My experiences with Donna's Cleaning Angels was okay. I've used them several times. They started off really great, but the last couple of times we used them, they've been slacking. They've left things that they normally are really good at cleaning. Most of the staff are quite professional. There are one or two who are not, and I did speak to Donna about them. I won't be using them, unless I was pinch and no one else was available. I would watch them and do a thorough inspection before they left.

I was concerned about using them before even tho they had done a good job because they weren't covered by workman's comp. They are now so I feel very comfortable having them clean my house. The girls were prompt, cheerful, and efficient. They barely took 15 minutes for lunch and left my house feeling and smelling great. I will be using them regularly.

Please be aware that the owner, Donna, will talk a very good story when she comes to give you an estimate on cleaning, and tell you all these things that her company will do that your other cleaning companies haven't done. Get her to put it in writing - for whatever good that will do. Get a written estimate, her worker's compensation, business license, and her insurance and bonding. Ask if she does background checks on all of her employees. I realize there's probably a large turnover rate of employees in this occupation, but my husband said there were new people almost every time they came to clean the house. If you do hire this company, leave the tip for the cleaning personnel separate from the payment. I mistakenly placed them both in the same envelope when I first started with this company. One day when I was home sick, I made reference to the staff about their tip, and I could tell by their expressions, that they had no idea what I was talking about. After that, I always placed their tip in a separte envelope. Also, if you read the articles in some of the neighborhood "newpapers", know that they're just advertisements for these companies being displayed - not factual news articles. Please know the poor scores are mainly for the owner/administrative staff, and not for Ilea, our team leader who tried so hard to do the work with what she had, new employees to orientate every time she came to the house, while trying to do her work that needed to be done, working on a time line, and getting to their next job on time. Ilea was wonderful, and this company is very fortunate to have someone of her calibre working for them. The quality of the work did suffer with new employees every time, bathroom counters were left with wet streaks clearly visible to where they needed to be wiped off again, this would make my makeup mirror with a felt lining stick to the counter and pull off the felt everytime, and items around the whirlpool tub and sink were not cleaned underneath or dusted. A knife set in the kitchen was routinely not cleaned - I would have to clean it everytime, the top of the refrigerator that was supposed to be cleaned everytime they came, has not been cleaned in not sure how long, etc., etc. Just overall poor quality of a rushed job, or someone who doesn't know any better, or just doesn't care. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Supposedly it took 3 people 2.5 hours to clean my 2 bedroom 2 bath townhouse and I advised that I didn ot need them to touch the 2nd bedroom and bath at all.

When I initially got an estimate, she told me $450 for the first cleaning and $110 every two weeks. I thought the initial cleaning price was way too much!!!!! This was with a $50 discount. Just out of my price range. I believe they would have been thorough, but they were not insured and bonded. If I'm going to pay that type of money, I might as well have a company that's insured and bonded, so I decided to go with another company.

The woman who owns it is Donna Ferrante. I told her what I needed done and she gave me a price. The girls took longer than originally estimated, but they did work hard while they were here. They come once a month and charge per visit. They charge $21 per girl per hour. They usually send out two girls. They pay attention to detail and they do not rush or skim over things. I get a pretty thorough cleaning. They are courteous and leave things the way they should be. I have never had any problems. The girls use their own cars. The last time someone was supposed to come out their car broke down on the highway, and they were unable to keep their appointment. They kept in touch with me the whole time and told me that they would be here within 20 minutes. I knew what was going on. We ended up rescheduling that appointment.

Did not hire

They are excellent. They come every two weeks. I think they have been here about four times. I have read reviews on them that said they were great - they really are. They are the best. I am fifty seven and have had cleaning maids for years and they are the best I have ever had. I highly recommend them. Right now it costs me $75, but if I had them doing more, like my porch and another bedroom, it might probably be a $100 but I want to keep it at $75. I am in a condo. They are very thorough. They clean floors, toilets and everything. They are fantastic. I would rate them highly and would continue to use them.

Angel is very friendly, punctual, and detail oriented.
