I called Over the Top Roof and Charlie,the owner, answered. My homeowners's insurance had only given me a 2 week window to get some shingles repaired or lose my insurance. At best I was hoping for an appointment so I could get an extension on the insurance deadline. Charlie said, "No, I'll get you worked in before the deadline." Each time I called as I was arranging my schedule to meet him there, I never got an answering machine. He uses his cell so he doesn't miss calls. He came to my house 3 days later and did the work. I only needed shingles replaced, but while he was up there he saw a couple of other repairs that needed to be done. He secured the vent ridge and revamped a flashing. He did not charge extra for the additional work. He had quoted me a minimum service fee ($250) but he did a maximum job. When it is time for me to replace this old roof, he is definitely going to be my roofer!

Charlie came out promptly when he said he was and gave a full analysis of the roof structure on the home that I was considering purchasing, his analysis was greatly important to me because this was going to be the roof that would keep my family safe for many years to come, his professionalism and overall knowledge of his trade is far greater then any other roofer I have encountered before. I have since then bought this home and had Charlie do some minor roof tile reseals. Also I am a small business owner and have used him to repair a leaking roof at my business that no other roofer could seem to repair for years. Charles was very polite and explained the repair in detail. My repair was expertly executed and in a timely manner. Charles pays special attention to detail. He cleans the repair area and you would never know any work was done. Charles is an expert in roof repairs. I will use him for all my roof repairs and recommend him very highly.

Charlie did an unbelievable job on my roof repair. I had a few roof leaks that needed to be addressed and he went above and beyond on the workmanship and material. Charlie did two jobs for me. First job was on a investment home that had a bad roofing job done by a large local roofing company. They removed soffit panels and did not put them back up when the roof was completed. They threw some away and damaged others. There was also soffit board that was damaged. I contacted Charlie about the issue of repairing the mistakes that the other company made. Charlie went to the home gave me a long detailed explanation of everything that was needed to make the repair and sent me an estimate. His knowledge on all things roofing was exceptional and far beyond anyone I had dealt with before. He completed the repairs on time and kept me up to date on the progress. I inspected his work after he was done and it was excellent. The house looked perfect. Not only did he fix the problems but he cleaned up the previous roofers mess and left the house in cleaner condition then when he got there!! I have been dealing with contractors for a long time and never have I had that happen. Charlie takes pride in his work and went above and beyond. Just after completing this project, I discovered a leak in my own home and knew immediately who to call. Charlie came out, found the leak within minutes and again went above and beyond by not only fixing the leak but shoring up other possible leak areas while he was on the roof. He did.not charge extra for the extra work he just genuinely seemed like he did not want to see us get another leak anytime soon. Usually I do not take the time to right reviews on contractors. Most that I have dealt with over promise and under deliver or do mediocre work. Charlie is the exception and shows he actually cares about the customer.
