Joe The Handyman

Joe delivered my headboard down the block and my boxes to WPB.

The sash chord needed to be untangled and he did a great job. He responded quickly, was very agreeable and I would recommend him to anyone.

Joe was very nice on the phone but said that he wound have to charge me $80.00 I am not willing to pay $80.00 The most I would consider is $50.00 So at present I have not found anyone who would do the job

Joe was fantastic! He was responsive, easy to schedule with, his pricing was very competitive, and he did a great job. We are very happy with his work and would recommend him to our friends.

Joe is an excellent service provider. He is friendly, low-key, and completely capable. We have called him twice for different problems with our house (built in 1891) and he has come up with excellent solutions each time

I was referred to Joe by his own sister. He answered when I called and I explained the job I needed completed. Very simple and straightforward. He was pleasant on the phone but, sadly, the work I needed completed falls into the “small job” category and this seems to be an issue, according to the negative reviews I’ve read here. “No Job Too Small” is a bad slogan since it seems many jobs ARE too small and you just never hear back from this company if that’s the case. Weeks have passed and we never got a call back about scheduling a date/time. The lack of follow up these days is so frustrating and it’s such poor business etiquette. I wish he’d just been honest and said he didn’t take on small jobs like what I needed. It would save me time and point me towards another business.

Joe and his team “ love Jen” came in completed new tile floor, new toilet and vanity. Very happy with outcome will hire Joe again.

Joe removed broken glass and replaced it promptly. He replaced and relocated the closer on the door so that it would be more effective. He said he would hunt for correct handles and latches and not to pay him until he had found and installed them. He was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. The doors look great, and we will definitely use his services again.

Not only is Joe responsive to my calls, and not only is the work perfect, I feel that I get some extras I don't pay for. Our medicine cabinet in out master bath was not closing properly, and though it took four weeks and checking at several different places to find the right hinges, Joe fund the and repaired the cabinet for much less than the replacement I was planning on getting would cost. Similarly, Joe doesn't install sump pumps, but his guidance and expertise helped me immensely in finding a decent contractor to do the job. I feel as a homeowner extraordinarily fortunate to find someone who can handle many of our problems, but who is also candid and helpful in helping me find solutions for the problems he doesn't handle. And the price is always almost too reasonable.

His price was reasonable and while other providers had long lead times for scheduling, he was able to get out within a few days at the time he had originally given. Please note Joe won't go up on ladders, but I plan to use him for all minor repairs, tenant turnover, and that sort of thing. Thanks Joe!

The handyman was prompt, polite and efficient.

Joe came to take a look, quoted me a great price, and told me he could come by sometime in the following two weeks. After two weeks had passed with no work done, I called him back to see when he could come by to do the work. Again, he told me he could do it sometime in the following two weeks. After an additional two weeks with no work done, I called and left a message to see if he was still planning on doing this job, and have no gotten a reply. This has delayed my project unnecessarily, as I didn't hire anyone else for this job while waiting. I'm not sure if this job was just too small for Joe, but I would find it much more professional for someone to be direct and let me know if they don't want the job rather than stringing me along.

Very satisfied - Joe was very prompt in communicating and scheduling the job, picked up the supplies for us at Home Depot as doors wouldn't fit in our car, was pleasant and professional, and finished the job as promised. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely hire again.

Joe got right to work and finished 6 small to medium tasks in one hour.

I have used him before. He has a very good way about him, he is knowledgeable and his work is excellent.

It was a good service, he was very courteous, he spent some time figuring out what to do, discuss the problems with me and he did the work and i was very pleased with the work that he did. He also did a very good paint matching job.
