Michael was great! He was able to get me in between so much of the work he has to do due to the hurricanes. He arrived head of schedule, got to work and replaced my damaged tiles. They look like they’ve always been there! Will definitely call him again for any more floor work I have to do.

Two day after flooring was installed I heard cracking ans snapping when riding my electric chair over the floor I ask Mike about and he said it was small stones cracking under the Laminate I ask him if he should put a barrier first he said no it wouldn't be need ed.. well needless to say it was need as the pictures will show

We were in a bind as our plans fell through because of HOA requirements and needed someone fast. I went on Anji and saw S&M, took a chance and Mike called within five minutes. He was professional and honest and his crew were too. They did a beautiful job of putting down a soundproofing underlayment and new flooring throughout our condo. They even hauled away the old floors and pricing was very fair too. They left the condo clean and we're responsible and respectful. We are renovating our kitchen. When we removed the existing kitchen island and cabinets, there were some areas that had no hardwood flooring. We had some left over pieces from the previous owner but also bought some replacement planks. Full transparency - not exactly the same as the original, but that is not the complaint. We asked them to "feather-in" the replacements within the existing blanks. They did not - there are straight seams across most spots. They also did very strange, small cut pieces that do not match any of the existing floor. I wish I could upload photos. Scheduling communication was bad which should have been a red flag. They also realized they had taken some of our contractors equipment - a shop vac they thought was theirs. We caught that but missed some of shop vac accessories. I reached out to Michael to get them returned and received no response. They were supposed to return in a couple of days but did not.

Extremely happy with the whole process from Day 1. Michael came by the 1st day I requested estimates. He, along with his team, first solved a bedroom flooring issue then picked up & installed my flooring. I look forward to hiring him again.

Right from the first phone call we made to S&M Summer was extremely helpful with with different flooring options that would allow us to stay with in our budget. Michael has a wealth of knowledge about flooring and was more than happy to share it all with us and really put my wife and I at ease knowing we were dealing with a professional. S&M did a beautiful job on my living room , kitchen and hallway. His crew we're always respectful and kept the work neat. They gave us a daily brief on what they were doing for the day. We are Professors at Nova University. We bought wood from Mr. Layne at S&M flooring and contracted them to install for us. It has been the worst experience of our lives.? Usually, We always try and give the benefit of doubt to small businesses and that's why we went with S&M flooring. But they are unethical, unprofessional and I am sorry to say, they lie out of their teeth. First, they cancelled our installation at the last minute giving a very flimsy excuse, second they did not deliver the materials we ordered from them on time and some materials not at all.? We had to undergo a lot of stress and heart ache because of their behavior. Please stay away from this business , they try and sweet talk you at the outset and then become non responsive.?

Totally unreliable. Called for an estimate. We were a bit distant so I made sure to check that they would service our area. They said they would be happy to. Time set up for estimate. Rearranged schedule to meet their time. They called -postponed the appointment. They then called again and said that they would not be coming at all because of the distance. Remarkably unprofessional imo.

I had laminate flooring installed by another contractor....it was laid improperly resulting in damage to the floors. I contacted Mike and Summer at S and M Hardwood to repair damaged wood in my kitchen. They gave me an estimate and his crew arrived on Thursday, December 17 to make the repairs.....during the repairs, it was discovered I had a leak from a sink, and the repairs were put on hold until the leak was repaired. I was hosting a party for my family on Saturday at 3:00 and I was preparing myself that the repairs would not be completed in time for the party.....the floor had to dry out....Kyle and Chuck brought a dehumidifer to my house at 8:00 Thursday night to help dry out the floor. They returned on Friday at 3:00, determined that the floor was dry enough, and proceeded to make the needed repairs and properly prepare my floors for the laminate to be laid correctly. No one at the party was the wiser that just 12 hours earlier, I had no kitchen floor.....but I was quick to let them know what had happened and the great lengths Mike and his crew went to make this happen for me. I cannot stress enough how professional, prompt, courteous, and efficient Mike and his crew handled this situation for me. They could see how much stress I was experiencing. Not only was I hosting a party the next day, but my daughter and her husband and 8 month old baby were coming in that Friday night. As they were working, they kept reassuring me they would be done by 7:00 when I needed to leave to pick them up at the airport. And they were true to their word....they completed the job, put all appliances back in place and I headed to the airport marveling at what just happened in the last day and a half. I will be hiring Mike and his crew after the first of the year to correctly re-install the rest of the laminate floor in my home. From my experience, you will be pleased that you worked with this company.
