The deal that I purchased was $1,299 for pressure wash and painting of a 1,500 sq foot house. My main house is about 1,700 square feet, so I knew they would be adding on some amount for that I just didn't know exactly how much. I have a 600 sq foot separate garage/apartment that I wasn't really expecting to paint. The fine print of the deal said it can be a one or a two story house, but when I was contacted they told me that was only for a one story house. I was encouraged by the sales person to paint my detached garage/apartment but there are decorative plants growing on it that I didn't want to have to remove. So we agreed to add just the front wall of that building, which is probably around 150 square feet or so. So now we were up to around 1,850 square feet. The new quote given over the phone was $3,900 and he said he couldn't go any lower. I asked him to email me with it but I never got it unless it went to my spam folder, which is where I would leave it. I didn't think the deal should have gone from $1,299 for a 1,500 sq ft house, to $3,900 for 1,850 sq feet. Another Angie's List company I checked charges $1.50 per additional square ft. So if this company would have charged that amount, or even $2.00 per square feet it still would have been around $2,000. Just in case the white glove company response is that my house needed a lot of work, I can say that I hired a different company to do the job through Angie's list but this time it was for a 2,500 square foot house. They came out and did the job with no additional charges. So the bottom line is I have no comment about the quality of their work, based on other reviews I'm sure it's fine. My only comment is that the up charge based on the amount of additional work needed was disproportionately high.

Dear [Member name removed], We really appreciate you rating us an "A" in Responsiveness and an "A" in Punctuality. We definitely value our clients time and we always strive accommodate their scheduling needs and arrive to scheduled appointments on time. I also appreciate the fact that you noticed our great reviews from other customers on Angie's List and that you were confident about the quality of our work. You're absolutely right. Quality is our number one concern. In a market where so many contractors sacrifice quality to make a quick buck, we shine out from the competition because we will NOT compromise on quality under any circumstances. This is why as you brought out, we have the glowing reviews that we do. Because of our high standards we have to bid every job differently, because of the preparation work involved. You live in a historic home which was painted over improperly many times in the past. There is extreme flaking paint which requires extensive preparation work, which is needed to provide a permanent solution to your problem. This is why your house was priced accordingly. Also please keep in mind that the Angie's List Big Deal states that the paint is not included and will be an additional charge. I am truly sorry that you felt that it was too much. I can't speak for anyone else's work, but I know if you would have given us the opportunity to work on your home, you would have seen the difference in the preparation work that we would have provided you. At that point you would have known that you were getting a great value for your money. Your house didn't just need a "paint job" it needed a "restoration job". We also provide a 7 year Material and Labor warranty so you can have further peace of mind to know that we will stand behind our work 100%. Please call me when you get a chance so we can discuss this further. The last thing we want is a customer to feel like they didn't get treated fairly. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Michael Monisera Pres. White Glove Painting & Sons

The crew that performed the painting was excellent. I couldn't ask for a better contractor and the workers were beyond my expectations. They did a great job and I was so please with the whole process of having the house painted. Very professional and could not have asked for a better company to do the painting for the house. Thank you Mike for all your great work. Would not hesitate to use them again.

First, I researched many house painters, and used some of them off of Home Advisors.com ( bad move). It did not go well. Last year I selected Certapro painters to paint the entire interior of another home. Certapro, in every category was horrible. Workers never showed, different workers showed up on different days, spoke no english at all, sometimes only 1 worker would show. Moreover, the work was atrocious. The cutting around windows and doors was jagged, a blind man could have done it better. Blotchy areas where only one coat was applied, spilled paint on sills, floor, sloppy work. Had to have them back 4 times to attempt to fix the screw ups. . Enough of Certapro, The opposite of Certapro is White Glove Painting. Clean, same crew everyday, spoke english, sharp lines, found things I didnt even see and took their time. By far the best painters Ive ever hired. This was a big job and it was done on time with alot of the credit going to the Foreman, Jose. A meticulous, hard working, caring worker. All of his crew were A1 proffesionals. Upon completion we received a visit from the owner to confirm we were happy and satidfied. I was so impressed I am having them paint the exterior. They are my go to painters from now on, you will not be dissapointed.

from the first meeting with Micheal Monisera I felt that this was going to be a quality vendor. Micheal showed up on time to review the work to be done and formulate a quote. He was responsive through the entire selection process with additional information even going so far as to make speedy adjustments to the proposal as our needs evolved. Mike brought his foreman Romen in to meet me and I was again impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness. The day the work began the crew was in communication with me all morning keeping me aware of their progress. throughout the two weeks of work the gentlemen conducted themselves in an orderly and professional manner achieving the pre determined milestones along the way. Romen was all over it the whole way!!! having intimate knowledge of every part of the job and being able to answer any and all questions I had along the way. I use many different vendors for many different projects constantly in motion and am rarely as impressed at the completion of a project as I am during the quoting process, sufficed to say that with white glove I was. They are responsible, capable professionals who work in a neat and organized manner and complete their projects in a timely manner as agreed. I will absolutely use them in the future as my permanent default vendor for all my painting needs.

The company was extremely professional and courteous. They made my house look better than I had ever imagined! They took the time to ask the details I didn't even know about, then explained the reasons for such work. After being very informative was not pushy, or rude. They gave me the amount (which was well priced) and expedited work. They finished the house in excellent time but still didn't miss a single detail! I would highly recommend this company!

The service was excellent! Mike and (who I later learned was...) his sister came to our house on 9/1/2015 to do a free estimate. They were both very professional and polite. They gave me a reasonable quote, as well as letting me know they would do a lot of the touch-up stuff on the walls around the door if I had the paint. They would provide the paint for the door. Lucky for me, I had the touch-up paint, so I was VERY happy they included that. They were even able to schedule me in for the next day to get the job done! So on 9/2/2015, a different man came to paint the house. I wish I could remember his name (Hopefully if Mike or someone from White Glove sees this, they can give his name), but he was a also very nice and sociable. He took the time to let me know what he was doing each step of the way so I wasn't left in the dark just waiting for the end result. He took the care to make sure everything that should not get paint on it (door handles and locks, floors, shoes, etc.) were well covered and/or protected from paint. He did everything that was contracted for and with excellent quality! In addition to painting the doors, he applied caulking to the areas around the door where the baseboards were a little shaken from the door installation, painted areas on the interior walls with the touchup paint (as mentioned earlier) and the exterior walls. The job was very clean and professionally done. Towards the end of the job, I was actually in a video-conference for work, and the man (I really wish I remembered his name, but I am bad with names), actually waited a few minutes for me to finish instead of interrupting me during the meeting. I wanted to give the whole scenario, but to summarize: polite, professional, courteous, and will DEFINITELY call them when we have another painting job in the future.

Dear Mr. [Removed member name], $800. minus the 10% Angie's list discount comes to $720. That price includes removal of All wallpaper in a Master Bedroom, Bathroom and Guest Bedroom. Maybe your not aware of this, but anyone who knows about removing wallpaper knows how extensive that kind of work is. They also know that once the wallpaper is removed there usually is excess glue that has to be removed and the walls need to be repaired with drywall mud and sanded to repair the damages caused by the removal of the wallpaper. All of this extensive work was included in your quote. I am confident that anyone reading this will know that $720. is extremely fair for that kind of work and that we did not try and rip you off. I am really sorry you feel that way. I did try and reach out to you by calling you on the phone to try and work something out with you but you didn't even give me the opportunity to speak. I called back and left a message that even though I feel the price is extremely fair I would still be willing to work with you. Hopefully you get the message and you give us the opportunity. P.S. I know you told me that you were planning on painting the walls yourself and as we discussed in person, I separated the painting from the wallpaper removal as a separate option so you could make a decision to either do it yourself, or have us do it for only $450. for 3 rooms with the Angie's list discount. P.S.S We came to your house on a Thursday and sent you the proposal the following day, on Friday. Less than 24 hours later.

Provided estimate in March. Paid deposit. Many delays due to other contractor work on the house. They kept in touch throughout the delays. Finally painted over the last week. I was out of town most of the time, but my neighbor observed that they worked nonstop each day. The lines around the window and door trim were perfect. We did a walk around the house and the few tiny issues were fixed immediately. I had a little water damage in my kitchen and they added that on and made it perfect in 90 minutes. Two days after, a monster thunderstorm blasted my house like a firehouse. On the first floor a large water leak occurred above recently installed sliding glass doors, on the inside of the bedroom. It seemed liked too much of a coincidence, so I asked them to inspect their recent caulking. I was out of the country, and received this email: "Hey mike, just wanted to give you an update. We inspected the slider by your master bedroom on the 1st floor and as you said the caulking is fine. We then took it a step further, got up on a ladder and inspected the windows above the master bedroom and looked down and found extreme rotted wood which had deep holes going right through it and probably down to the master, which is more than likely how the water was getting in. The best way to permanently fix this problem is to get a carpenter to come out and replace the wood or even better have the window guy replace those two windows back there on the second floor. They were both rotted really bad. However we did the best we could by patching the rotted wood areas with Bondo and putting the elastomeric waterproofing patch on them. I hope this will prevent the water from coming in. I can't guaranty it though, because there is only so much we can do with patching something that really should be replaced but it's definitely worth a shot. I am curious to know if what we did worked or not so let me know after the storm what the situation Is. I appreciate it." They didn't have to do anything, but went above and beyond at no charge. That says it all about White Glove Painting.

Mike came out on Friday gave an estimate and was ready to go by Saturday super quick turn around and they did an awesome job. I was going to do it myself but honestly for the price it was just easier to let a pro handle it. I just went out and watched a movie had a day out with the family and when i came home it was like a new place. They cleaned up after themselves and did a fantastic job for a great price. I couldn't have asked for a better result. They even painted one little bathroom that i hadn't previously hadn't asked them to do but had changed my mind and they didn't charge me any extra. Thanks White Glove Painting!

Of about 5 companies that we had come to our house to give us quotes on the job that our newly renovated house required, White Glove made not only the best first impression but a lasting one. Two representatives came to the house to take pictures and survey the work that we needed done. They were prompt, wearing company shirts, they presented their business cards immediately prior to entering the house, and recorded all of our special requests. They came to the house on a Friday, we received a quote over the weekend, and they sent a crew to our house by Wednesday to get started (it would have been Monday but we requested Wednesday). Our job was a big one and included skim coating all the walls of a 1900 square foot house, priming, and painting all rooms. The crew that worked on our house consisted of three extremely polite and professional guys showing up on time every day, working long hours, and respectfully working around other people doing odd jobs in our house. Upon final inspection they walked around the house with us to ensure our satisfaction. Any areas that needed "touching up" were completed before they left the job. The owner, Mike, was readily available by phone when needed, returned calls, and answered questions in a timely manner. All payments were handled easily and effectively. We were highly satisfied with the work done throughout our house and the crew that came in to do it! Money very well spent! Overall, White Glove was one of the better experiences we have had throughout the entire renovation process. I have already recommended them to a friend and if our renovation project leads us to an exterior paint adventure we will be sure to use White Glove again!

I knew I would love this company when Mike and his sister came and listed all of the areas I wanted to take care of. Mike took notes listening carefully explaining to me how all of my requests throughout my house would be addressed. The paint team were professional & dependable and came each morning on a timely manner using drop clothes throughout the house. Everything was put back in place and left as it was. The work is impeccable with precision. I had not only my walls completed, but vaulted ceiling, all of the doors and all of the trim around the doors plus the base boards...which was ALL done to perfection. Michael told me about a bead line that they use on the top of the walls to make a straight perfect line where the walls meet the ceiling; and it is PERFECT!! I found a couple of spots that needed attention, and they came right away and took care of it for free. This is a company that is named appropriately, White Glove, as they are just that. White glove stands by their product. Glenn is a fine artist with his expertise creating faux finishes; I love my new banister. I would not hesitate to call them to do additional work that I may have in the future. I recommend this company highly to anyone who wants a perfect complete paint job. Thank you Mike, your Sister, and Glenn and the entire paint team!!! Job well done!!!

Overall I was very pleased with White Glove Painting's job and would highly recommend them to others looking for a great quality paint job. From the start these guys seemed like the most interested in doing a good quality job compared to other painting contractors I had contacted. Roman and his crew worked for 4 days prepping and painting our house, all along the way stopping to ask exactly what we were looking for in different areas of the house. The crew seemed to be very pleasant to communicate with, no attitudes as I've had in the past with some contractors. They were truly interested in getting the details correct and making sure that we were pleased all along during the painting process. It was a pleasure having Roman and his crew providing their expertise opinions on the job and in the end our house really looked like a new house! The front office guys were also a pleasure to work with, as they handled the multiple delays I had without issues (due to previous wood siding contractors that dragged their feet and ended up doing a mediocre job fixing my house). In the end they also agreed to do some extra painting for free on some pipes for my solar water heater, which was an extra added bonus. One area of the process that did not go as planned was working to the pre-negotiated price we had agreed upon. When they came to my house prior to the job, they were able to visualize the amount of wood rework and window frame rework (every window had a new window frame installed), they re-quoted the job to me at a higher rate. Although I don't normally allow a contractor to change the price just before the start of the job, I feel the extra prep work that was required for the amount of wood rework we had justified the price increase and I agreed to it. Plus I could see that these guys were genuinely interested in giving me the best quality job, so in the end I was fine with the price increase. The crew leader Roman told me before he left that if I needed anything to be fixed, to call them back and they would come out and fix things. After walking around the job in detail afterwards, there really were no items that required them to come back to the house. I did find that every window had some degree of paint overspray on it, and I decided to scrape and clean the windows off myself, although I believe they would have easily come back to fix that issue. Luckily I had also removed the screens prior to the start of the job to avoid the potential for damage / paint overspray, so cleaning the windows and the window frames was a little easier. My recommendation if they are painting your house is to ask them to mask off all windows before spraying to avoid the overspray issue - I'm certain they won't have an issue doing this. However, this was a minor thing in my opinion and these types of issues are expected for a job this large. Overall I would highly recommend these guys!

This is a fiasco. First of all I was quoted 6000K to paint the inside of my house which included painting a white ceiling to a beige ceiling. When I first received the quote, it did not include the stairs or the laundry room and media room (tiny). Since the winter folks weren't in town yet, Mike said he could start on it right away. I asked him to come through again because we were going to add the stairs and 2 rooms. He told me this long story about price, paint, etc. and said he needed half the money up front and oh, now it's 12 THOUSAND DOLLARS! What was I to do? He already had 6 THOUSAND dollars of my money - cancel? Too late. It was a hassle dealing with Mike. He was angry because I questioned him about the money. He then said that he'd cut it by 4 grand if we didn't use a darker color for the ceiling so of course there were a TON of problems which he just kept adding to our total until -- wait for it--- the total cost was again TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS! We had problems with wall consistency - many were not prepared very well. (We had wall paper taken down and the walls smoothed - (from another company) and those were the ONLY walls that didn't look bad! We have paint dropping all over our green carpet (pictured) they missed part of a 8 foot ceiling and we had to repaint one of the closets because even though we pointed it out to them 3 times - they just never finished it right. It's just a closet ceiling!!!! There were a ton of places there were missed and Roman had his guys DID fix most of it. There were places that weren't done well - like the stairs. The paint colors were another major problem. We couldn't find the colors that matched our furniture from Sherwin Williams (a fine paint) so we asked if we could use paint from Lowe's or Home Depot (we were using an eggshell type paint so we can wash the fingerprints off the walls of our foster kids) and after several DAYS of going back and forth with them (they kept 'trying' to match the colors with Sherwin Williams paint - but it wasn't even close to the color we needed) they finally said fine, use a different brand of paint. (We used Sherwin Williams paint also if we could find the right colors) and guess which ones looks the best? NOT Sherwin Williams! And why would that be? Because they used the wrong paint! How hard is it to use eggshell??? And with the color problems (until they finally bought the same type/brand paint that the colors were originally from) were a week long hassle. Mike and Leticia were okay, but I'd never use this company again because I feel they took advantage of us. We were charged an extra 6 THOUSAND for adding stairs, and 2 small rooms with little wall space. I was caught in a bind because Mike upped the price and he already had my check so I was stuck. I tried to get the money back and cancel but he would not allow me to do that. Mike said it was going to cost so much because I wanted a darker ceiling. So even after changing it to a light (matching the ceiling color already there so it was easier to paint) color, I was STILL charged an additional 6 GRAND. So I let it go and actually hired them again many months later for a small job of painting the eaves on our house because we are fairly new to Florida and needed a painter asap. $2500 dollars later and it wasn't done right either. So I gave up on them. Then I wrote this review. Then the fun started. I originally left out the other tiny outside job I hired them for because I just forgot to put it in. (That's what I get for not checking my review before posting). So when Mike said in his response he would have 'made things right' by not charging me for the eaves, He did. He wrote us a check for the cost of the outside job of $2500.00. He said that if I had told him how unhappy I was with the work inside the house he would have done the outside job for free. The 2nd job was done months after the inside job. However, unexpectedly showing up at my house unannounced TWICE and waiting for me behind my driveway and then approaching me when I went out to get my mail, freaked me out. As did the visit from Mike's mom. And the time they stopped by to talk to my husband unannounced. And we live in PGA! I didn't mind the emails explaining the businesses history either. And the fruit basket they sent was very nice. But nonstop calling of my husband at work until this review was redone was unwarranted. It's been only 5 days since you stopped by unannounced in our driveway and physically gave my husband a check for $2500.00. We were told that since my review has been posted that the calls for jobs from Angie's list has gone down. . So it was important they 'made things right' with us. Whatever. This is a company that is very concerned over the reviews it receives especially when it costs them business. I can't blame them but I was really scared to go outside for a while for fear they would be waiting for me. Nice that they tried to 'make things right' with me but this whole stalking us thing really scared me. I would never use this company ever again. Typical Florida company. If you have a nice house, the price is triple. Beware of this company.

This is NOT an accurate representation of our company. This review is extremely shocking to me. I say this for multiple reasons. You are referring to the work that we did the first time for you on the interior of your home a year ago. You have never expressed any sort of dissatisfaction to me. Additionally, there are several statements in that review that are untrue. One of which was the most disturbing to me, you said that I refused to give you your money back. You NEVER requested a refund, and if you had, I would have immediately reimbursed your money in full! As I would with any customer. Romen the Forman of the crew that worked on your house for three weeks and showed me a beautiful letter that you wrote him, and signed, regarding the amazing work ethic he has, the outstanding job we did on your home and I quote from your letter, THESE ARE YOUR WORDS: "While on the job both he and his crew took extreme care in all aspects of their work. From choosing the colors to what products best suited our needs. I would like to compliment Roman and his crew on their professionalism from appearance on the job to their onsite behavior. His crew worked expeditiously without interrupting any flow of work. Over the years we have had many contractors who did not live up to the agreed upon terms and it was a constant battle to reach some sort of completion. Not only is Roman's of the highest quality, the price quoted was the best value of the quotes we received. His expertise allowed me to see things I was not aware of and the result was a more complete and professional job. Please feel free to use us as a reference for any future customers who may have concerns about your ability to perform to their expectations." In reading this letter you wrote, it's clear that you were completely satisfied with the quality of work and the price you received. The men enjoyed the home baked cookies you gave them. We came to your home at the end of this first project to make sure you were 100% satisfied. You told us how relieved you were to have a good company working on your home because the last company who installed your wood floors and I quote "you felt bad for them because you put them out of business." You went so far as to say that you will give us a great review on Angie's List. Then, You called me back 6 months later to do the work on your exterior, which I was more than happy to do. We completed the job and you were satisfied. We pride ourselves in our customer satisfaction because that is always of the utmost importance. As I told you in the email I sent you, "If you would have let me know that you were unhappy when you called me back to do the exterior work on your house, I would have went so far as to do all the exterior work for free if I had to, in order to make you happy." Im glad you enjoyed the fruit basket we sent you. Although you are unwilling to communicate with us, I feel better knowing I handed your husband $2,500.00, (The total cost of the exterior work we completed on your home the second time). I feel confident that I did everything in my power to try and make whatever wrong you felt, right. We would never stalk our customers. This is a Family Business. We would however, reach out to a customer via email, phone, or stopping by in person to make things right, in order to make the homeowner completely satisfied. This is what our customers appreciate most about us, this is what sets us apart from other companies, that we will look to resolve any situation instead of running from it. This assurance has kept our clients using and referring us year after year. This is why we have the glowing reviews we have and the the Angie's List Super Service Awards we've won for the past two years in a row. This is the kind of company we have and customer satisfaction will always be our top priority.

Mike and his crew are professional and really easy to deal with. Mike came over to give me an estimate after 3 or 4 other people had already come. The price was the best but still competitive with the other folks. However, I was impressed with his professionalism yet down to earth style and low pressure approach. No sales tactics or gimmicks either. After contracting them, they arrived as scheduled and got to work the moment I opened the door to let them in. Roman, the foreman was a nice guy who reassured me everything I wanted done would get completed. And it did! They even went the EXTRA step with moving a washer and dryer unit out of the way for me as well as a couple other small things that other companies would not done. Overall, I had a great experience with them and would definitely recommend them as well as use them again. Thanks to Angie's List and other reviewers for their reviews which led me to them.

White Glove was a complete pleasure to work with. They were very flexible about scheduling and when work began they were prompt, quick and very professional. Their artist did a beautiful job working with us to design and paint a sea scape mural on our gue3st bathroom wall.
Description of Work: White Glove painted our master bedroom and bath, and also had their artist paint a beautiful mural on our downstairs guest bathroom.

We had some very minor issues but did not even call White Glove for a couple of months. Nevertheless, Mike came right out and had the touch up done very quickly. I highly recommend White Glove because the owner cares about quality and will have any minor issue corrected.

The crew that paint my place did and excellent job. I appreciated that the crew was open to my input and listened to my concerns. My contract called for "up to" 2 finish coats of paint. When it became apparent that the second coat would be necessary, White Glove came out and inspected the house. After reviewing the project, White Glove lived up to its contract and promise and put a full 2nd finish coat on the house, no additional charges. In the end I received as perfect a job as I could expect. The crew was very neat, clean, and friendly. Finally, WhiteGlove was punctual, followed up on phone calls, helped with paint selection, and was the most professional of the 4 bids I received. Thanks.

I found them on Angie's List. They were fantastic. Their work was excellent. They were neat, they came back when I saw a couple of things that I didn't like and fixed it. They got it to my specifications. I thought it was expensive but, if you want it done right sometimes it cost more.
Description of Work: White Glove Painting & Sons painted five rooms on the interior of my house.
