Although Mike informed me he was extremely busy he fit me into his schedule within a week from looking at the job. Showed up as promised, fixed the problem, and left the job site clean. I felt the price was reasonable based on needing to cut the cement to get to the broken pipe.

I am super angry- They knew of my situation since approx 5:30 pm and then waited patiently (using public bathrooms while in pain from the surgery) since 8 pm. I find them TOTALLY inconsiderate! They provide 24 hour service and did not even bother to call back. Why couldn't the owner come out if no one was available to come out? Why no call back? Terrible service!

The technician arrived on time and completed the installation in the time promised. He was polite and cleaned up afterward

Excellent service from the first phone call to the last and everything in between. This was an emergency in a condo that has extremely strict rules and guidelines. Mike and his technician handled all the details from pulling the permit, checking on the existing water heater to installing the new one. Extremely efficient and capable. I was unable to be there until after the unit was already installed and the technician was in the process of finishing and cleaning up. Was not charged for all the extras that had to be taken care of in the process and his fee remained the same and was very reasonable for this job. Answered the phone promptly or returned the calls in a very timely manner and there were lots of phone calls as I could not meet with him in person. I have already recommended him to several friends who are in need of plumbing repairs of any kind. I would absolutely use his services again. Kudos to his technician who was just fabulous.

Awesome experience from start to finish! I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing. My garbage disposal was leaking water all over under my sink and onto the kitchen floor. I called and Tiffany answered. She was on the ball and had a plumber at my house in an hour! That alone was impressive. The plumber took off his shoes before entering my house. He was very polite, clean and friendly. He had a top of the line Badger garbage disposal in his truck. It was installed in about 35 minutes. Great customer service keep it up!

One of the most knowledgable and capable plumbers I've observed. Friendly and professional. Took time to explain repairs, show me how to prevent problems and maintain things myself in the future. Went the extra mile to quickly check on things that I hadn't considered to be problems, but identified economical and effective fixes immediately. The initial telephone contact was very professional. Appointment 9:30 am - arrived promptly at 9:20 am. Joe and Roger very courteous and professional. Performed work neatly and tested that it worked properly. This company merits consideration for plumbing needs. I would definetly use again.

Overall was very pleased with Mike's Plumbing. Joe was knowledgable and very nice to work with. Joe ensured that he installed every unit in the manner you wanted and informed you of everything he was doing to great detail. Joe also cleaned up everything and placed everything back where he found them. He is old school plumber that takes pride in his work. I was very pleased with Mike's Plumbing due to Joe and Mike's prices.

Very pleasant on the phone when I called. Joe was the serviceman that came out - he was right on time, took his shoes off at the door. He fixed what needed to be fixed on the toilet (replaced the water valve), and also gave me a heads up on possible future replacement needs for the plunge and also potential issues with the type of pipes used in our condo. Quick, responsive, pleasant. I have other plumbing needs in the home, and would use this company again in a heartbeat.

They scheduled someone to stop by the following day. Within an hour I got a call from one of their plumbers saying he was in the area and asked if he could stop by. He looked at the job and provided an estimate. I agreed to the amount and he scheduled a return visit the following day to do the task. He showed up on time, completed the work ahead of schedule, and reduced the amount he charged by $55, stating that the job was easier than he thought it was going to be. His workmanship and the quality of the parts he used were both excellent. I would definitely use this company again.

Had some tenants who said that the water heater was acting up and occasionally would heat the water up. Since it was about 10 years old I figured it was going to need to be replaced. They were very responsive and accomodating and willing to work around my tenant's schedule. I was actually planning to use another plumber but Mike returned a call the same morning. At about 5 minutes before appointment time, Joe the plumber they sent out called to say that he would be running a little late and be there in 10 minutes. He was very conversational and pleasant to work with. He cleaned up the place after, made some recommendations on what was needed to get the aircondition running better and whilst waiting to test the water heater he said one of the sinks were a little clogged out and leaking and volunteered to address it.

I called the company and requested a quote. I explained what I needed and was told they could not quote over the phone. I made an appointment for 10/17/12 at 9:30am. They called me at 8am and asked if they could come early. I said no problem. Whe he arrived I showed him the faucets I purchased and the bathrooms were I wanted the new faucest to go. I was shocked and horrified when he quoted me $225.00 per faucet removal and instalation. To say that was exspensive is an under statement. He then said he could go down in price to $195.00. I think he believed I was a stupid house wfe. Let me tell you he was wrong. I then asked him to leave and said his price was too high. I think he was trying to take advantage of me. I called around for a few more quotes. I was quoted around $200-$250.00 for the whole job. I will never use this company again.

We contacted Plumber Mike's about repairing a toilet at a rental property in Florida after we had a problem with a previous plumbing company. We explained to Claudette the problems we had with the other company and that we wanted her company to provide a second opinion. Claudette was very patient with us and made sure she understood the problem with the leaky toilet. She contacted the tenant to coordinate the appointment time. She sent Joe to the house to assess the problem. Joe was very friendly, professional, and competent. His manner immediately put us at ease and gave us confidence that we were dealing with a company with integrity. He explained what needed to be done to complete the repair and how long it would take to complete. He provided us with an estimate that was fair and sounded like the best course of action. He was able to quickly fix the problem to our satisfaction. The tenant was also pleased with Joe's work ethic and how well he cleaned up the area after fixing the problem. Let me start by indicating that this was a self-fix project that went terribly wrong. I had to shut the water off to the house in order to fix a water cut off for one of the toilets in the house. After I fixed the toilet I realized that no matter how much I turned the valve outside the house I could not get the water to come back on. When I told my wife that we would be without water until I could get a plumber out here to fix it she insisted I try to get someone on a SUNDAY afternoon. I called several plumbers that I found on angies list and got a couple of phone calls back. When Kevin from plumber mike called me and said he would be there in an hour I was shocked. He indicated that cutting off the old valve and putting in a new one would cost $450. I told him to come out. He arrived and I told him my sorry tale of home improvement misadventure and he just smiled and said he appreciated it when homeowners tried to do stuff themselves and that he would get the valve taken care of. After a few minutes he called me outside to show me the valve. He had gotten it apart and had it working without having to cut it out of the copper pipe. I have delt with many plumbers over the years but as long as I live in south Florida I will never use anyone but Kevin with Plumber Mike. He came out on a Sunday (missed the end of the dolphins game). Fixed my problem at a reasonable price and was utterly professional the entire time. I must start by saying that I would recommend Plumber Mike's to anyone and I will only call Mike going forward. I asked 10 friends/coworkers if they new of a good plumber and not a single one could give me a referral. I am thrilled to say that I know one now! My experience with Mike & Crew was so exceptional that it deserves an extensive review. I had a great deal of anxiety while trying to find the right person/company for the job with concerns of being taken advantage of and over charged...this is South Florida afterall and that's all you hear about. I came across Plumber Mike's here on Angie's List and I selected him for 3 primary reasons: 1) He had done a lot of work in my area, and as it turns out, a lot of work in my condo complex; 2) His reviews and pricing were decent and seemed fair respectively; and the biggest reason 3) Mike has regular weekend appointments available without charging off-hours upcharges. The latter was most important to me since it's impossible for me to get time off from work during the week and I couldn't afford any upcharges. Plumber Mike's seems to be the only one who doesn't "stick it to you" on weekends. Mike states up front that he charges by the job and not by the hour, and that's exactly how I was charged. Mike doesn't charge for travel time and he also states that his estimate is up front with no hidden charges and that was exactly what I got. I contacted Mike via his website while making an online appointment inquiry. He responded with a phone call well within the 24 hour period he promised on the website. Although there are immediate response phone numbers available on the website, I chose to do this online from work since this wasn't an emergency. Mike himself showed up for his appointment on time on Saturday morning and provided me with a basic scope of the work that needed to be done and an estimate of $900.00 all inclusive. He stated it was a 2-man job since large washer/dryer needed to be moved to replace the water heater and he would try to get a crew out that afternoon. I received a call within 2 hours scheduling for later that afternoon. Mike surprised me by showing up along with Kevin and Andre. I appreciate a small business owner who remains hands-on even though he's gotten large enough where he doesn't need to do field work. He explained that he can't do that with every job but that he was nearby. The work got done quickly and my old low end/generic water heater was replaced with a mid-level quick recovery brand name unit. I didn't need to lift a finger. I thought my shower valve was shot, but Mike pulled the valve apart and saw there was nothing wrong with it. He then removed the shower head and flushed out the pipes where he discovered that there was debris in the water line that was causing all the trouble. He changed the wax ring under my toilet with ease and that problem was solved within 5 minutes - he even regrouted around the toilet base. These other two issues were areas where I could have been taken advantage of terribly by others (and almost was had I not found Mike). The guys cleaned up after themselves and I was presented with an invoice for exactly $900.00 as promised. Simply put, Plumber Mike's is fair/reasonable, ethical, and they know what they're doing. I am now a customer for life.

They sent out an excellent, very qualified plumber. He was running a little late, but called to let me know he was running late (which is rare with most service oriented companies). Joe diagnosed and fixed my leaky sink in record time. he took his shoes off at the door and was very pleasant to work with. The price seemed a little high, but the service was worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

WE ARE NEW MEMBERS TO ANGIE'S LIST. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE CALLED A CONTRACTOR BASED ON RECOMMENDATIONS ON THIS WEBSITE. THE RESULT? WE ARE SO GLAD WE JOINED. IT WAS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AT @ 1:00PM WHEN OUR KITHCEN SINK BACKED UP & WOULD NOT DRAIN EVEN AFTER PLUNGING REPEATEDLY. I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD BE A LONG WAIT FOR A PLUMBER, NOT TO MENTION COST AN ARM AND A LEG SINCE IT WAS A SUNDAY DURING A HOLIDAY WEEKEND! I WAS WRONG ON BOTH COUNTS. I CALLED PLUMBER MIKES AND HE SAID SOMEONE WOULD BE THERE IN ABOUT A HALF HOUR. SURE ENOUGH, LESS THAN 1/2 AN HOUR LATER JOE WAS KNOCKING ON OUR DOOR. WHAT A NICE MAN! HE SNAKED OUT OUR DRAIN AND HAD US UP AND RUNNING WITHIN ONE HOUR OF THE CLOG OCCURRING! AND, BEING USED TO WORKMEN WHO COME INTO THE HOUSE AND THROW TOOLS OR CLIPBOARDS ON WOODEN FURNITURE OR NEW APPLIANCES, WE WERE SO PLEASED TO SEE A MAN WHO RESPECTED OUR HOUSE AS IF IT WAS HIS OWN. WE HAVE A NEW PLUMBING COMPANY! WE WILL ALWAYS USE PLUMBER MIKES AND WE WILL ALWAYS REQUEST JOE. THANKS JOE, THANKS PLUMBER MIKES AND THANKS ANGIE'S LIST. Very responsive although pricing seemed unstructured and based more upon what the individual plumber wanted to charge verse company structured pricing. Additionally, when we called to discuss pricing concerns were dismissed and not taken seriously. Most importantly, it seemed as though the work recommended was centered on what would be the greatest cost, not the simplest approach to solving the problem.

.Overall, this was a positive experience. While not the cheapest, I think the pricing was fair. They were extremely responsive and even though there was a problem, they came right back out and took care of it. I will be using them again. I would highly recommend.
