Keep in mind that the price I paid for shutters was in 2006. I am sure Jay's price is cheaper now. I had an estimate for 15k 3 months before having Jay install my shutters. The shutters were installed quickly and passed inspection the first time. My brother-in-law used another company and failed inspection twice. So, I don't take passing inspection on the first time for granted. I saw Jay installing shutters on my neighbor's home and asked him for a quote. He installed shutters on 3 homes on my block. He said that he took care of his customers and that I could call him if I had a problem. I didn't believe him at that time. Two years later just before Hurricane Ike I was searching for the keys to close the shutters. I misplaced the keys during a kitchen remodel. I called Jay on Sunday for help. To my surprise he called back 2 hours later. He actually came by the same day to bring two sets of keys. He would not accept payment for the keys. I am writing this report to thank Jay for his help. The shutters still look and function like new after two years.
