I contacted the company for a quote on painting the interior of a 2200 sq ft, 4 floor townhouse that had been an rental property for 5 years. At $5600 Richard Guitar offered to do more than the other 3 companies I obtained quotes from. His price was mid-range of all 4 proposals received and the most reasonable for my needs. His workers showed up every weekday around between 7 and 8 AM and worked throughout the day. Their prep work protected new flooring in bedrooms and on 3 flights of stairs. They fixed damaged walls during the job and were done faster than originally suggested. Richard kept in constant contact via phone and e-mail. The results were beyond my expectations.

We received a couple of estimates and we decided to go with A-Best. Richard was very nice and they did a terrific job with the painting. We had some decorative molding that was over our bed that we had asked to be removed. When they were done, the crew had left it there and painted over it. When my husband mentioned it to Richard, he said he recalled us requesting that and he would take care of it, which he did. My husband left him two messages asking him to please call when he was done, but we never received a call.

I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING. FROM THE QUALITY OF THE WORK PERFORMED TO MY FIRST CONVERSATION ON THE PHONE WITH RICHARD GUITAR (PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY). I DO NOT HAVE MUCH EXPERIENCE WITH PAINT AND RICHARD WAS VERY PATIENT AND TOOK HIS TIME IN ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS AND GIVING ME GOOD ADVICE AS TO WHICH PAINT FINISH I SHOULD GO WITH. WE WORK FULL TIME AND NEEDED THE JOB TO BE DONE OVER THE WEEKEND, WHICH HE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH AND PROMPTLY FOUND A PAINTER FOR THAT SAME SATURDAY. I THINK THE PRICE WAS RIGHT FOR THE QUALITY OF WORK THAT WAS DONE. DEBBIE WAS THE PAINTER THAT WAS ASSIGNED THE JOB AND SHE WAS GREAT, SHE DEFINITELY KNEW WHAT SHE WAS DOING. THE WALLS LOOK VERY PROFESSIONAL, SHE WAS CLEAN AND ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL (EVEN WHEN SHE WAS NOT PAINTING AND JUST WALKING THROUGH THE HOUSE WITH THE LADDER). SHE EVEN REMOVED SOME PAINT STAINS THAT HAD BEEN LEFT ON THE WINDOW TRIMMING FROM A PREVIOUS PAINT JOB, AND GAVE US A PROPER PAINT CONTAINER TO PUT SOME LEFT OVER PAINT THAT WE HAD BEEN KEEPING IN AN OLD GATORADE BOTTLE. TO SUM IT ALL UP, WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT!

In both instances, the work quality was excellent. They are punctual and reliable. There were some minor issues, like I picked the wrong color paint, which was entirely my fault. They patiently waited while I went out bought new paint more to my liking. The owner and employees were very professional and seemed to be genuinely nice people.

I highly recommend this company. Where as several other paint companies were not responsive to my needs, could not do what I needed done or asked for. But Richard (the owner) of A Best Painting listened to my wants and concerns. He recommended alternatives and advice. There was alot of patching repair that was done on my house and the outcome was perfect. Richard was on the job every day, checking to make sure things were done correctly. Before beginning the job he went over with us, several times what we wanted. His crew was great. Very professional. They moved everything. Covered things that needed to be covered, even my car which was parked out on the swale in front of my house. Their work was perfection. They cleaned up after themselves every day. After they finished, there wasn't a thing that needed to be redone, retouched, or done over. You can't find a more professional, personable, hard working crew and company then A Best Painting.

Painting is a mess and a major inconvenience! Not with A-Best Painting. Richard Guitar, owner, and our crew led by Debbie and Tom, did an unbelievable job under somewhat hectic conditions. You see, we were painting an apartment after a one-time owner, now 95, had vacated, and many of her things remained. Needless to say, a lot had been neglected and we didn't think the apartment had been painted in 20 years. This was no problem for A-Best. They worked around the furniture, and even worked as large old furniture pieces were being removed to trash. From start to finish it was a great experience. When Richard came to estimate, we told him one condition was that the job had to be completed in the following week. Our job came in on time, on budget, and perfectly done, and I never use the word perfect, I assure you. We feel we paid a fair price, not cheap by any means, but we got A-1 quality and professionalism. Even things we didn't ask to be fixed were fixed, like sticking closet doors and falling window shutter frames. When this job was done, it was done right in every way. I would definitely recommend A-Best Painting to anyone in need of interior painting. We will have A-Best back as we turn to the next phase of our renovation project. Kitchen and baths await!

The paint crew showed up early Monday mourning and worked non stop, cleaned up everyday before they left and continued thru Friday. Richard partner Tom was on the job everyday and oversaw all the work any issues that came up was addressed immediately. Richard called me several time thru the week to make sure I was happy, and I was. They completed the work on time, within budget, left the house cleaner they it was when they started and left the extra paint in labeled cans so if i need to do touchups I can. The outside of the house also needs a paint job and in the winter I will be calling Richard to do the job. If you want the job done right give him a call.

The guys from A-Best did a magnificent job. At the start, Richard, the company's president, personally came out to estimate the job. The next day he e-mailed us a detailed proposal laying out the work that would be done. We discussed some clarifications, which he included in the agreement for signing. His crew then began work on time on the day we had specified, they showed up on time every day thereafter, and they finished the job a half-day early. They left our place clean at the end of every day, they protected our furnishings perfectly, and the colors and finishes look great from top to bottom - better than we thought possible at the start. Juan, the team leader, was great, and he made a suggestion about how to finish our baseboards that was right-on. These guys are the best - we would hire them again without a second thought.

The man was very nice, but he gave me high estimate of $1500 for painting a small single bedroom condo, excluding the ceilings. I called back to get a more accurate in-person estimate, and scheduled that for Tuesday afternoon. About 15 minutes before he was supposed to come, he called to reschedule. He said he had called before but I was not home. I had rushed home to make the appointment, and did not appreciate his late notice. Their prices were too high anyway, so I have found another company.

They came quickly and did the work very well. I was impressed with how well they matched the colors and was pleased with the repair jobs that they did. I would recommend them to anyone. The price was good and they were pleasant to deal with. I was very impressed.

Everything was great. The workers showed up on time. They moved the furniture and then made sure everything was covered in plastic. Plenty of drop clothes were placed over my carpet. Everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. I trusted them in my house. At first, I thought the walls were going to be too dark but once it was painted, and the white was applied on the crown molding, I LOVED IT! It looks so country in my house now. I was so happy I took Cheryl's advice with the colors. Chuck showed up and checked on the workers. The job was finished in three days as promised. I walked through with one of the painters to make sure nothing was missed or needed any touch up. They also came back to touch up as we had agreed after I got my new carpet installed to touch up the walls. Even though the price was a little more them another company, it was sure worth it. If you need your house painted before the holidays, you will not be sorry if you use this company.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK. THEY WERE PLEASANT PEOPLE TO BE AROUND. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHER PEOPLE.
