnt a leak underground. He was also the first person I've ever used that did not fear out dogs. He respected them in their home and they in turn appreciated him. While price seemed high he was so professional and good with my father (who is ederly and he treated him very respectfully) His professionalism outweighed the cost.

We called Plumber Mikes and they had a technician there the next day to give us an estimate. He not only arrived on time but called when he was within 1/2 hour just to let us know. He seemed very experienced and quickly came to a conclusion about what he thought needed to be done and what it would cost. He carefully explained what the estimate included and what the alternatives and additional costs might be if the old underground pipes turned out to be worse then expected. The first day was exploratory and uncovered the old pipes. They were careful to try to schedule the actual replacement so that people would not be without water and sewer for more then a few hours. After a long first day they were very good about cleaning up as best they could and putting caution tape up over the sawed trench in the concrete. Lonny called me and said it looked like he was going to have to go quite a bit further and gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate. A few days after it was all fixed and cleaned up, Lonny told us that he didn't have to go quite as far as he first thought and therefore took quite a bit off his estimate. ( I probably wouldn't have known the difference if they hadn't been honest ). In the end Plumber Mikes did a very professional job and their price was most reasonable compared to others that looked at the job. I've had a lot of bad experiences with southern Florida contractors but this wasn't one of them. I would definitely recommend these guys for a pretty big job like this and they'll be my first call in the future.

I called Plumber Mike's phone number approximately 15minutes before the office closed and told them that the main waterline to the house was seeping. I was expecting to have it fixed the following day, but they had a crew in the shop at that time. The person I spoke with asked the crew if they could take the call and they said they could. About 45 minutes later they were at the house. The crew was friendly and professional in appearance and performance. They were finished in about an hour. Everything went much better than I had expected. I would definitely use the services of Plumber Mike's again.

They had to reschedule because they had another job but they showed up on time for the appointment. They were very friendly and he worked until he found the problem and he solved it.

I woke up early in the morning about 5:30am to find water leaking from the upstairs bathroom/toilet down into the side wall of the kitchen. After frantically struggling to get the water source to the house turned off and impatiently waiting till normal business hours to find a plumber, I placed a call to this plumber. In less than an hour two plumbers arrived at my home. They were professional, friendly and courteous. They immediately got to work to diagnose the problem. They told me where they believe the leakage was, but off course I was hesitant because I was sure the leak was coming from the tub or somewhere else. Anyway, I allowed them to proceed with their plan. Once the toilet was removed and the drywall was cut, there it was, water leaking out of the pipe just as they had said. They were right on the money with their expertise. They even checked the other bathroom to make sure there was no leakage and actually found a Stop in the downstairs bathroom that needed repairing, which they also did. They did a through all clean-up after and the cost was as they had told me. I will no doubt use this company again when other plumbing needs arise at my home and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. A job well done. Thank you.

They came on time. They located the problem, which others before had not done properly. They fixed the problem at a reasonable cost. It was a wonderful experience and they were very pleasant.

These guys are great! We had to cut off the water to the house because the PVC connection to the meter cracked on our side of the meter and the city wouldn't take responsiblility even though they changed out the meter prior to the leak! I called Plumber Mike's at 8am and by 11:30am the pipe was repaired and our water was back on. Very professional, very neat...great service!

They charge a high service call fee. And on the contrary to their claim that they would not charge extra for emergency or after-hours work, they wanted to charge a higher service fee to give an estimate even if they came after 5 or on the weekend when I could be home! Obviously, they are not eager to get more jobs.

Great experience. Came out on short notice, very nice people, and so far, no problems. Installation was quick and professional.
