Description of Work: I now understand this company is out of business since Nov 2011. This is a scam operation do not sign up with them or give them any money. We signed up and 2 months after signing our washer went out. We had to pay 65.00 for the service call. When the repair person told us the unit needed to be overhauled it would cost 950.00. They contacted Home Choice and the company would not approve the service and said they would be contacting us. They called 2 day later and offered us 150.00. That was unexceptable and we continued to contact management but would not be put to anyone other than customer serivce. We did go to small claims court and received a judgement against them but they have not paid that either. We did get a prorated refund from Choice Plans LLC, 3 months later. There are 55 complaints against them on the internet and we are working with the State Attorney in both IL and FL. They continue to do business which is not legal per our lawyer. This is not the company you want to work with for Home Warranty but I am not sure there is a good company out there. Please do research before investing your money.Thanks

+ -1 moreI paid my premium in full on March 3rd. On July 7th I called to get my claim. That same day, they had a company come out in order to do the work. Since I wasn’t able to have the work done at that exact time, I wanted to re-schedule. A few days later, that same company came out to do the work again. The company was having a hard time contacting their office to get the secure payment/authorization to begin the work, so they told me that I had to pay the payment myself, then get reimbursed by Home Choice Plans. I attempted to contact Home Choice myself, and I was able to get into contact with someone. They were supposed to call me back, but nobody ever did. Around the 15th, I did get into contact with someone, and was referred to a manager. I left a voicemail. I’ve just been leaving voicemails since then with no response.
Description of Work: I purchased a warranty for my home. If there any issues in my home, they are supposed to send out a company to get the issue fixed.
