Mr Clean Services

We are quite happy with their service. This is the second time we've used them. They are very thorough and we found the price reasonable. They send in a team and are able to complete the work very fast.

The first step was to have Pedro come out for my estimate. He was very thorough and as we went through the house, he made sure to ask about what I wanted done in each room. I explained I was nervous about having someone in the house to clean as we had a bad experience with someone who stole from us some years ago. Pedro was very reassuring, and said that his workers were either known to him or other workers and were trustworthy, and said that I did not have to worry about anything - his only goal was to make me very happy with their work. It really seemed to come from his heart and he made reference to all the nice comments here on Angies List that are attached to his company (he's clearly very proud of his good ratings!). When the 3 ladies appeared on the 1st scheduled morning, they were accompanied by Pedro and Caroline (owners) and Pedro's assistant. Everyone was very pleasant, and got right to work. Caroline and Pedro made sure to get everyone moving in the right direction and after a time, the management team left the ladies to do their cleaning magic. Everything went quite well - one worker found a few dollars in the spare room and we made jokes about how rich I was now - and I even felt comfortable enough to run to the drug store to pick up a prescription in the afternoon. When I returned and went into the bedroom to put away my purchase, I noticed that a $10 bill that was in a small basket on the dresser was missing. I was upset, as I had talked about this type issue with both Pedro and Silvia (the team leader). I spoke privately with Silvia about the loss, and to her credit, she made sure that I was sure about my facts (I was) and then she spoke with the other 2 ladies almost immediately. One of the ladies even offered for me to look in her purse (no!) for the $10. Silvia then called Caroline, who returned to my house with her assistant to hear exactly what had happened. They all appeared troubled that this had been discovered and assured me that they would reimburse the $10. It's not really the $10, it's the trust issue that it presents was my biggest concern. The last few hours of the day were a bit more subdued and passed without further problems. The next day they arrived (early!) - but one of the 3 ladies had been replaced with another (with no explaination). After working for an hour or two, Silvia called me over - she had found $10 in the dining room. I told her I appreciated it and I considered the matter closed. Had this not happened, I would have rated this company straight A's. I was very conflicted on how to rate them, as overall, I was quite satisfied with the cleaning services provided, and how personable and professional they all were. 9/17 * UPDATE: I WOULD LIKE TO NOTE THAT PEDRO HAD BEEN AWAY DURING MY WEEKEND CLEANING AND HAS APPARENTLY RETURNED & BEEN INFORMED ABOUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED. WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME ON THE PHONE YESTERDAY; PEDRO MOST EARNESTLY AND EMPHATICALLY WANTED ME TO UNDERSTAND THAT ALL OF HIS "LADIES" (as he calls them) ARE KNOWN & RECOMMENDED TO HIM AND HE HAS NEVER EXPERIENCED A PROBLEM LIKE THIS. HE IS VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF HIS SERVICE AND THE INTEGRITY OF HIS STAFF AND I DO NOT THINK FOR ONE MOMENT THAT HE IS JUST TRYING TO PACIFY ME, I GENUINELY DO BELIEVE THAT HE IS COMMITED TO PROVIDING GREAT AND TRUSTWORTHY SERVICE TO HIS CLIENTS (can you tell I really liked Pedro?). I WOULD LIKE TO AMMEND MY RATING TO STATE THAT PERHAPS (and I want to preface this with I do not mean this to be culturally insensitive in any way, shape or form) THAT SINCE HIS LADIES ARE OF LATIN HERITAGE AND MAY NOT COOMUNICATE AS WELL IN ENGLISH AS SPANISH, THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM WITH WHO EVER FOUND THE $10 NOT JUST CALLING OUT TO SAY, OH HERE IT IS. IT MAY BE THAT THEY WERE HESITANT TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES, OR THOUGHT I WOULD MAKE A PROBLEM FOR THEM, SINCE THEY MAY HAVE HAD A HARD TIME EXPLAINING THEMSELVES. I AM AT LEAST CERTAINLY OPEN TO THINKING THIS WAY, AND I REALLY DID QUITE LIKE EVERYONE THAT I DEALT WITH. I APPRECIATE THAT PEDRO TOOK THE TIME TO TOUCH BASE WITH ME, AND REALLY REALLY REALLY CARED ABOUT HIS RATING AND WHAT HAD HAPPENED. THIS IS UNFORTUNATELY ALL TOO RARE IN THIS DAY AND AGE AND FOR THAT ATTITUDE I DO APPLAUD HIM.

They were great. Pedro met me to give an estimate a few days after my initial call and he was able to set it up for the same week on the day before the move. The staff arrived and went to work immediately. They started a 8:30 and didn't finish until 7 that night with only a short break for lunch. They cleaned literally everything in the townhouse - all the air conditionoing vents, all the shelving in the closets, the bathrooms, the appliances, the screens and windows, all the light fixtures. the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator - I could go on and on. There were 3 people working all the time plus Pedro and Henry came and went. The cleaning personnel were very professional, pleasant and they worked very hard. I will definitely use them again. We were very pleased and would highly recommend them.

The best cleaning experience we've ever had!! There was no worry about finishing any details or any additional cleaning after they left because the place was spotless!! We were in the process of moving into the home when they were cleaning and they were very professional. The owner told us that they "clean from the heart" and that statement was the truth. Pride was taken in all cleaning tasks from all members of the team. Everything shined when they were finished. I felt the need to clean all of our belongings before I put them away in our sparkling new home!! I am a picky cleaner and this company exceeded my expectations.

After reading the positive feedback on Angie's list I decided to use Pedro and Carolina. I can only attest to what others have said/written. They spent almost 4 entire days and anywhere between 8 to 11 hours per day to give my house a super in-depth cleaning. All their staff is nice and efficient. Since everything went so well, I decided to use them for regular weekly cleanings as well.

Pedro was very responsive to our call and showed up on tiime. He went through the house with his employees making sure they knew what needed to be done and what to pay special attention to.

One of the things I do upon visiting my daughter in Florida isto treat her to having her place cleaned. She had moved since the last time I was there, and not very happy with the last person who cleaned for her, I joined Angie's List and found Pedro and The Magic Touch. From the first phone call to Pedro, I knew I had found the right person. Pedro came out to do an estimate the day I called and booked me for the very next day. We discussed what needed to be done, keeping in mind that my daughter's place had never been professionally cleaned since she bought it in December and we are now in July! He went over the list of what to expect from top to bottom - nothing was left out - even the slats that cover the air conditioning filter in the ceiling. His team of three wonderful, professional ladies came out with Pedro the next day and did an incredible job - I have never seen anything like it. Everything nook and cranny sparkled. My daughter was thrilled to say the least, when she got home from work that evening. She is now going to have Pedro and his team clean her place permanently. Not only were the ladies so very nice, they helped me when I got stung by a bee! I highly recommend Pedro and his team to anyone who wants the job done right. Not only is he a very nice person who treats you like a queen, he and his team went above and beyond my expecations.

I contacted Pedro after reviewing all the reports on Angie's list and he came over to give me an estimate about 30 minutes after I spoke with him. He was professional, friendly and very thorough as he went through the house with me evaluating the work that needed to be done. He and his crew (which included his wife) returned one week later to do the job. After 3 long days of non-stop cleaning, I have the pleasure of being in my house knowing that every square inch of my house inside and out is clean! I will be using Magic Touch to perform biweekly maintenance. I have used other cleaners before and have never experienced such excellent and thorough service as I have with Magic Touch.

We had written a glowing, A+ review here of Magic Touch a year ago, and had hired them for their services twice after that, and were extremely impressed. Now, a year later, I brought them back before a guest was scheduled to arrive. When they provided the estimate, they told me my house was very clean and organized and just needed a good dusting and floor-cleaning. They estimated it would take two people 5 hours to do this. (I found this a bit excessive for an 1700 sq. ft. house, but figured I wanted the place impeccably clean for my guest's arrival, so accepted it. I also specifically requested that they clean the windows and refrigerator, as well as the baseboards.) A friend was at my house and let me know two hours after their scheduled arrival time that they still weren't there. They hadn't called. I called them. They arrived 30 minutes after my call. When I got home after they had left, I found that the refrigerator had barely been touched, the baseboards still had dust on them, windowsills were dirty, there were still spots on the floor, as well as a host of other things that clearly had not been touched. I don't think my are expectations are unreasonable, but for 5 hours and $160, I hoped for better. Disappointing. Especially given my exceptionally good experience with them last year. I won't be calling again.

It's a little pricey but worth it for the quality. They do a great job! They area thorough with their cleaning and honest to deal with.

Overall, everything went well. Peter arrived on time with three very nice young ladies who went to work right away. They removed and cleaned all items on the shelves. The bookshelves were a special challenge and they did a better job than I would have. All of the furniture was pulled out, areas vacuumed and then scrubbed. They also cleaned and rearranged the inside of my refrigerator, which I especially appreciated because they relocated the shelves in a way that made the space more efficient. Nice job! They cleaned the blinds, washed the windows, cleaned away the wall dust, organized my spices, and even brought some expired canned goods to my attention. We threw those out. Basically, everything Peter said they would do was done and even more - the refrigerator was a pleasant surprise. I appreciated their attention to detail and positive attitudes. At times I worked in the same room with them. I took down my curtains and put them in the wash. The women were warm and friendly with each other and with me. I also had my sons come over and help me move some furniture, near the end of the cleaning. Even during this time, they offered suggestions (I asked them) and continued to be very helpful. I would definitely recommend the services of this company to others and I plan to continue using them myself.

The whole experience was professional from the initial visit for estimates...(Job came in under estimate). The staff arrived promptly on time, the worked non-stop and the final result was spectacular! I will highly recommend this company to everyone!

Pedro and his team are doing an excellent job of cleaning my 2 bedroom apartment. I've used him twice now and plan on using him a lot more. I've entrusted him with my key. His crew comes in to my apartment while I'm at work and ensure it is spotless by the time I get home. So far he's had 2 girls come by both times for 2 hours. Pedro is great! I highly recommend him.

I would totally do the deep clean again. It's pricey - no doubt, but worth the price. I would have the deep clean first and then again every year, then have the regular cleanings in between. The service is very proffesional, prompt and proactive. The pricing is very upfront as well, no surprises there. I'm very happy I called them - I would have never gotten around to doing such a level of cleaning as good as they did. Great job.

I cannot express how absolutely pleased I was by the service provided. I called Pedro on a Friday afternoon. That night, he came to my home to evaluate the extent of the work to be done and to provide an estimate. The next day Pedro's team of ladies came to my home to conduct a "deep cleaning" and left my house spotless and sparkling clean. The degree of thoroughness and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely use them again.

We first called Magic Touch because we had purchased a foreclosure in Weston that was in desparate need of some TLC. The house was filthy and had not been occupied in over a year. Magic touch returned my call same day and came out to our home the following day to provide an estimate for a "deep clean." I had no idea of what this meant and the service well exceeded my expectations for the price. The team of 3 spent 2 days straight (working 9 hours a day) to get my new house in tip-top shape. They cleaned everything from kitchen cabinets (inside and out) to woodwork, windows (inside and out), bedroom closet wire shelving, inside the refrigerator, etc....To this day, we still use the team every week and our house has never been so clean! We spend approx $120/wk for our 4,000sq ft home.

This is my second review. The initial review was "A" and has now been deleted. In the beginning when Pedro and Caroline would personally come to clean our 4 bedroom, 2 bath house, the work was excellent. As they became busier and hired more people, the work began to slip. It finally got the point where there were new people coming at every cleaning and the cleanings were just not good. When I expressed my concerns to Pedro, he promised that either he or Caroline would personally come to clean my house or supervise the crew. This didn't happen consistently. I work from home so I am here to see who shows up, when they show up, etc. When I reminded him about it, he apologized and said they are just too busy to be able to come personally anymore. He also explained how difficult it is to find quality people to do this kind of work and that is why there were new people every time. Whatever the reasons, I wasn't comfortable with the parade of newcomers every time and the language barrier in trying to explain how to do things. There was damage to several items in our house including *all* of the bronze faucet fixtures that they scrubbed with Comet. They scrubbed the finish off of some of them and voided the warranty on all of them (see pics). I see this sort of thing as a lack of quality training and I suspect that Pedro and Caroline have been overwhelmed trying to keep up with the flow of new clients from Angie's list. Pedro offered to fix the faucets a couple of times, but never followed up to actually do the work. Pedro offered to ensure I would get the "same crew" on several occasions, but it never panned out. There were always new people coming through and I just got tired of asking him about it, complaining about the damaged things, the poor quality cleanings, etc. I think this is a case of a good company growing faster than they can handle. I finally gave up and am now using another cleaning service.

Pedro and his crew were excellent throughout this whole process. We purchased an older home from an estate where the elderly owners had died. No one had lived in the house for a year. The crew cleaned out all the left over debris, insects and rodent droppings, and gave a general cleaning. After remodeling was completed, the crew cleaned all the accumulated dust and debris. Just before move-in, they cleaned everything top to bottom, all the cabinets inside and out, wiped down all the woodwork, washed all the windows, and polished all the mirrors. Pedro and his crew were punctual, professionally performed everything requested, and all at a fair price. What more can you ask for? Gene Simmons

They are doing a really good job. They are friendly and I don't have to worry about them. They are thorough and don't just do a surface job.

Overall it was a good experience. They got to my house just about on time with all their own cleaning products. Everything got off to a good start until one of the women sprayed oven cleaner into my SELF cleaning oven. I'm glad I caught it before she sprayed the whole oven and they had to stop and wipe it all off. The helpers don't speak english and they don't read anything so mistakes like that happen. There were a couple of other small issues due to the language problem. The best thing to do is dicuss any special needs with Pedro ahead of time so there are no misunderstandings. The problem is knowing what those things may be. It took them longer to do the work than I thought it would since the house was empty but they did a great job on most things and I would hire them again. There is one thing that all cleaning companies do that they all need to stop doing is using those disgusting, dirty mops that just carry the dirt from one room and one house to another.

I called Magic Touch on Friday, and Pedro came out to inspect the house and give us an estimate. We made an appointment for the house to be cleaned the next day. On Saturday morning he arrived exactly on time with the two ladies who will now be cleaning our house every week. Pedro actually showed them around and instructed them, with our feedback, regarding the specifics we had discussed the evening before, such as the method we prefer for furniture polishing etc. He returned when they were finished to inspect the job and make certain that we were completely satisfied. They did an excellent job, and we made plans to continue on a weekly basis. The price above includes the Angie's List coupon for new clients

We were very impressed with the amount of work they did and continue to do. Pedro and the team are very professional and always arrive on time. They go above and beyond and are always willing to do little things that other companies wouldn't do. The prices are very reasonable.

Pedro was prompt and thorough in this evaluation of time and cost of the top to bottom cleaning of our new home. His crew showed up on time and spent three days making our home sparkle. It was clear throughout the process that their priority was our satisfaction, and a spotless home. We were more than pleased with the overall experience and highly recommend Magic Touch Cleaning, Inc.

Outstanding work--courteous,meticulous, friendly. They are in a category all by themselves. I recommend them without any reservations and with enthusiasm.
