El Mago's Roofing Corp

My roof was redone by El Mago's Roofing in April 2020 due to damages from a past hurricane. I selected this company over many others that came and gave me an estimate. We have a 10 year warranty contract with El Mago's Roofing . Choosing El Mago's roofing has been a nightmare because almost every time it rains the roof leaks in areas it never leaked before. Every time the company sent his workers over to fix the problem they've created, they could never speak English nor understand my frustration. Reading all of these reviews, I'm beginning to believe that I'm being discriminated against. Today my husband called the office due to another leak as it was raining a couple of days ago. He was told by a lady that our contract could not be located. I am tired of this nonsense. A lot of money was paid for this work to be done, and I will have to go a step further to resolve this madness.

I met Merlyn a couple of years ago when I called him for a small roof leak. He was highly recommended on all the reviews. They did such a good job that when the time came, I didn't hesitate to contact him to do my entire roof. Working with him is so unlike the "fly by night" contractors that swoop in after a storm and don't do the job the right way. He is fully licensed and insured. I saw no complaints on his file. His team was always so helpful and professional. They took care of all the details meticulously, all the permits, all the inspections. I noticed he used the highest quality material at every step. Not once did he try to cut corners. It took a little over a week to get it all done, the only interruptions being waiting for the city inspections. Every day, after working they immediately picked up and disposed of any debris. After finishing the job, they sent a specific cleaning team to make sure everything was clean and right. My house looks like new again. Merlyn has shown to be very honest, and he is a man of his word. If he tells you he will do something, he will. I highly recommend El Mago's Roofing. The pricing is great.

El Mago Roofing and owner Melvin Santos are the best. The have all of these quality. We know that roofers have a little of bad name. But with this company you find that they have thebestprices,quality,workethics,reliable,organized,reachable, and they keep their word all the way thru. Melvin has the best communication and always truthful and right on point. My roof was bad and they replaced all the wood that was roten and my roof is safe and beautiful. I decided for a metal roof and I am so pleased I when with that option. It’s beautiful. The inspector was so impressed with the system they used on the metal roof that he even expressed that the company did a great job. In all the time he had inspected roof he had not seen such good quality. I am giving EL MAGO ROOFING a 10 in rating 5 rating does not cut it. Extremely please. I’d highly recommend it from the estimator Nemzie to the Owner Merlyn the office staff and workers were all very respectful on time great price not only that he was the ONLY contractor that offered me a warranty on my repair I’d give them 10 stars if it was possible don’t take my word see it for yourself

This company is beyond great! They replaced my roof and it looks beautiful !! If you’re looking for a professional, courteous and great workers this is the company to hire !! They went beyond the call of duty to make me happy !! The owner is hands on with the customer service as well !! There prices are unbeatable and there workmanship Like no other!! I will recommend them to anyone and everyone I know !! Thank you you all from the owner to installers I couldn’t ask for better service !! Did I say I love my roof !!

Great service and affordable. Friendly and professional but lack commutation with their customer..Had to reach out several times to schedule the appointment, get a time for the appointment and to get someone to come out.

Merlyn, the owner of El Mago's Roofing, was great with communication, scheduling and follow ups -- and a two man team he sent did a good job clearing our roof and gutters of leaves and debris and then recoating a section of flat roof and some roof valleys that were past due for resealing with fibered aluminum paint. We didn't have a big job, but we were treated professionally and the crew was thorough and cleaned up well after. Price was fair and entire job was done in a week, which is faster than normally one could expect -- it was a small job and I asked they work us in when they could and it got done quickly. I would certainly call on El Mago's again when the need arises.

The El Mago team did a fantastic job replacing our entire roof. We had a number of questions along the way and Merlyn and his team worked with us at each step of the way. Price was fair and entire job was done in 2 weeks including all permits and inspections. Would definitely recommend.

They started in the morning and were finished in less then 10 hours. They replaced rotted plywood and fascia boards with new lumber. 3 pieces of plywood was in the original estimate he however had to replace more and adding the rotted fascia he replaced which was quite a bit since the roof hadn't been worked on since the '70's raised the original estimate $1600. The work was completed during a 2 day lull in the rainy season and we haven't had a leak since he worked on it. Over all we are satisfied. However I do wish he had told me how messy a roofing job would be to the interior of the house where the wood broke off while they removing it I would have made gotten drop cloth or tarp to collect the it and not had to clean up after. However the outside was just as it was when they started the roofing work. Other then that for the money we spent on it, it is solid, we aren't afraid to get up on the roof now and add an antenna to it nor are we afraid when someone climbs on it to trim the limbs away from the new roof and them falling through it. Its solid now and not leaking which is all one asks for when someone does a roof job.

The owner was very responsive and kept me informed on the various stages of the project (from ordering the tile to final inspection).

Merlyn Santos (owner) of El Mago's Roofing Corp. was the best. He always answered any questions I had immediately. Came out within 24-hours for job quote. I signed contract and within 72 hours work permit was applied for. Work permit was picked up same day issued and work started within 72 hours. Merlyn kept me informed each step of the way with text & photos and phone calls. No time wasted. I have other property rentals as well and when more work is needed I will be calling Meryln

I did a partial re-roof of my home with El Mago's Roofing and had a great experience. The owner, Marlyn, always replied to my texts immediately, showed up on time every time, explained the process and permits properly, crew were nice and always explained what they were doing at the time, they cleaned up after themselves each day, and passed inspection without any issues. His prices were honest and reasonable. I would recommend him to do any roofing work on anyone's home, total great experience.

I called and scheduled an appointment, which they canceled. They rescheduled for another day which they canceled too.

First I must say I never leave reviews but I was compelled to leave one for this company for their exceptional service, professionalism and punctuality. My roof was completed within 2 weeks from start to finish from signing contract to permits. They guys were clean, and thorough. It’s interesting that with such a amazing experience they were also the cheapest quote I got after searching for almost 1 year and receiving over 10 quotes. I think the pics of their work speaks more than my review. All in all I would recommend 1000%, trust me you will not regret the decision.

Merlyn took before and after pictures and sent them to me. He replaced 18 shingles. I had extra matching shingles in my garage so he used those. I am pleased with the work. I would hire him again.

Ty Was very quick to meet and give me a quote, His price was less than I was expecting. He worked with me on the date, and his crew arrived on the date and time agreed,. They worked very quick and did an outstanding job I had contacted Roofing Co, that I had used in the past, and they all said we can't work on tha type of roof Ty looked at it and said no an issue he could fix it with a new covering . His crew did that, it looks better than NEW Would recommend him and his company with out hesitation and will call him for my future roofi9ng needs
