I recently had the pleasure of working with Carlos Fernandez and his team from Builders of America for a rental property project, and I’m thoroughly impressed with their work. They handled a range of tasks including painting common areas, replacing all soffit vents, and performing various electrical repairs. From start to finish, Carlos and his team demonstrated professionalism and expertise. The quality of the painting was exceptional, with clean lines and a flawless finish that really brightened up the space. The soffit vents were replaced efficiently, and the electrical work was completed to a high standard, ensuring everything was up to code and functioning properly. What stood out most was their attention to detail and their commitment to getting the job done right. They communicated effectively throughout the project, provided timely updates, and were responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Overall, Builders of America exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend Carlos Fernandez and his team for any construction or renovation needs. The contractor Carlos from Ubaldo Blanco GC INC and/or PHD Builders Inc. was hired on October 24th, 2021, for a kitchen remodel. In order to initiate the project, I was informed to pay 60% of the total cost of the remodel. Once the deposit was paid the contractor became unprofessional, exhibited poor workmanship, failure to perform services according to the schedule, damaged floors, cabinets and failure to communicate which were the reasons why I was forced to terminate the contractor. He delivered broken and poorly assembled cabinets and refuses to take them back. He has taken my money and left me with cabinets that are not what was originally shown to me from the warehouse. Based on my decision to terminate the contractor he threatened to place a lien on my home, he has refused to provide receipts to account for the purchases and expenses for the project, as well as to retrieve the cabinets from my garage as promised. Homeowners BEWARE, it's either his way or no way despite how terrible his work and behavior is. If you are looking for someone that will listen and address your concerns, protect your home, and complete a task without him disrespecting you and yelling then look elsewhere. This has been by far the worst experience ever. Save yourselves from this company's lies and deceit. Don’t get bamboozled by this crook!

They did an excellent service. They were very responsive and knowledgeable. I will definitely refer them to anyone. They were professional and on time.

I thought I would never have luck in picking the right contractor until I found Carlos and PHD Kitchen and Bath. Their process is by far the best I've experienced and the level of attention to detail and construction and timeframe was exactly as agreed. Until dealing with PHD, I had never dealt with a contractor so I tuned with the need of customers to save, save, save. Every decision taken by Carlos and his team involved "how to save" discussion. My wife and I could not be happier with the work, look and great cost of our beautiful new kitchen. We even have a backsplash that no one else seems to have.

I hired PHD builders to remodel my kitchen and master bathroom. Carlos and his crew were incredibly professional. I felt Carlos was straightforward, honest, communicative, fairly priced and had plenty of insightful feedback and suggestions during the entire remodel. His team was timely, efficient and the end product was more than I had hoped for. I have recommended this company to several friends now and highly recommend them to anyone considering home-improvement/remodeling.

It was wonderful. They were very professional. Everything was on time. They told me everything before hand. They cleaned up after themselves. They were on time. The price was reasonable.

They have been excellent. Their talent in crown molding and mill work in general are exceptional. I have a strong sense of design and they are very accommodating and they work well with me. They work well within various architectural/ interior styles as well. I would highly recommend them and I will hire them again.
