We bought our home five years ago and there was a discrepancy in the age of the roof between the county records and the seller disclosure papers. We were concerned that our roof needed replacing even through it looked fine to us. Blake came out to give us a quote on a new roof and after spending some time looking at the roof informed us that as much as he would like to sell us a new roof, our roof was fine and looked no more than 5 to 8 years old. He is honest and very professional and I will hire him when we need a new roof.

There quote was much higher than the winning bid, even after clarifying the work to be done was in fact the same, and re-scoped to make sure all companies quoting were looking at the same thing. They were very quick to respond, and were very prompt, I was happy with their professionalism.

Mark Capp, a principal in the firm, came out to provide the initial inspection and estimate. After submitting the estimate, and executing the proposal, any question or concern we had was anwsered courteously and quickly. The work was done in a timely and efficient manner, to our complete satisfaction.

I was very pleased with the job from the bidding process to the completion of the work. In the bidding process, which was performed by one of the owners, the owners personal interest in me gave me confidence in his company. I further liked that there would be no hidden costs. What I signed up for was what I paid, ie., there would be no additional cost for lumber if any bad lumber was found when the roof was uncovered. Right after I awarded the job the owner called me with a concern. He unexpectedly could not get the shingles I wanted in the color I wanted for about 12 weeks due to the demand in tornado striken areas of the country. He solved the color problem so that the job could proceed, but it did require my going to a different company for the shingles and using an upgraded shingle which overall was $400 more expensive than the initial bid. This was all done right away in good faith up front so I had time to back out if I had elected to do so. The weather was difficult and did not cooperate, but the company worked around it well, and I was impressed by how they handled this. The workers were very professional and worked hard. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves. Prior to starting the job my signature needed to be notarized on a document and the owner sent one of his employees, who was a notary, to my residence to get the signature. Again this employee took a personal interest in me. The company had an excellent working relationship with the inspection agency.

They did a good job. I have had a couple of the other roofers come out in the last two or three years to repair the same problem, but they never re-collected it completely. However, it appeared that with the job that Capps Roofing Incorporated did that they recollected the problem and I was very satisfied with their service.

They were excellent. They cleaned up everything by themselves. There were nearly fifty people to do the job and they finished within two days. They did a fantastic job. I would rate them high overall. They didn’t offer me the least price when compared to others but I liked their attitude and everything about them. I was just impressed by them. I would use them again in the future if needed.

I am an architect so naturally I need to bid the work. I called three roofing contractors. two of them were listed on Angies list and the third was the original contractor when the house was built ten years ago. the original contractor took two weeks to respond and then with a contract proposal that was vague about the details of the work. another did not even respond. Capps called the same day, came to see the roof the same day. the rep went up on the roof to look at the job. the roof is three floors above ground so it was not an easy task requiring two extension ladders. it was an extremely hot day. the next day a work,an from the company came to make cores of the existing roof to determine the extent of the damage. in two days from the initial call the company sent me a contract proposal by email. we reached an agreement and the work started the next week. ittook two days to rip off the old roof down to the concrete slab and another full day to finish the roofing. the foreman told me that it usually takes only one day on average to re=roof and area the size of my roof. there no complaints from the company or request for extras for the time required. this is a first class company with first class workmen. I recommend them to anyone who is doubt and fearful of the usual roofing contractors. I am a professional with a great deal of experience in the building trades. I know how some contractors can prey on inexperienced home owners. Have no fear with Capps.

We had many loose tiles on our 2,000 sq. ft. house; six were broken and needed replacement, which we provided. Four workers, including Mark Capps, performed the task in approximately one hour. They were pleasant and professional and did a good job cleaning up after job was complete. They also placed screen caps on the open stacks, so we won't get any critters showing up in the toilets.... which is nice....

The service was professional from start to finish. I needed to go out of town and arranged for the them to do it while I was away since they did not need to enter the house to complete the job. When I returned, I had a new roof and no more leaks.

Went exactly as they said it would. Had the old roof removed and the new tar paper dried in 2 days. Shingle installation was done in 3 days. Roof looks great and have had no problems at all.

It went very smoothly, no problems with personnel, permits, or inspections. There was no wood contingency, no hidden costs.

Capps and Huff Roofing company did a superb job on our roof. The team was courteous, and meticulously neat. They worked from morning until evening, for 3 days, when the job was done. We are thrilled with the results! The new and old tiles blend seamlessly. This company is a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend Capps and Huff Roofing. They were one of the 3 or 4 people I called, but they never called back. I knew it was the week after Christmas and people were on vacation, but they never followed up with me. I ended up going with another company.

Called them for a repair of an old tile roof and they arrived promptly . They gave me an estimate which was I believed to be fair. I asked what a new shingle roof would cost and was given an estimate which was never deviated from and they began removal of the old roof the next day. They were well organized and cleaned up daily. In 3 days I had a new roof that I was very satisfied with at the price they originally estimated . They took off the 5% for angies list members which satisfied me even more. I dealt with both Mark and Blake Capps and was impressed by their professionalism. Their work crews were exemplary and hard working and I highly recommend them to others.For the amount of work and materials needed I felt that the price for this job was excellent.

Within 24 hours of contacting them, one of the owners came by and provided an estimate on 5/27/09. Repairs were made on 6/9/09. The original roof tiles were not reinstalled at that time so that we could have a few weeks during the rainy season to make sure the repairs were sufficient. All roof repairs were completed on 6/25/09 and a screen contractor completed the screen repairs on 7/1/09.
