They did a wonderful job. They arrived promptly every morning at 7:30am and were always courteous and polite. I was really impressed with how neatly they work. They never left any garbage lying around.

The three men did a fantastic job. I have got nothing but compliments. Even a roofer I had over doing a roof repair on another part of the house said they did a professional job on the covered roof portion of the porch and tied it into existing roof very nice. They used 6x6 for posts and 2x6 for decking all treated lumber. Would not hesitate to use them for my back porch in future and other jobs that come up.

I called on April 16th and told them I was looking to install a four board fence at the entrance of my driveway and hang a gate. Set up appt with Woody to come out saturday and give an estimate. He showed up Saturday, was very friendly, took measurements and got specifics. Said he would call on Monday with an estmate. (April 19th) No call on Monday (April 21) I called him on Thursday (April 24th) and he told me he would call me back on Friday. I called him back on Friday and told him I had actually wanted to add a 4 board fence along one side of my driveway. Woody set up an appointment to meet me on Friday to redo the measurements. He showed up, was on time, was friendly, took measurements and got specifics and told me he's call me Monday. No call Monday (April 28) I called him Tuesday (May 6th) and he told me he'd call me back on Friday No call Friday (May 9th) I called again 2 weeks later (May 19th) and he told me he'd call me Friday. No call Friday (May 23rd) Called 2 more times, then called the main office and left a voicemail telling them that I had been trying to get a estimate for 2 months and that I had spoken with Woody no less than 8 times (all of which were calls i made to him) and that i wanted soomeone else to call me. No one to date has returned my call. ----------------------------- SIDE NOTE: I called Carlisleand Sons LLC, he came out that day (Friday June 6th), gave a written estimate, had supplies delivered Tuesday and started working Thursday and finished up Friday. In addition I had him add on some deck boards to my deck to integrate it with my house and ended up spending $3,500.00.

These guys are great. Woody does all the sales and paperwork and his son Troy and guys do the hard work. They are very professional. They work hard and don't take shortcuts. Very high quality work. If you want a fence these are the guys. Apparently they also do decks and wooden structures which I'm sure are also high standard. We just needed to keep the wild hogs out of our property so a basic wire fence is all we needed and it worked. I saw pictures of other fences they have done and they were beautiful. Any size large or small.

I took a verbal recommendation to use Troy's Fencing. Woody (Troy's dad) came to my property and took the measurements. He supplied me with the estimate to complete the job. He also showed me a portfolio of other jobs they had completed, including horse barns, deck and porches, which was very impressive. I paid for the fencing up front which was promptly delivered. I also paid a partial payment on the labor. This job was only to complete a section of the fencing after being ripped off by another fence company. I then hired them to complete the remaining area to be fenced which again the fencing was promptly delivered. This section included having to clear a very wooded section. When they clear a fence line for you they don't just take a chainsaw and cut a path, they remove the brush, trees, old fencing, ect... completely out of the way so you do not have to worry about it sprouting back up or tripping on stumps. They have all of the proper equipment to see their jobs are as professionally done as possible. I gave them keys to come and go as they pleased because I found them to be so reliable and trusting. After all of the fencing was complete I hired them to clear all of the remaining brush on the property. I also had them repair the new fencing that was already there that had been botched. Not one time did they not show up to work and they worked hard and steady until the jobs were completed. Troy also helped me with little things that he was not being paid to do that I was working on. I was not asked for any further money until the jobs were completely done. Troy's Fencing is the most honest, competent and reliable company out there. I plan on using them in the future for building porches and anything else they can do. These are the kind of people that you could give the keys to your house to and leave with no worry.

They are not fancy or anything, but they just do excellent work. They are awesome. They are independent, but they have their own company. They did all the stuff down on my river house; I didn't want it to all be fancy. It's a combination of new and old; it just absolutely looks fabulous. Mr. Troy is the son and Mr. Woody is the dad. They are excellent. I have not had anybody that I have called ever for a specific thing that I have done down here that was any less expensive than them. They are the best in the category of the things they do. I wouldn't think of doing something down on my river house or here without him.

The company was responsive in setting up an appointment to give a quote for some horse fencing and a pole barn, but later had to change it due to a changing need at another job site. Not a problem, it happens. When Troy's father came to give a quote, he spent a lot of time reviewing what I wanted/needed and different options. His note taking seemed sketchy, but I thought we were on the same page. I very clearly asked (repeatedly) to have the quote itemized so that if I had to make decisions on what I could afford, I could easily weigh the cost of each item and decide. After a couple of weeks delay in getting an actual quote, Troy email it, which was basically two lines (one for fencing and one for a pole barn) without any details to know whether we were thinking the same things were going to happen for the price quoted (details such as top board or not, electrical and solar panel or not, no-climb, field fence or four-board, etc.) When I emailed back saying this was not what I expected and wasn't sufficient to come to an agreement or so that I could manage costs, I got no response back from them. I thought people would be anxious for work given the current economy, but I did not feel like they were anxious to have my business or do a professional job in trying to win it. The father was nice and knowledgeable, but it did not translate into the outcome we'd discussed. I subsequently found two different businesses (one for fencing and one for the pole barn) and was happy with both.

They were very good. They do excellent quality work. They have good attention to detail. They were prompt, and they did what they said they would do. Their price was competitive.
