Capps Roofing

I had concerns about my roof tiles, and needed help. After I called in I had one of the Capps come to my home, and spend about an hour going over my concerns. When we were done I got a good education, and good advice and tips how to take care of my roof. In the end I didn't need them at this time. I look forward to using them in the future, as I know they are not trying to do work that is not needed.

Capps Roofing, Inc. was amazing and I would highly recommend them. We had several small roof leaks and some water damage in the garage. Capps Roofing sent someone over immediately to assess the problem and to give a quote. We scheduled the work right away and it was fixed within a couple of days of the initial call. They were prompt and well priced. They were also very clean unlike other contractors who leave a mess around your house. You couldn't even tell they had repaired a roof...no debris left at all. Capps Roofing is simply the best, family owned and operated roofing company in the area.

They came out and looked around but never submitted a quote. I never heard from them again.

I received a lot of BS and they recommended another company whose office is 50 miles away from us. They just didn't want to do the job.

Mark stopped by and checked both items and said that everything looked fine. He did not charge me for the visit and also provided some advice regarding the roof and future maintenance. In the event I have future problems, I would not hesitate to call him. He friendly and professional and took the time to explain everything.

Excellent work performance on my small home. I certainly wasn't a high end money maker on my total re-roof after hurricane Irma. I was on a tight budget. I was kept well informed of procedures and timeline. All concerns were addressed and explained in detail. Extra details like re-installing my original matching fascia correctly and painting trim to match custom trim work were no problem for this company. I was treated like I was a sister or cousin getting work done...I wasn't just "another" customer.

Today was my final inspection...5 days shy of the one year anniversary of Irma. A 5 Star Rating is NOT enough for Capps Roofing. I first met Mark Capps in June as I was still battling with the insurance co. for funds...Mark explained everything to me in detail, answered all of my questions, trust me, there were lots. He treated me like I was a family member rather than a client. I am a single mom of three and immediately felt comfortable with Capps Roofing, even though I was getting estimates from other companies. Capps answered my call immediately, scheduled my estimate immediately, texted me a correct roof dimension within hours and sent the estimate within days...I needed a complete roof replacement, I was concerned that a larger, reputable company just couldn't be bothered with my roof. I was proven wrong on every level. From the time I got the phone call that they could begin work to the very end, I had constant contact via phone or text with the OWNER of the company, Blake (Mr. Capps). Sure, there was a site supervisor, but Mr. Capps was never too busy to answer all of my questions. EVERY SINGLE ONE. Every single person that came to my home was diligent, kind, respectful, polite, hardworking, and went over and above what I ever considered from a company. They were always willing to come to me to drop off a sample or to address a concern. My roof was completed within days and exceeded my expectations. I couldn't recommend Capps Roofing enough...10 Star Rating and Solid Gold!

They were excellent throughout including arranging some extra documentation for structural capability of the existing roof given the concrete tiles were heavier than the present roof on the house. Capps was punctual, sent full crews for each phase of the work and also responded to an issue on Saturday afternoon by sending a man to fix it within an hour. They were always p[professional, available and did excellent work. I was a contractor and am now a licensed Professional Engineer and always felt they performed high quality work. I would definitely recommend them.

CAPPS ROOFING owners and employees are pros from the word go...they were the only company that noted hail damage and suggested we call our insurance company, which we did and saved thousands of dollars. They pulled all required permits, started the job on Sat 8/4 and finished on Wed 8/8. The crews and subcontractors were all professional, knowledgeable, and skilled craftsmen, paying close attention to every detail. Needless to say we were very impressed with every aspect of the job including the clean up...they picked up every speck of waste in the area. We highly recommend CAPPS ROOFING...they did a fabulous job and made it a pleasant experience.

Quick response to my initial inquiry however it was only someone taking more info from me and said a roofer would call me back to schedule. Never heard from them again. Even called back and got the same thing, someone will call you back. Never had such a problem spending money.

I have a hearing issue so I communicate electronically. I emailed Capps 11 days ago and have received no reply. I also messaged via Angies List 8 days ago with no reply. If Capps is too busy for a small job, it would have been professional to let me know.

Woody Guin came to check on my roof, for molds & leakage, and he was honest enough to tell me that the problem was condensation around the skylight and needs insulation to resolve the issue, and he didn't charge me for the service. I had some companies that came & checked on the same roof and they were trying to sell me a new skylight for about $10,000.00. This companies wants money upfront and they didn't know when they can do it, they couldn't give a schedule for the job.

I called and next day received a call back. I gave all information of address, kind of work I needed done, etc. I was told someone would either be contacting me or come by after the weekend. Never heard from them again. A week or two later I called again, left message again. Never heard from them again. End of story.

This project went very well. It's always refreshing to find a professional, who hires craftsmen, who do a great job, and take pride in their work. My re-roof went off without a hitch and Capps left my property in immaculate condition. I would highly recommend Capps Roofing.

I have called on two different occasions and left messages got called back a day or two later . Then told that a estimator would contact me and come out. Which both times I never was called or did any body show up.. I’ve never had to work so hard in my life to spend $10,000

Blake called shortly after we sent in our confirmation of his quote to arrange a start date. They showed up on the date we agreed on and went to work. They had 6-7 guys working on it and were done in a few days counting waiting for the inspection. We had one hard rain since then and had no leaks.

Capps was a great company! They went above and beyond. We liked that they gave one price even if they had to replace boards. They were efficient cleaned up every day. Would highly recommend Capps for your roofing needs

Here is a review giving both the good and the not so good. I would absolutely use them again. They do very nice work. I already plan on using them for a second roof that needs replacing. The Pros: they are extremely quick when they start the roof. They had my old roof torn off and new roof up with skylights and secondary water barrier within 3.5 days. They agreed to final payment once permit was closed and I was easily given a release of labor/materials lien. When there was a mistake made (I wanted hardiplank fascia they replaced it with regular wood) there was no way to replace it without removing the roof which would have been ridiculous. They instead have me a very generous offer and took off a sizeable portion of the cost. I was happy. When it looked like the roof I ordered wasn’t going to come in on time they offered to upgrade me to the next model without any additional cost to myself. The Not so Good: five roofing nails were left in my driveway that I found. There was tar on my new garage door (they did come and remove it when I called them) Some of my plants were squished but fortunately I was planning on removing them anyways so in the end it didn’t matter. Getting a hold of someone is not always the easiest and sometimes took two phone calls. Communication is probably the biggest not so good but when there were issues they were very responsive
