A-Best Painting Contractors

I found them on Angie's List, and I have used them twice. I was very happy with him, and I used him first for the interior and then for the exterior. They completed the job within the time frame that they gave me. The only time it took longer was when we did the exterior and it had rain, but other than that, he was very much on time, and the workers were on time, respectful and clean. I really liked that company. When they did the exterior, they brought in a bunch of people to get it done fast, because it had rained and they were running behind. They brought 3 people to do the interior. The price was reasonable.

They were very courteous and punctual. The owner Richard is incredibly helpful and I will be using their services very soon.

My experience with A-Best Painting was excellent from the first phone call. They are professional, timely, excellent quality of work and reasonable in price in comparison to other companies. I would highly recommend them for painting jobs. I also had them paint stripes on a wall and the job was professionally done. I will definitely be contacting them again in the future.

They contacted me very quickly after I sent them a message through Angie's List and we set up an appointment. The gentleman arrived on time for the appointment, was very friendly and professional, and went over in detail what would be done then provided me with a written estimate through email within a day or two of the appointment.

We had a great experience with A-Best. We wanted to get the painting done before we moved into our new home, and they were able to accommodate our short deadline. The painters who came to our house were professional and friendly (I had to remind myself to stop chatting with them so they could work). They also explained the issues with our home like the bad paint job it had before and the textured walls so I knew exactly what was going on. They also have a killer discount with Sherwin-Williams, if you're buying your own paint. It ended up costing us more than we'd planned, but the house looks fantastic! We'll be calling them again when it's time to paint the exterior.

These guys did a great job planning, prepping, priming and painting our home. They patched areas, caulked windows, cleaned up after painting, etc. The cost was within our budget and the paint job was really nice; it looks like we have a new home! They even came back out and cleaned up paint on our windows from the last paint company. We would hire these guys again, anytime! Ben & Tony

We had provided all of the paint for the project. The paint crew from A Best arrived on time and got right to work, and, they were to paint and complete the trim in all rooms within our home. Two of the team members came back on Saturday to complete the painting of all interior doors. The team from A-Best was awesome from start to finish. When they left at the end of day-1 everything was put back in place (outlet covers, window treatments, etc) it was spotless!! I would recommend A-Best Painting Contractors to anyone.

Called on a Monday and was told the estimator would call in two business days to make appointment, The estimator called the next day and came on Friday. Proposal was ready on following Monday and work was scheduled for Friday to give me time to buy the paint. Unfortunately, the estimator missed the nicotine stains. Tom and Richard (the partners) discovered the stains and insisted a primer (kilz) had to be added to the job to prevent bleeding of the stains thru the new paint. That doubled the labor costs, but they did not charge me for the primer itself. Took two days to complete. They had to come back twice more to correct a crack in the ceiling, but did so willingly and promptly . They did a great job and showed a commitment to quality and service. Very easy to work with.Very good at covering everything to protect stuff. I would recommend them.

What can I say, but PERFECTION! Again, A Best Painting has done a fabulous job on my new house. (Of course, I used them on my old house, so I knew they would be great). The faux finishes in my rooms look like a million bucks. Richard always picks the colors and finishes for me and they always compliment my decor. They even stopped the leak I had by waterproofing the outside. No one else knew what to do, but Richard knew. All the painters were on time and cleaned up after they were done. I would use them over and over again. Good value for a great job.

A-Best had painted the entire interior of my home in Oct and done wonderful work, so when I had this small job to be done, I called them. I didn't know if they would want to be bothered with something so little. But Richard, whom I had dealt with previously, assured me that he would send someone out. Not only did he send someone out, but it was done right away, done beautifully, and within 2 days, the work was completely finished. And here is the most incredible part, he gave me an astounding bargain price wise, as a thank you for prior business! A company that does business this way in this day and age is a real rarity. Not only will I always use them for any painting that I need done, but also will recommend them to anyone and everyone. This company is a gem.

The process....from the quote to the end was completely professional. I thought the workman were courteous and experts at what they were doing. If there was any problems i pointed out, or anything done not to my satisfaction - they redid it, or simply corrected it, no questions asked - except to have me be more explanatory on my desires. I was able to pick any paints i wanted and the owner was very patient with us and how long it took to move forward. I am a repeat customer from some 20 or so years ago - we loved it then, and we love it now....highly recommended!

I found them on Angie's List. I liked everything that they did. They were very professional, got everything done that they needed, and did it very efficiently. I thought the price was very competitive. I found it to be a very valued price, I was very comfortable with it.

Because our closing date changed several times, I had to reschedule the estimate twice; Richard was kind enough to come out himself since his estimator was out of town. He gave us a reasonable time frame and we were happy with the estimate. The painters started when Richard said they would and he ensured the job would be completed on time by keeping a full team on site. The walls in several of our rooms are highly textured making them difficult to paint. A Best Painting made good progress despite the fact that I changed my mind about the paint color in one of the larger rooms. A Best Painting also stripped wall paper and removed moldings and wrapped the molding pieces neatly in our garage. They matched existing paint colors so well, it is not possible to tell the old from the new paint. They also did a great job painting many of our interior doors. While the job was not cheap we are very pleased with the results.

I had someone else paint it, and they didn't do the best of jobs. I had this provider come out to fix the job and they have come out another time since then. They are very neat people and don't make a mess. I didn't even hear them outside working. They even keep in touch to check in and see how the job went. If you have a question and give them a call, they call right back and are very pleasant. They are great people and did a great job. They are excellent painters.

Team A-Best does it again!! We were was so pleased with the results of our interior paint job that we also hired Richard and team to paint the exterior of our home. They showed up every day on time, were professional, worked their tails off and cleaned up after themselves each day... Another job well done!

Wow, A-Best Painting sure lives up to its name! From beginning to end, A-Best estimator, owners, & painters were professional , punctual, courteous, and did a superb job. Both my husband, myself, and 2 dogs were in the house while all the painting was going on, so while it wasn't easy, everything went smoothly and was just as it should have been. They showed up on time, worked all day, & even cleaned up each and every day after they finished. I was very happy with the end result, especially the faux painting, which really was spectacular. They even came back the day after they were paid in full to fix one little thing.

This was actually my second time using A-Best painting. The first time was a few years ago, they did a big job for me. They painted the outside of my home, and they also did a huge part of the inside. They did an awesome job, inside and out. Which is why I called them again when I need a bedroom painted. Now this wasnt just any bedroom, my son had been in this room for 8 years since he was about 10. It had been "horribly" painted twice, had several baseball sized holes, tons and tons of poster holes, and well lets just say by the time he finished patching this room, it was almost a new wall. I did not think it would turn out as good as it did, it really was pretty bad. It turned out great. I would highly recommend them for a big job, or a small job. They do it all. make sure you talk to Richard, he's a great guy, easy to work with, he'll treat you right. Thanks A-Best, you truly are the Best.

I arranged with Richard to have one painter for eight hours to complete three rooms of a house I was renting. The night before, I realized that one painter would not be enough to complete the job in 8 hours, and so I called Richard at 6:00 p.m. to see if I might be able to add a second painter for the next morning. Even on such short notice, Richard was able to accommodate my request, and the next morning both Debbie and Tom arrived to do the job. Debbie and Tom arrived on time and immediately went to work. They worked efficiently and professionally throughout the eight hours to complete all phases of the project. I was thoroughly satisfied with the result, and especially grateful that Richard was able to modify the original contract on such short notice. Well done A-Best Painting. Nice job!

A-Best responded quickly to my request for an estimate. One of their employees came to the home, assessed the job, and an estimate was provided within 48 hours. Their price was more competitive than another company I had quote the job. I also appreciated the professionalism in which A-Best communicated. The job spanned four days, and the crew working daily at my home were friendly and professional. I had no worries leaving them in the home unattended as the work was done daily. The finished job looked great, and they re-installed all duct covers, door components, outlets, etc. just as they found them before starting the work.

AMAZING!!! Richard, Tom and their crew are amazing! They did a lot more than just bring paint and rollers. They educated me on areas of the wall that indicated previous water damage, they spotted and repaired where a previous baseboard had been tore out and left uneven portions in the drywall. The walls are smooth and beautiful. They even provided advice as I made my paint selection. As the owner, Richard returned all communications very promptly. And has worked with me patiently as I'm slowly going through a remodel. He's worked with my schedule even while I've done some parts out of sync. For example, I removed the popcorn ceiling after the walls had been painted. They came back and provided a reasonable quote to repair the upper portion of my walls and prime and paint my ceilings. The crew that came out were punctual and even helped as I received cabinet deliveries for my kitchen remodel. Wherever I go, if I need painting, I will hire A-Best Painting again, and again.

All I can say is - WOW! A-Best is THE best! The owner, Richard, was in constant contact with me as the project progressed, and he quoted me very fair prices. The team he put on my project - Candy, Karla, and Wagner - were very professional, quick, and a delight to work with. They were also flexible as the scope of work changed - they pointed out things that were done incorrectly by the first painter that would have been a nightmare to deal with in the long-term, and we modified the scope accordingly, on the fly. If they had not been so proactive in pointing out issues, I would have been left with the need to re-do a lot of the painting work in a year or two. The thing I appreciated most was the attention to detail: nice, even ceiling lines (even though my ceilings and walls were pretty uneven, as we discovered); lots of care in minimizing plaster dust as they sanded; no paint splatter on the walls or windows; and they did an amazing job of cleaning up when they were finished. A-Best specializes in painting existing homes, with the owner in residence, vs. new construction (where you can be a slob and it doesn't matter). Having had someone who did new construction only, prior to my hiring A-Best, I can tell you that that makes all of the difference in the world! I recommend A-Best very highly!!!
