They did an outstanding job with preparation and the actual painting of the house. The finishes are first class. They were very careful with corners with overlapping colors. They took five days but it was worth it. The owner came and inspected the work personally and we asked him to quote painting the exterior of the house. They will definitely paint it in the future for us.

The painter was helpful in recommending paint colors. The workers did a good job of dealing with cracks, peeling paint and old wallpaper. They did an excellent job and cleaned up very well.

I am a commercial general contractor in New Jersey that needed a painting contractor in Florida to repaint the home our daughter and son in law purchased in Florida They looked to me the contractor to handle the matter. I interviewed (3) contractors that I found through Angie's list and found A-Best to be the most professional, thorough in the scope of work and their price was exactly what I expected to pay. I hired them from New Jersey The work was completed. It was well done. It was started and finished exactly when promised. I didn't get to see the work until a few weeks after it was completed. i found this company on Angies list. They already had lots of positive reviews. I normally might not have hired them as they were not the cheapest, but I wanted the job done right and they got what I wanted, accurately represented it in the proposal and seemed very professional. Sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you just pay more- in this case I felt this company was worth the extra. The workers who came (a brother and sister from Michigan) were excellent. They were professional, careful (laid tarps everywhere). They were thorough, detail oriented. helpful and pleasant. I was very happy with them. Also, after the first day, Richard (the owner) called me to make sure everything was ok with the crew. Overall a good experience and I would recommend A-best Painting.

Very professional, work completed as promised. Workers punctual, polite and kept work area clean. The job to took a long time to complete because it rained every day for weeks. Richard and his crew worked the best they could around the weather. At one point I had 7 people painting my driveway early in the morning to beat the afternoon showers. I will be hiring them again to paint the interior of my home next. I have scheduled an appointment for an estimate next week.

Very good. I wanted to paint house in order to effect a sale. A Best was not lowest estimate I received for this project, however Richard, the owner/operator, was on the ball getting me a competitive estimate-and scheduling work. It took a two man crew about 7 working days to power wash entire property, prep, caulk, prime and paint. It took a day to complete power wash and rest of time was spent on prep, prime, paint and trim. The crew worked hard to get the job done. I was out of town for some of the project but realtor provided me with positive updates. Overall, the house came out great and house sold quickly in part to the new exterior paint. There were issues as to permits and paint color, but Richard resolved those matters to my satisfaction and I would absolutely hire A Best Painting in the future, they are professional painting contractors that stand behind their work.

The girls were so neat and completed the job in one day. The living room looks beautiful. Very very neat workers and I would definitely use them again Their customer services is unbelievable as they make you feel very special.

I live in CT so I had to make arrangements (by phone) with Richard Guitar - the owner - to have the job done at a certain time while I was in Florida. He assured me there would be no problem. We met 2 days before starting the job and picked out the colors. The painters ( Tom and Debbie) showed up on time as scheduled and immediately started working. I was impressed by their professionalism and efficiency. After the first coat in the living room, I started doubting the color I picked. Indeed it looked different on the wall. As they were doing a great job, I hated telling them I didn't like the color. Finally I decided to call Richard who very graciously told me he wanted me to be happy so to pick another color. Richard was sick at that time, so the next day Debbie (always very meticulous and helpful) picked up the new paint and the entire room was repainted in no time. It looks beautiful and I love it! We got the keys to our new home on Tuesday (7/2) and during the final walkthrough that evening realized a horrible truth: We have to paint. When the old owner had all their furniture and decorations in place we thought we'd be ok without painting as it looked really good, but seeing it empty changed everything. This would not have been a huge issue, except for the fact we had movers and furniture delivery both scheduled for 7/5. The amount of painting that had to be done quickly disqualified my wife and I from doing the work, so when we got home that night she turned to Angie's List in hopes of finding someone that could do the job on ultra short notice. My wife sent emails to 6 companies that night, with Richard from A-Best responding about an hour or so afterwards. He let us know that if we could get a deal done quick enough he could get the job done. I spoke to Richard by phone on the morning of 7/3 and arranged to meet at the house at 12:30pm that afternoon. At the meeting Richard did a thorough evaluation of the areas I needed painted and explained in detail all the work that would be done. He said he had never missed a deadline in 27 years on the job and that he could get a crew together the next day to do the work. An hour or so after we left the house Richard emailed me the proposal and assured me again that his team was ready to go. At 8am on 7/4, a crew of 6 people invaded my house and got down to business. They were FANTASTIC! The skill and precision they showed was amazing! They filled all the nail holes and sanded them down, as well as filling and sanding any other imperfections in the wall. On a whole, the job they did was stunning. The entire crew was really professional and seemed to enjoy their work, which showed in the finished product. I was watching them paint and noticed that they were not using tape, so I asked Debbie "Umm, I see you didn't tape anything, is it just amateurs that use tape?" She grinned and replied "Professionals don't use tape". If you look the the moulding in my bedroom you would swear they used tape to make the edges so sharp... nope, all by hand! Anyone can grab a brush and paint a room, but it takes skilled professionals to PAINT A ROOM. This was truly a crew of professionals. I want to thank Debbie, Tom and the rest of the crew that came to my house at 8am on the fourth of July! Thanks to A-Best for not just doing the job on short notice, but doing it RIGHT, my house looks great. I catch my wife standing in the middle of the family room looking at the walls and smiling. When we paint the exterior of the house once the roof is complete, Richard and A-Best will definitely be the company we call. The amount of money the job cost pales in comparison to the feel you get from entering your home and seeing a job well done.

I arranged for A Best Painting to paint my Florida condo from California. Richard Guitar was more than patient with me because we scheduled a date and then went back and forth on that date because of the condo closing. His painters showed up exactly on time each day, worked efficiently and were extremely friendly and helpful. They were neat and clean and did a terrific job on the wall repair work and the painting. We had lots of drama in purchasing this condo, but there was no drama in using A Best Painting. I will definitely use them for additional painting projects in the future. I could not have been more pleased with the work and the painters that worked on my job.

My experience with them was great. The had good quality of work, they were clean and fast. They were under control. agreed to do the service and also that they picked up everything after painting and it was a good job.

I was very happy with all aspects of this job. They were very efficient and handled from A-to-Z without a single concern from my side. This is something to be commended for! Thank you Richard for your folk's skills and professionalism.

Superb, on time, does exactly as promised, great attention to detail. Mr. Guitar is thorough, client oriented, I highly recommend him. Thought I had written a review before, but apparently it never got posted.

It was great customer service. They are very responsive and they did a fantastic job. They were very careful, very clean and it looks great. I would use them again in the future.

I called and spoke to Lina early this morning, Wednesday, June 12th. She was very friendly and courteous. I explained my situation and the rush I had to perform the work. Lina scheduled Jack to go come over Saturday morning, June 15th. I actually called Lina back later in the day letting her know we had decided to perform the work ourselves, but thanked her for her attention and assistance. Even though I did not use this company, I am writing this review to let everyone know that I would consider them in the future because of their professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to help their customers.

Dealt with Richard Guitar, the owner of the company to get an estimate on installing several murals and painting various things in a new house I was moving into. Price was fine and Richard was great in communicating everything with me both via email and phone. When the time came to perform the services, Richard first send Brad to do the mural installation. They came out great and we were very happy with the work. The next day, Richard sent a different Brad to start the painting. Brad was professional, courteous and did a fantastic job. Everything came out great and I will certainly be using them for any painting needs in the future.

Although I decided not to go ahead with my painting project; this company came out to my house the very next day after calling theme. Jack was really professional and knowledgeable of his trade

A-Best is the best. I am a 'rehabber' and was looking for a new painter and found them on Angie's List. The first project was re-painting the exterior of a cottage. Spoke with Jack, who does the estimates, who showed up on time ( very rare when dealing with contractors), got me an estimate in a few days and they started a week later. They were so good that I had them stay around a few extra days to paint the inside of the cottage and another apartment in building. Since then they have done numerous other jobs, including painting both the interior and exterior of my house, the interior of a few other apartments. Most recently they painted the exterior of two, 10-unit multi-family buildings. And again, A-Best showed why they are the best - as during both these rehabs I was crazy busy pushing the lingering tenants to move out, managing my other contractors who were demo'ing the apts, tiling, wall-boarding, etc. etc and A-Best realized I had a lot going on and did was great contractors do - they did their job and made sure that everything was taken care of. Their crew is friendly, very efficient - ie. dont waste time taking breaks/smoking and go far above the call of duty and do the little things prepping the building & taking care to do a great job plus leaving the job-site spotless. Richard and Tom, the owners are unbelievable hands-on and their #1 priority is to make you the customer happy. Like I said - the are the best!

Extremely satisfied. A gentleman showed up when we called to look at the job. We got the quote quickly. We agreed to the job. 3 people showed up on time and with the paint we asked for. They carefully moved all the furniture and covered with plastic. They had all the equipment including ladders etc to reach and went on the task of painting in a precise and orderly manner. All rooms got a second coat and if necessary 2 coats. They cleaned up and were gone. They were concentrated and efficient. It was important that it was not just one person or this may have taken a few days. Had I attempted this myself I doubt I would have done half as good and maybe would still be in the first room. This is what you should expect and this is what you get. Very professional and well worth the cost.

A-Best Painting Contractors Last year I got a quote from A-Best Painting Contractors his bid was higher than other professional painters. I hired the lower bidder..I knew right away that I SHOULD HAVE HIRED A-Best Painting Contractors The company I hired were a nightmare! I made the same mistake last week I hired my maintenance men at my condo to paint my bedroom?. It was terrible they didn?t prepare the walls I told them that they needed to fix but the said they couldn?t?....so?I called Richard the owner of A-Best Painting Contractor on Saturday and told him my problem. He said that on Monday he could have a Debbie come out patch and repaint the room?? She was on time and she did a great job! This is a great company... I will hired them again! THANKS RICHARD AND DEBBIE!

I could not be more happy with the results! The entire crew of A-Best was amazing! Starting with Richard who was our primary contact with this company, down to every single guy that worked on my house. They did an absolutely great job! They were fast, responsible and clean. They had a big challenge due to a pergola that is attached to the back of the house and they could not stand on it to paint the upper walls, but they managed to work through it with causing any damage to it! I will definitely use this company again to do the interior painting of my house in a near future.

Work has been done better that agreed and promised. Worksite was cleaned like painters were never there. He went over and beyond to make sure that the job is done right and we are satisfied. I would definitely recommend A-Best Painting to anyone. They do job right and as promised. Extremely satisfied. Would use them again.

I cannot say enough about how positive my experience with A-Best Painting has been, from start to finish. Absolutely everyone I worked with was friendly, accommodating, professional, and eager to help with whatever concern I had. I tend to be concerned with details, and they went above and beyond to do small tasks that really were not part of their job description. They removed 4 satellite dishes from the roof and repaired the damage from them so that the exterior paint job looked flawless in the end. They did the same with the exterior cables we didn't need. They did the same with removing the decorative boards inside, repairing the wall so well that there is not indication those boards were ever there. Not just Richard, but every painter--Eddie, Debbie, Tom--all had YES as their overall attitude. They attended to every detail in their own work, double-checking continuously to make sure the job was done right, and they graciously helped me remove and reinstall closet doors (just for example) on those areas of the house I had decided to paint myself. My experience with A-Best was so positive that I have contracted them for work at my old house to get it ready to rent as well as doing additional work at this house. I would HIGHLY recommend them. You'll say, just as Tom says whenever he's pleased with the clean trim line he's just painted, "Lovely!"
