Mr Clean Services

I can't say enough positive about Pedro, his staff, and the work that they do. First, Pedro came out in person to my home to give me an estimate approximately a week before the actual cleaning. My house really needed cleaning but Pedro worked diligently with me to keep costs down while also addressing the areas (floors, windows, blinds) that really needed attention. He and his crew showed up on time and when they were done the house literally sparkled. They worked quickly and thoroughly with little to no breaks; they finished an hour ahead of the estimated time and I was not charged for that last hour that they didn't need. I intend to hire Mr. Clean to come and clean my home on a regular basis and would recommend their services to anyone.

The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. It is really hard to find a reliable Pedro is very responsible and very punctuate.

They arrived as scheduled and did a complete professional cleaning. They are scheduled for next month and I plan on continuing the monthly service if they continue to do a good job.

.Very responsive to phone and e-mail when setting up this service. Arrived on time with all necessary equipment. The supervisor introduced the 3 young women then left them on their own. They immediately got to work doing a deep and through cleaning of the bathrooms, kitchen, all built in furniture, and windows. They were here 6 hrs. and never stopped working. As they worked themselves out the front door, they ever ran a damp mop over the tile entrance! These employees are truly lovely young women who work very hard. They should be commended for doing a wonderful job. I would have no doubts about recommending to others. I will keep their number for future use.

this is an amendment to a previous review. I just had a very unpleasant and rude experience with the owner of this company (carolina, the wife). I have been using mr. clean services for about a year now -- from the time the business was under a different name in angie's list. Pedro is usually very attentive, has good customer service and helps address issues when they arise. However, during the last 4 cleanings things started to go downhill with the ladies that were sent to my home. They showed up complaining about being tired, dragging, not wanting to clean but worst of all was the infighting between the two women. the last incident they were screaming at the top of their lungs at each other and continually calling the management office to complain about each other. one lady took 1.5 hours to clean my daughter's small bathroom ...which was one reason they were fighting. they didn't do it in front of me, it was captured on home video. it finally culminated in one of the ladies slipping h****** the wet floor in the middle of their verbal fighting. she was ok but that day one of the bathrooms was not cleaned and the floor was left dirty. I called to voice my concerns for the poor professionalism and the unfinished job and the receptionist apologized and said they would send me new girls next time. i never heard from Pedro this time even though the situation certainly warranted that something be done to remedy the situation and i asked them to call me. Today (2/5/15) the new girls arrived. they did a good job cleaning but there was a serious miscommunication with Pedro's wife Carolina about the hours and the price. This is not a new issue, i have expressly stated (to pedro) that whatever cleaning is going to be done has to be in the time frame to allot for the $110 price that Pedro agreed to. Even if something doesn't get cleaned. At the time of payment the ladies said that the amount was insufficient for the time they were there and if the office had called me to clarify the new payment. No one had called me so I called and spoke to Carolina, Pedro's wife. She said he was out of town...didn't know what arrangement we had but that it was not enough to cover her expenses and that i needed to cover the amount to include an additional hour and pay $149. i explained over and over that that was not my arrangement with Pedro and their company and they cannot just show up and change an agreement and payment without first getting the client to agree...especially with the unfinished job from the last cleaning. basically she said too bad and started to get nasty on the phone. she was so rude and unpleasant that i ended up having to hang up on her as i was not going to subject myself to that. what poor professionalism, customer service and way to treat a long time client. I paid the $149 because the cleaning ladies were not at fault in this situation but i will never use them again. This is what happens when business owners do not communicate with each other and when one lacks the common sense and customer service skills to deal with clients. 5/18/15 i just read the companies reply and it is incorrect. I have many months of old checks to prove that our agreement was for $110, not any other amount. I did not request any additional work from the girls. they were told that they were to do the work in the allotted time. It was their miscommunication with Pedro's wife that resulted in the problems. I have no ill will against this company and I do think that when Pedro is in town and running things they run better but I also cannot condone a company lying about what happened.

The were great. Communication with Pedro and Victoria was terrific. Their team showed up on time and were very attentive to detail. One thing to note, you may want to get the price in writing as it varied a little from what was discussed but as they delivered what was expected I did not mind. Additionally, Pedro went out of his way to make it up to me on another job. I am currently and fully intend to continue using their services. It is hard to find people in thier industry that are professional.

Pedro responded right away after I purchased the Angie's List coupon. They wanted to send someone to evaluate our cleaning needs and see if they could do what I wanted done in the time allotted. After briefly glimpsing the layout of the house without actually going into each room the evaluator tol me I needed to purchase 2 more hours. I told her I was not going to do that and I wanted them to do what they could in the time allotted. At first she said they would not do the basic cleaning I asked for and said they only do deep cleaning because they have their reputation to consider. I told her I did not want the inside of my stove or refrigerator cleaned. I wanted a basic cleaning. The evaluator was argumentative and continued to try to get me to spend more money and buy more time. She kept repeating that they couldn't do the job in the time allotted. I have a 3 bedroom 2 bath 2,000 sq. ft. home. I told her they didn't need to clean the bedrooms. It seemed to me that two women should be able to do a basic cleaning of the remaining roughly 1300 sq ft in four hours. I felt very frustrated and told her that either they did the work I wanted or I wanted a refund. She agreed to my request although she made it clear she disapproved and wasn't happy to have my business. I paid for 2 women to work for 4 hours. Three women showed up and wanted to leave after 2 hours. They had cleaned more than I had asked them to and they finished early. This makes me think I was right in thinking that the woman who evaluated my cleaning needs was just trying to get me to spend more money. I asked them to clean something else for another 1/2 hour and it took them about 15 minutes. I let them go early. Again feeling frustrated. At our initial meeting the evaluator told me that I would be charged an additional $50 for cleaning supplies unless I supplied what they needed. I told her I would provide the supplies and asked her to send me a list so I could purchase anything I didn't have. She could have sent me the list via Angie's List but she asked for my personal e-mail. I provided it 2 days in advance of the appointment but they didn't send me the list. The night before the appointment I sent an e-mail canceling the cleaning appointment and said I would reschedule after I received the list. 50 minutes after their appointment time they arrived at the wrong address, called me and asked me to give them the gate code to let them in. The woman who called me didn't understand English well enough to understand when I told her (3 times) that they were at the wrong address. She just kept asking me to let them in. Very frustrating. I asked to speak to someone who understood English better. She said she did....but did let me speak to someone else. I told that woman that I had canceled the appointment and that I didn't know if I had the cleaning supplies they needed. She ignored my request to cancel and asked me if I had the generic basics and I told her I did. She said that would be sufficient and sent the women anyway. After that phone call I noticed that I had received an e-mail at 10:30 a.m. with the list of cleaning supplies. Not enough time for me to get what I needed. Also, the list indicated that they wanted me to buy the type of mop and bucket they use. I already own a mop and bucket and was not about to buy more. The women who came were pleasant but didn't speak English well and needed to use a Google translator to communicate sometimes. Before leaving the cleaning women asked to be paid. They had not been told I had paid in advance with an Angie's coupon. This was a very frustrating experience and I would not hire this company again.

I hired Mr. Clean because the company received so many "A" reviews on Angie's list. After using them myself, I don't see how this is possible. The unit I hired them to clean was an empty unit that needed post-construction cleaning. The owner, Pedro, came to the unit and gave me an estimate. He saw exactly what needed to be done. The expectation was that the unit would be in move-in condition when the cleaning of the unit and windows was done. The 3 workers arrived late. One of them kept disappearing during the course of the day. They did not have the proper equipment with them for a professional post-construction cleaning. The job included cleaning the windows, yet they didn't bring a squeegee, they didn't bring a vacuum cleaner to remove the debris from the tracks of the sliding glass door, nor did they bring the proper cleaner for the glass top stove. (I provided cleaner and sponge for that job). After one hour in the unit they had broken a ceiling fan globe and lost the shelf holders in a brand new medicine chest. After 6 hours, the windows were still filthy, there were still shards of glass on the floor from the broken ceiling fan globe, the handles of the kitchen cabinets were sticky and the top of the stove was still dirty. The paint spatters had not been removed from the bathroom fixtures or the floors. I paid them half and asked them to leave. None of the crew spoke English, so it was very difficult to communicate with them. I tried several times throughout the day to address the situation by phone with the owner, who was extremely rude and flat out refused to come to the job site to address my concerns. (I also did not appreciate him repeatedly calling me "honey"). This company should not advertise themselves as professional post-construction cleaners, because they are not capable of that level of work.

They were great. We didn't pay an additional amount. They are reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking. The cost was great.

Service provider called and wanted to schedule an appointment to give estimate for the cost of the cleaning services and then wanted to discuss extra costs that they believed would be incurred even though they had not even seen the property. The space is a about 1200 sq feet in size. It has a brand new floor and every painted surface was just repainted. There was in fact very little cleaning that would have been required since the appliances had also been cleaned and needed no attention. It should not take more than four hours to clean a space that is that size and in its present condition. This was simply a rip-off.

They were lovely to work with. They did a really good job after the fire and construction.

The crew that we were sent did a great job. Everything was cleaned and looked like new. It all turned out better than I could have imagined. I would definitely use them again.

Awesome! The crew has just left and I'm really happy with how things look! Sparkling and clean and beautiful. They spent 5 hours here and really did an amazing job. Pedro is a great guy, very friendly and personable and made sure everything was done to his satisfaction and I'm not kidding when I say he'd run his finger along baseboards, door frames, etc. etc. looking for mistakes! He wouldn't let the team finish until there was nothing left unclean. Will use them going forward for regular cleanings! I doubt anyone is going to give you the level of detail and thorough cleaning this company does!

The team that came to give us an estimate asked what we needed and volunteered to clean the slatted doors, etc. I didn't buy a deal on Angie's List because I didn't want to limit them to a set number of hours. The house was filthy from the move, but they got it all cleaned. They cleaned the blinds, windowsills, inside closets, all of it.

I am sorry it has taken so long to write this review!! I had all the bathrooms in my home completely renovated for about a month. I was staying at my moms house during the time of the construction because my daughter is very asthmatic and could not be in the house during construction. Unfortunately that meant that for basically a month I was not able to clean or pick up after the construction people. When the bathrooms were complete I was left with a MESS! There was that white construction dust EVERYWHERE!! Now I like to clean and always maintain my house but this was just too much a job. I had seen the reviews for this company and was impressed by their clients responses. So I decided to contact them. Pedro was very responsive and answered my call right away. He decided to go to my house to do an estimate. I was not able to be there but he still went and the construction people let him in. When he called me back to let me know the estimated price I have to say I was in shock. $900! I was like wow, that's a lot. But he said I really needed it, its very dusty in the house and that I needed a deep deep clean. I told him I would talk it over with my husband. After speaking to my husband and mother about it, they both were in agreement that I needed the house to be cleaned right, especially for my daughter, I couldn't take any chances. So I called Pedro and agreed to the payment and we set up a date. The crew showed up earlier than expected, which was great and they showed up with 5 cleaning people! I was like wow they should be able to finish quickly, boy was I wrong. As I said before Pedro advised that I get a deep cleaning. Honestly I did not know exactly what that entailed. I couldn't believe everything that the crew was doing. I literally had one person assigned to my daughters room, another to my sons room, two ladies in my master and one lady in my kitchen. They were all in there for hours cleaning every square inch of the rooms! The ladies in my master even cleaned out my closet, which I did not know was part of the "deep" cleaning. Even all my drawers, which was great because I was able to throw away so many things and organize all the drawers. They cleaned everything and were so helpful. The lady in the kitchen cleaned everything, every cabinet, every drawer. All my appliances were sparkling and they cleaned and went through my fridge and freezer and threw away everything old and expired since I hadn't been there in a month. I was completely floored of how much they cleaned. One of the gentlemen cleaning literally left my sliding glass doors and tracks spotless as if they were brand new. It was incredible. They were there for almost 12 hours! and the entire time they cleaned, and only took about a 15 minute lunch break and they were back to work. I can honestly say I am very picky and love to clean, and I was impressed on how detailed they were. Right before they were done, Pedro came by to inspect the house. He put gloves on and went thru the entire house checking doors and walls to make sure not an ounce of dust was on there. It was great to see that for the amount of money I paid, they truly cared about doing a good job. I am currently building a new home and I can guarantee that I will be calling Pedro and his team to come and do my cleanings after construction. I was very impressed with their time and dedication and I truly appreciate how detailed they were especially knowing how fragile my daughter is. Thank you all again!! The money spent was truly worth it!

Victoria (Receptionist) was so pleasant and efficient and Pedro was extremely accommodating as, I had to change the date 3x because of construction delays. Pedro and his staff were 45 minutes late but I can't fault them because I kept changing the time...I know they did their very best to take care of me and were very understanding about my situation...AND...because they were running late, he added another worker to the team to make up for the time lost; they were wonderful from beginning to end. Post-construction is never fun and the workers were very efficient and detailed. Pedro even adjusted the price he quoted me 'down' because they finished sooner than expected...integrity...a rare find these days. :) Definitely would recommend them and will use them again.

All work was completed as expected. Pedro and his wife Carolina were very nice and helped us clean the house in short notice. We will use them again

Pedro came out two days before to look over our home and provide an estimate. he pointed out many areas that our previous housekeeper missed and assured me that everything would be clean when they were done. On cleaning day they arrived early with three people plus Pedro came as well to assist. They worked hard even moving the refrigerator to clean behind it. When they were done we were extremely pleased with the results. The price was exactly what we had agreed upon. After this very thorough cleaning we will have them come back on a regular basis for routine cleaning. They did a great job and earned my future business.

I was appreciative when they decided to do the job in just a day of advance notice. This job was a particular cleaning job which they took on graciously and professionally. They provided a deep clean and stayed until the job was done and made sure we were satisfied.

We had scheduled a time to do the service but I realized neither my wife nor I would be able to make that timing work. We had to cancel, and I spoke with Victoria, who was very polite and professional. Even though we didn't use the service, it was a very pleasant experience with the company.

A crew of 6 people came and cleaned everything. Windows (inside and outside), floors, kitchen (including inside of cabinets), bathrooms, vents, fans dusted, etc. Literally every square inch. It took over 12 hours, but nothing was left undone. They brought all the supplies and equipment. However, communication was difficult, as only one person knew "some" English. I am now using them every two weeks for maintenance cleaning. So far, very good.
