I was very shocked to see a company on Angie's List would actually say something like that .and that was literally the first place that I called and I have signed up for 10 minutes

I called these guys to see about an estimate. The woman on the phone was rude and said they are not taking any work for months and she hung up on me. The courteous thing to do would have been to suggest someone else and - of course - not to hang up on me. Don't bother with these guys. Typical unprofessional south florida nonsense.

I think they're very honest. They really care about the work. They do an excellent job. The job has been really spectacular. They're very friendly. I think they care about their work and how they do it. It's one of the best companies I've work with. They work very hard. The work is done meticulously. They threw in little extras. They keep in touch with you about what's going on with the job. They clean up after themselves. They have very qualified people.

So far all is going great. Great people to work with. Does what he says. Great person. Kitchen gutted, cabinets ordered, plumbing almost done.

It went excellent and we could not be happier. Eamon told us he was very busy and it would take a couple of weeks to get out for a quote and a couple more weeks to do the quote. It was well worth the wait as we spent 6 months interviewing contractors before selecting Living Earth and we are so happy we did! The kitchen looks awesome and everyone who comes in and sees it is truly amazed, even the city inspectors. I really can't stress enough how happy we were with their work. Anytime we needed anything, Eamon or a member of his staff was right on it. Go with Living Earth an you will not be disappointed, trust me. Eamon also has a top notch formeman, Rick, who was on top of everything. My wife never had check on anything and it was a true pleasure doing business with LE.

Everything went very well. We are very pleased with the results. The few bits and pieces we were not happy with were promptly straightened after we called Eamon. He was great, very responsive and considerate. Great person as well. Because of using his services we got 40% off in the shop of Wool Plumbing. We would happily use his services again.

After leaving two messages, one on a machine and one with a secretary, I was told I would receive a call by the end of the week to set up an appointment for a quote on a bathroom remodel. That was on a Tuesday. It is now over a week and still no call back. After reading other reviews on this company, it would seem that returning phone calls is an issue. As the initial appointment is the easiest part of the entire remodeling job, it's scary that these guys couldn't even get that right.

I received a prompt call back the next day (submitted request on Friday night). The owner walked me through the process and asked lots of questions. He was more than happy to work late to accommodate my work schedule. Due to a limited budget for this project, I opted not to waste his time getting a quote, as I was able to gather enough information to know that they would be out of my price range.

I left a message with a "secretary" No one ever called me back. That's typical for So. Florida.

Promissed to come and give an estimate. Never came or called to let us know they aren't comming. Not proffesional !

I had never hired a General Contractor before, I chose Living Earth Remodelers due to their glowing reviews on AL and they definitely lived up to all the hype. We got to work directly with Eamon the companies owner, he was very friendly, professional, and honest with us he was also very very patient always called me back or returned my hundreds of texts and worked with us on the complexities of dealing with insurance companies.. When we were ready to start Eamons' men called to schedule the appointments immediately, each and every one of them were friendly, responsible and most of all did EXCELLENT work!! Rick, Eamons foreman was always available and tried to accommodate us with whatever we needed. When something wasn't right or needed fixing Rick would always come right back out and take care of whatever it was. The painting was done by Roger he helped us choose the perfect colors and did a beautiful job ! All of the other projects were done just as professionally and I had no complaints with any of them. I'm very happy we chose to hire a contractor and Living Earth would be the first one I would call for any other remodeling ventures we might take, and I would recommend them to all my family and friends.

Called this company to get a quote on a substantial remodel to our home. The receptionist told me that they were not taking any new jobs until next year. Since it's almost November, I said that I'd be ok with waiting and that I'd still like for them to stop by to give us an estimate. She said "I can take your information and hopefully, they'll give you a call back". Hopefully? No thanks.

The words "contractor" and "South Florida" don't call to mind paragons of moral virtue. When you combine them into "South Florida contractor," most people immediately think rip-off. Well, fortunately, there are still good people in this world. One such person is the owner of Living Earth Remodelers, Mr. Eamon Toner. Eamon is an honest man, and his word is golden. He also runs a great company. He and his roofing partner, Mr. John Cherry, did a fantastic job replacing our tile roof (which included a large section of flat roof). His workers were diligent and professional. Everything went according to plan. The only delays were slight and related to the weather. The work also included removal of a large overhang in the front of the house. Tearing it down was not a problem. The tricky part involved refashioning the remaining section of overhang to match the rolled stucco around the rest of the house. This involved quite a bit of carpentry and lathe work, and then stuccoing of a large curved surface. The job turned out wonderfully. In summary, the price was fair, the work was done extremely well, and the contractor was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive. All in all, a super experience.

This was the third remodeling job we have done with this provider over the last five years. Each time I have been very satisfied with the outcome. Eamon Toner, the owner of Living Earth Remodelers, is responsive and reliable. The quality of the work is excellent and the value he provides is good. When the scope of a job changes, he offers alternatives and understands keeping the owner's financial costs to the lowest possible. I have recommended Living Earth Remodelers to my friends and colleagues over the last few years and when they work with Living Earth Remodelers, they too have reported good experiences. After years of bad experiences with cowboy contractors in South Florida, I don't think for a second of going elsewhere; I continue to go back to Living Earth Remodelers and continue to get business integrity and performance reliability.

As with any major job involving plumbing and electrical, our master bath renovation took a long time (especially as we had custom cabinetry built for the room). From beginning the tear out to final inspection, it was about six weeks. It was well worth the wait, as the room is now open, bright and handsome. A far cry from the original "builder's grade" materials that were originally there. Our work went over budget, primarily because of the cost of tile for the floors and the shower area (2.5 to 3 times the amount originally estimated for tile, but we knew we were going to want unique, interesting tile and set aside additional money to cover this. It was worth the expense!) While we weren't surprised by the cost of the tile, the sinks, toilet and fixtures, which we purchased separately from a plumbing supply company, turned out to be about $1,000 more than we planned. This, of course, is no reflection on Living Earth. I just point this out in case you're budgeting for a new bath or kitchen remodeling job. We've seen the cost of fixtures go way up in recent years as we've done work on our homes. Our total cost of the remodeling was $24,000+. Eamon from Living Earth Remodelers met with us a couple times to help us rough out our ideas on paper, and came up with a few great suggestions that we incorporated. He also dealt with all of the permits and inspections (and there were several). One of the great things about this project was that the crew was able to take out the old tub, toilet, etc, and bring in all the new materials through the large window in the bath. There was very little dust in the house and no damage to walls, floors, etc. as a result. One of the perks of living in a single story house. We went from a room with dark walls and bland, uninspired fixtures to a bright, open room with white cabinets, light blue walls, and tile/fixtures that evoke the ocean. It looks like a bath you might find in an upscale beach home, which is fitting for our Florida location. We're very pleased with it, and we've added a substantial amount of storage in the room, to boot! I've already spoken to Eamon about other jobs we're considering for the future. We would happily use Living Earth Remodelers again.

Not well. He never sent an estimate . Said he was to busy . Definitely not concerned . I coudn't tell you what is true or not about their work but their professionalism so far and time to get an estimate would never get my business for fear of the job itse;f woudl have teh same consequence

Everything was great. I am already using them again for jobs that are still outstanding.

I called...spent time explaining what I wanted and gave the address. I wanted to make sure i was in their jurisdiction since these days they get pretty picky as to where they can go. They then asked if I was a condo and I said yes, and they stated that they just don't have time to do condos anymore. I asked why that wasn't on their ad, and they said they didn't get to it. Too much hassle.

Eamon, the company's owner, is professional and honest. He listened to what we wanted and even suggested some alternatives that worked out great. He promptly returned our calls. However, we felt that he was over-committed and did not have enough workers to get all the jobs done. This caused miscommunications and work having to be re-done which delayed project completion. A project that should have taken a few weeks actually took three months. We are happy with final product but wish there had been less incidents along the way.

I was looking for a contractor to do an addition to my home. Eamon called me back and kept trying to steer me away from an addition even suggesting that I move instead. If he does not do additions all he had to do was say so. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Outstanding results achieved in the remodeling project. Eamon was very helpful throughout the process of acquiring permits and assisting in the selection of accessories such as the backsplash, faucets, sink, and appliances. He communicated regularly throughout the project. An architect was required for the ceiling support design after removal of two walls. This required a steel beam emplacement in accordance with city code. He contracted a very skilled installers for this task. His cabinet installation staff were first rate and Eamon was always hands on. I was very fortunate to have selected Living Earth Remodelers and I am definitely contacting them again for future remodeling efforts.

I had a great experience and am so happy that I choose Eamon Toner and his company Living Earth Remodelers to do my renovations. Eamon is very knowledgeable about all aspects of construction and has very high standards which is exactly the qualities you want in the person you let work on your house. Permits were pulled as I requested and all work was done as promised. I added additional work to the job after the initial estimate was provided and that work was also completed perfectly within the timeframe quoted. Every tradesmen that worked on my house was trustworthy, respectful of my belongings and took pride in doing an excellent job. I admit that there were times during this 3 month long job that I lost my cool and threw some hissy fits but Eamon promised to make me happy and he came through in the end. I smile every time I come through the door of my "new" house and am so grateful that the work was completed to my 100% satisfaction...since I am a very demanding customer.

My search for a reputable contractor to remodel this small condo bathroom took some time. My biggest issue was finding a contractor that would work with me (I live 1800 miles from the project) and my college aged son who lives in the condo. I've done several major home improvement projects and I tend to be very specific about details. As soon as I began the estimating process with Eamon, I got the sense that I was in good hands. I wanted permits pulled for the job and Eamon didn't try to talk me out of them, just told me the project my take a bit longer depending on the availability of the city inspectors. Eamon and his office were very responsive, always available if not immediately - he was a phone call, text or email away. He always got back to me in a timely manner. Even though this was a relatively small project, they took my project as serious as if it were a major renovation. I had done a lot of research on costs and got 2 other quotes from other contractors. I knew what I wanted; I knew what it would cost. The agreed upon price was reasonable and fair. It was not the cheapest quote I got, but cheap wasn't the best way to go for me. Cost is only 1 of several factors I used to select a contractor; responsiveness to my questions and reviews like these helped. The time frame for completing the project would be dependent on how quickly the city inspectors could come out after each phase of the work. When the city inspector told Eamon he needed another permit, one that they assured him he wouldn't need; his office got the permit and called for the inspection. I decided to fly down to make sure the final days of the project - all the final details - went smoothly. Every tradesman they used (the plumber, electrician, painter, carpenter) was pleasant, courteous, efficient and professional! They were great! I will most certainly use Living Earth Remodelers again!

It took longer than I expected but all of the crew did a professional, excellent job. Eamon listened to what I wanted and he even suggested some alternatives that I thought would be great. Eamon is professional, honest and down to earth. He has excellent customer service skills. I have some other updates that I want done and I will call Living Earth Remodelers again.
