Description of Work: I sent a message to Capps Roofing on August 26th and received a response the next day. I received a call from Roy Hampton on the afternoon of August 27th and he said that Mark Capps would call me early the next week to schedule a time to come and give an estimate for the roof repair. I did not hear from anyone and on Thursday September 3 I sent another message via Angie's List. I received a response the next day that read..."Hi , Sorry, we will contact you today. Have a great day.". They did not contact me! | |I'm not sure what the issue is or why they can't call when they say they will. I used their services last December and all went so well then. Their response was quick and my roof was repaired promptly. I paid them in full immediately following completion. I am very disappointed with their lack of communication this time around. If they can't help or choose not to, then they should have just said that and I would have called another company. But since I was so pleased with their services in December, I wanted to use their services again. I am now forced to look for another roofer as the damage has worsened and I now have a leak in my living room. I am NOT happy!

Description of Work: Total roof replacement from hail storm. Capps employees and management totally professional and courteous. They came when they said they would and took care of each and every little detail. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

Description of Work: They had an issue with our rooftop AC unit that they did not mention until the work was half completed. This added $6,000 to the job.

Description of Work: They installed 2 new, replacement skylights. The skylights were a brand I chose that they were unfamiliar with. (We chose the skylights because of the solar shade feature). However, Capps Roofing came highly recommended, so I pursued them. They agreed to install them. The crew was very meticulous. They laid everything out on the ground, to ensure they fully understood the installation prior to taking it up on the roof. The windows are beautiful! They did a great job. Probably a little higher price than some, but when your working on a roof, you want it to be right the 1st time, with no leaks. They were well worth the extra cost. I had them give me a price on a new roof, just to get an idea on cost, Which they did. However, they recommended I keep what I have; as much as 8-10 years left, based on present condition. I really appreciate that piece of honesty, which is another reason to get them for future work (along with the obvious quality workmanship). Easy people to deal with.

Description of Work: They caulked where needed on my shingle roof. They replaced 1 piece of wood & reshingled that area. They glued down all other shingles that were a little loose. They had the lowest quote and were very professional. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I called Capps to inspect my roof thinking I could reduce my insurance cost. Roy recommended not to do anything until the roof needs to be replaced. The cost of a new roof and the hardware necessary would not be cost effective and would cost so much that the insurance payback would be years. I would use Capps when the time comes and appreciate their honest professional opinion.

Description of Work: Repair and replacement of two flat roof areas. Price was higher than any other contractor but the quality of work and work ethic from the salesman to the currier, was excellent. The salesman worked with me on cost and scope of work to my satisfaction. There was an unfortunate situation caused by unexpected weather damage and Capps took every step needed to make the situation right. I would recommend and will use Capps for any future roofing required.

Description of Work: We contracted Capps Roofing to repair a leaky roof in two different spots on our roof in July of 2014. They addressed the issues and installed the needed items to take care of the problem. I thought their expertise & professionalism was very good, their bid was very competitive and they got the repairs done in the time period they said they would....and their is work was warrantied. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Capps replaced my existing Asphalt Shingle Roof. The entire project went well from start to finish. The contractor performed their work in a timely and professional manner. Cleanup was a non issue. Several punch list items were identified at the end of the project and were resolved to my satisfaction immediately. I would highly recommend Capps Roofing Inc if your looking to have roof work performed.
