Description of Work: Replace a hanging fixture on a cathedral ceiling, though in the past he's done much more complicated work.

+ -1 moreI called late Friday night. It was hot and I had no power going to my airconditioner. I described the problem to Andre and he told me that he would be glad to come right out if it was necessary, but he really thought this was an FPL problem and they would fix it at no charge. Then he gave me the number to FPL. Andre was right. The problem was fixed in 4 hours at no cost to me. I'm sure many others would have made an after hours service call but not Andre. He gave me real service and has my good will and future business. If you want an electrician you can trust, call Andre. Should I have and electrical problem in the future, Andre will be the first person I call.

+ -1 moreHad a couple of scheduling hiccups, but Andres LaPalme did a whale of a good job. He is a hard worker and a skilled electrician. What began as a cut conduit under my landscaping led to repair of several other items in the house, and to the overhaul of my fusebox system, something I've been wanting to do for a long time. Andres is like a smart detective and can solve problems. While the work involved was more than I expected, his fees are reasonable. More important, I am glad I had the work done and can rest assured it was done right. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: removed and repaired broken conduits (one outdoor, several upstairs) re-routed circuits, troubleshot entire electrical layout, discovered hazards overhauled non-compliant fusebox, rewired and reconfig'd breakers brought house to 99% code for safety and compiance

Description of Work: Outside Electric Meter hit by lightning, this person was the only one who would even come and look at the problem. The storm happened at night and we were totally without electricity. FPL couldn't help but this fellow found the problem right away and even went back to his shop to get the part to restore power. When asked how much we owed, he replied "nothing"! How many electricians would do that on a rainy dark night???????? We sent him a check for $100.00, but I'm not sure that it was enough to repay his kindness. If you need an honest Electrician, he's the man to call!!
