Their job was excellent! My home looks brand new! They took window coverings and pictures down, moved furniture and put everything back when painting was complete. Very detailed oriented and thorough. They also rescreened my Lanai, replaced rotten trim wood, patched walls prior to painting, removed and replaced storm doors. The list goes on and on! Highly recommend.

Jim estimated it would be 4 days, got it done in 3. So, I had him paint some more. I couldn’t be more pleased with their work. They were on time and did a very professional job. It looks wonderful!

I had a ceiling in my sunroom that had signs of water damage from a repaired roof leak. Since Jim did both woodworking and painting, I had him come over and evaluate if I could repair and keep the wood ceiling or if I was better off painting it. After review it was decided painting would be my best option due to the condition of the wood. The ceiling required sanding, priming and three coats of paint, but looks wonderful. Would highly recommend Jim's Kustom Painting.

This was the second time I used Jim's Kustom Painting. He had come previously to paint areas needing touch up from roofers having been at my home. He did such a great job that I decided to call him again to come and paint my pool decking. While he was at my home, I inquired about some areas on my home that needed repair and repaint that I had not seen before. He knew exactly what was causing the issues and how to fix it so that it didn't continue to happen. He made sure any area he painted was free of defect, if not he repaired it. He put two coats of paint on each surface and rolled them out as well digging out around the foundation to paint there as well. His attention to detail, his knowledge, his professionalism, and his work ethic make him one of the best service providers I have ever hired. I would and will hire him again for any paint job I might have. I highly recommend him.

We hired Jim 16 years ago to paint our house and rehired him yet again as his quote was tops. As before, his paint job was fantastic which has also now been confirmed by several of our neighbors. To boot, we had Jim and his crew replace a lot of our aging, rotted wood siding which was not an easy task to perform on a two-story home. Our house once again looks terrific thanks to Jim and his crews hard work. I would recommend this business once again, especially when it comes to painting.

Jim was very responsive. Came out within days of my call and had the job done and done right! His pricing is so reasonable and he paints the way a house should be painted. We were installing a new tile roof and needed the upper roof trim and fascia painted before the tile was installed. Two story, high roof. Jim was able to do the job immediately and diid a great job. We then decided to do the whole house and Jim completed the job in just 9 days. Pressure washed entire house. Sealed, applied two coats of very good paint and did a lot of extras. Excellent professional results at a fair price. Highly recommend Jim Maines.

We cannot recommend Jim's Kustom Painting highly enough!! Jim and Rich worked diligently and professionally to get the job done quickly and with the highest degree of quality. They were courteous and responsive to our requests, and they even repainted areas that had been done less professionally a year ago by another company. Jim was not satisfied with the job upon completion until he had gone over everything, looking for needed touchups and missed spots. We are going to have him paint our interior in a few months. We found him to be a man of the highest integrity (and "old school" service), and we wish we could find people like him for other projects we need done.

We had some stains and thought our ceiling in several rooms would have to be painted. Had one other estimate and he was extremely expensive and really didn’t want the job. Jim came in and had 2 options and really thought he could repair the stain w/o painting and he was successful! Saved us hundreds of $.

Jim’s Kustom Painting is STUPENDOUS!!! No rating can be high enough for this man! From the moment we contacted him for an estimate, he came out almost immediately… Thoroughly examined every inch of the house inside and out and gave us an amazingly LOW quote… Then stood by it (dollar for dollar) - even after two weeks of hard work and lots of free time he put into into the project, just because he’s so professional and detail-oriented! Jim and his team started within days once we gave him the “green light” and worked non-stop until every inch of the house was PERFECTLY PAINTED and patched-up. He didn’t leave a single corner or detailed untouched! Patiently and diligently, he took down all of the wall art, moved furniture, covering/taping all nooks and crannies, removing all door knobs and outlets, then placed everything back in it’s original place perfectly - like he wasn’t even there… But, OH! he was there alright… All the rooms, closets and doors looked 1,000 times better after his fresh coat of paint. The garage looked FABULOUS after his multi-layer latex paint... You can literally EAT off that floor now (almost a shame to park your car there now). Outside, he took his time prepping and power-washing, sealing off any/all cracks (big or small) and fixing any stucco issues, caulking up any unsealed spots where moisture could accumulate… Really REALLY took his time! Then once he started painted the exterior, you could tell that the entire house would look BRAND NEW! An absolutely AMAZING JOB and even more AMAZING PROFESSIONAL! You can’t ask for better service than Jim’s Kustom Painting! Thanks again Jim! You're the best!!! ;-)

Jim did a great job. He is very detailed, clean and our home looks like new. You get what you pay for and if you want a professional job and have your home looking new he is the one to do the job. He will make any repairs required if so desired. He is dependable and has made our home beautiful inside and out. Neighbors have commented on how nice the home looks. Jim power washed the stucco and then repaired all the cracks so that you would not know there was a crack. Great prep work for painting. He put a primer over everything even slightly below grade on the walls. He applied the paint meticulously and held my color scheme. We were using three colors because the trim and window frame areas were different colors than the walls. The carpentry over the porch went well and he even painted our outdoor ceiling fan. For quality work at a fair price Jim is the man. Thank you, Jim!

Things always go well with Jim and his assistant, Rich. They had worked on my house four years ago and what they did then with quality paints still looks good even with four years of Florida sunshine. Jim addressed my current needs with enthusiasm to please me. I had some uncommon surfaces to paint, but, with Jim's years of experience and some experimenting he came up with the right method to paint the material. In addition to giving the house a premium paint job, Jim and his crew went above and beyond to prepare the house for painting, including completing a couple of exterior repairs that were supposed to have been done by the handyman and painting the back patio slab, which really needed it.
