Description of Work: Prestige installed 6 hurricane resistant windows for us in February. The sales person, Chris, was prompt, clear in his presentation and in answering our questions. Their proposal came promptly and they gave us a good price, compared to other estimates. The permitting and ordering of the windows went quickly, and they scheduled and finished the installation as soon as the windows arrived. The installers did a good job, were punctual, and were careful with our house and belongings, cleaning up the small amount of debris that was unavoidable. They even cleaned the windows and removed the stickers, no small job! We highly recommend Prestige and would hire them again.

Description of Work: Spoke to Kevin Kapra who asked for extensive details before giving me a price of almost $3000 to replace a double front door. That did not include the cost of the doors. The company seems more intent on building a data base. Very expensive. Mr Kapra is not the best advertisement for the firm. I determined it best not to do business with or recommend this firm.

Description of Work: We firted the entire house with hurricane impact windows and doors. Chris was a great, helpful and responsive representative. He came to the house prepared and with samples of their products. He was very patient with design consultations and changes to our plans. His service was far superior to that of representatives of other companies we met with. | |The installation crew was great l. Very punctual and courteous. This was a hard job. |Our only complaint was that some of the woodwork in very visible places was substandard and the windows were very dirty and required a significant amount of time to scrape off silicone and wash. | |All in all this was a good experience and we would highly recommend the company.

In response to your review, I would like to state the facts. We have no contract with you, nor have you given us a deposit. When you initially called us 3 weeks ago for the first time, you told us our company has a contract with you and took your deposit. I responded to you that if this was the case, I would get you your money back or order your windows. When we investigated your claim, we found that you signed a contract with another company that has a similar name to ours. It so happens that a previous employee of ours works for this same company. He has not worked for our company since November of last year. We cannot control people opening companies with similar names. We did speak to the owner of that company and he stated that he would forward us the deposit that was taken from you so we may order your windows. As I stated previously, I cannot order windows without a deposit. This never occurred and we never received your deposit. I have never told you that I did not want to do your job until you started putting false and derogatory postings on the internet about our company. We have been contacted by the police regarding your matter and will continue to work with them in assisting in getting you your deposit back. In the meantime, please cease from posting false and derogatory comments about our company on the internet. Thank you and we are confident your matter will be resolved.

I have been an eco-friendly girl for as long as I can remember. I am always looking for ways to do my part and if I can save some money as well, that's a bonus. I had heard about Prestige Solar and seen their advertisement in the local breakfast diner so I gave them a call. I was given an estimate and they offered great financing, so I took advantage and had the solar water heater installed in my home. The panels are bigger than I imagined on the roof, but its a way for the neighbors to ask what they are. I am glad to be helping out the environment and am getting a savings on my electric bill. I was able to lower my tax payment this year as well. The company was very nice and the owner personally came out to make sure the installation was done well. The girls in the office were very helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this company and hope everyone in South Florida gets a solar water heater like they do in Israel.

The owner Robert Scavuzzo was very gracious on the phone but his crew was "catch as, catch can." They did considersable damage to my walls because a few of the workers were unskilled. They were not timely and several windows and doors had to be redone because of sub-standard installation. My over all experience was unfavorable and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The installers arrived on time. They were very kind to my dogs and cautious to assure they would not be let out. They were extremely talented of the job. Their work performance, honesty and responsiveness to my needs were very much appreciated. The cost is for the labor only as I purchased the special order windows and French doors from a different company. They were able to work around the problems around my home without complaint. The men offered me friendly suggestions to cope with other construction problems as I was completing a major remodeling project.
Description of Work: I have a 7000 square home. The company removed all of the old French doors and windows. Then, the company installed twenty sets of custom French doors and fifty custom made windows in their place. They disposed of half of the windows. The remaining other half of the windows and all of the French doors were a donation to the Habitat for Humanity.
