This man is "not legit". The cost of the project more than doubled due to Perkins' costly mistakes, his carelessness and lack of sobriety. He installed the windows himself, putting in the wrong style, which the condo association would not tolerate, so they had to be replaced for a second time at my expense. Not one of the windows operates properly - some open only between 2 to 4 inches, and some are loose and wiggle in the frame. They can't be fixed. The blinds wouldn't fit in the casing of the new windows. He closed the blinds thinking I wouldn't notice them laying on the outside of the opening. When I told him that he had to replace the blinds because he damaged them by cutting the header to make that top part fit, he became verbally abusive and tried to bully me into changing my mind. I had to replace all the carpets - he ruined the Berber carpet by wiping his wet, muddy boots on the carpet, and when my tenant said something about it, Perkins said, "It's okay, we will have it cleaned." Professionals cleaned the carpet twice and didn't begin to remove the black stained areas. There were large spills of paint in the carpet, not just a few splatters. The master bath is the one room where nothing was scheduled to be done. Perkins told his helper tear down the custom wall paper ... luckily I arrived before half of it was torn down, and I was able to repair most of it, which took me days. Perkins seriously damaged furniture. Brennan Perkins is incompetent at best, and a crook. His business has no assets so I am not able to collect damages by a law suit.
