I hired Westside Iron to do outside railings on my home in Miami Beach. I worked closely with Maria. She was knowledgeable, friendly, communicative and responsive. After doing several different construction projects on this home, I found Maria to be the absolute best contractor that we worked with. She always remembered my kids and wife and asked about them, kept me in the loop on the process and generally just made for a great overall experience with a real personal touch. When the time came to install the railings, they did not disappoint, the quality was of the highest caliber and the installation and inspections went without a hiccup. In a place like Miami where it's especially hard to find good reliable companies, Westside Iron is a rare find that takes great pride in performing the highest quality work. I would highly recommend them!

Responded to initial inquiry, and told me that she would have to review my needs and get back to me. The provider ignored further communication. Not professional, and seems to be a lousy businessperson.

I have many positives to share about my experience including a prompt estimate from Maria and a price that was more reasonable than others. The install was very difficult because I had fragile thin porcelain tile on the balcony, but they did not even crack a single piece. Even my hurricane shutter installer commented that they did a good installation. All in all it was an easy process and I am grateful.

We used Westside Iron recently for some powder coated aluminum handrail on a house in Miami Springs, that needed to match adjacent decorative wrought iron railing. Maria was prompt to respond, and had good suggestions when she came out for a site visit. The project was completed with a quick turnaround and the fabrication and installation guys did quality work. You get good bang for your buck with Westside Iron.

Before moving into my new home it was clear that the existing wooden stair railing with spindles had to go. We wanted to turn up the elegant factor of the living space a bit. I searched the internet for local ironworks places and got rough quotes over the phone for designs I saw on their website. I needed approx. 30 ft. worth of railing and some of the quotes I received were astromonical! Upon speaking to Maria from Westside Iron I was finally assured that I was going to get my wrought iron railing. Her prices were so much lower than some of the ridiculous quotes I had received. She gave me the name of a client who was about to have installed the same design I was looking at. This man raved about the care and attention he was receiving from Westside Iron. Needless to say, I decided to use their services. I was told a turnaround time of only 3 weeks (instead of 8 weeks for some). Meanwhile, I found a gorgeous design on the internet that I asked if they could copy (with some modifications). This was no problem for them as the head ironworks man who made the railing is a true artist. Everything went according to plan and there was much attention to detail. I went 2 times to their atelier to survey the progress - making sure the thickness of the iron was how Iiked and the check the design. Perfect! This beautiful railing is the absolute highlight of my home. You cannot go wrong! It was a pleasure working with Maria who is the owner and used to be an employee there for many years some time ago. I plan on installing an outside fence and will not think twice about calling upon them. .
