Fast and well. Brett started on Monday and was finished on Saturday. The place looks great and everything works. He was generally tidy, though I ended out having to scrub the bathtub after the floor cleaning. Had I hired individual tradespeople for each phase of the work the project would have taken much longer to complete and the cost would have doubled. I have given a relatively low mark for professionalism in the sense that Brett is an individual skilled tradesman who lost regular employment when the bottom fell out of the construction industry and has been supporting himself by advertizing on Craiglist. He doesn't have the trappings of 'professionalism', eg., an office, calling cards and a business name (though he is insured). He charges a flat $20/hr and is fine working without a contract. His manner, though polite and respectful, was not at all that of a salesman or someone who has worked with a marketing consultant. This is fine with me; it means low overhead and lower costs. I you need a multi-skilled tradesman for some building project, Brett's a good choice.
