"All USA Van Lines 800-377-1874": Is the worst moving Company in the USA, they came in a little truck and put things in a warehouse then came back the next day to get the rest. They broke a lot of our furniture and hid it from us. They destroyed the filled boxes, busted them open from moving them from truck to warehouse to truck. They keep adding up the price, charged for tape, shrink wrap, boxes labor. AFTER THEY HAD IT IN THE TRUCK. This was after they came by the house to look at what they had to move and give an estimate of the cost for the move. They quoted $4,200 to move the items she showed them from Atlanta to Ft Lauderdale, final bill with all the cost over runs was $7,400.00.
Description of Work: They moved my girl friends house furniture and all items from Atlanta, GA to Ft Lauderdale, FL.

I requested a refund of my deposit and they did not send in violation of their contract. They are also known as Interstate Movers out of Hallandale, Florida.
Description of Work: Placed a deposit with them in Feb 2014 for a May 2014 move from Florida to Colorado. In March I decided not to use this company and they would not credit my CC account and kept promising a check that never arrived.

How did it go?? Horrible horrible horrible....DO NOT use this van line. All USA Van Lines were subcontracted under a different line (Neighbors Moving and Storage) so be sure to ASK if your mover subcontracts. They did not honor the original binding estimate or even their own final binding estimate. There are also MANY add-on's to be careful about; distance to door, presence of stairs, presence of elevator, etc. and they make you sign a waiver that they are not responsible if they damage walls, etc in the moving process. They suggest that you tip the workers 10-15% of the cost of the move; which would add several hundred dollars on each end. Departure End: The crew chief came in to the apt, and said that the original estimate was way too low and doubled the price. The packer was putting books into a small/ medium box, filled it half full, and started to close it up. I pointed out that the box wasn't full and we were paying by cubic ft. He said it would be too heavy to lift. I asked him to repack it because my daughter and I had moved everything into the apartment ourselves except for the furniture that was all new, excluding a small dinette set. Originally we moved everything there ourselves in a 4-Runner and Prius (including the dinette set) and I'm a 57 year old female. It took 2 trips for the 4-Runner. There is no way on earth that there was actually the "600 ft" that they said we had...he reluctantly revised it to 550 ft; still ridiculously over inflated. The apt had only one bedroom and none of the appliances were moved. She had only lived there 4 months before being transferred. The movers stole a personal hand truck that I asked specifically if it had been marked and logged. I was told it had been, but it had not, and now there is no proof except that I have a picture of him using my daughter's blue hand truck. They tracked mud and trash into the apartment even though there were sidewalks and elevators from door to truck. I had to rent equipment to clean the mess they made. Arrival End: The furniture was delivered 3 weeks past the original delivery date but within their ?21 days past the due date margin?. It was assembled; but the movers refused to place furniture where it belonged. The bed was gouged (new furniture, less than 4 months old), rips were torn into a mattress box spring and now there are mud stains (we hope it?s mud) on it. The books are damaged. She hasn?t finished unpacking to see how many dishes are ruined but I think putting a heavy iron skillet in with glassware (yes I did witness this) was not a good idea. I do not know if my daughter is going to have to file legal action for fraud/ misrepresentation/ damages. But whether she does or does not, PLEASE know that All USA Van Lines looks like a reputable company but it is NOT! We did "due diligence" or what we thought was due diligence; we used a recommended company that subcontracted this one. Now we are just grateful that (most of) her belongings made it across the country, beaten, battered, and bruised and emotionally we feel that way too.
