It went great-it took a while to get done, but that was understandable, since we were all recovering from Hurricane Irma. The quality of the shutters is excellent, and Jorge was great to work with.

They were great from the get go. Jorge was on time for the measurement appointment. He promptly provided an estimate in writing. They had the best price of the 3 companies I compared. I ended up waiting a few months to move forward with the project because of my own delays. I emailed them when I was ready and they honored the price even though several months had passed. They took care of the permit. Installation was a breeze. They passed inspection and closed the permit. I am very happy with the service and product. I have 8 windows, 2 french doors, and a side door. It's great to work with a company that actually does what they say they will do. I highly recommend them.

Jorge the owner responded fast to my call regarding an estimate to install 15 hurricane impact windows all around the house along with 2 doors. The required measurements were done and after doing background checks on all the companies that responded for an estimate I felt comfortable with Miami Dade Shutters. The measurements were sent to the manufacturer for fabrication and a permit was pulled. As soon as the windows were made the old 1969 style windows were knocked out and taken away. The new windows were quickly installed and the County inspection went perfect with no problem.

I was very apprehensive about going with the lowest quote for aluminum hurricane shutters that were up to code because I wanted to make absolutely sure that I was able to qualify for my hurricane readiness discount on my insurace. Miami Dade Shutters assured me that their shutters were up to code and that they were stamped with all the information that was required. They delivered the shutters on a Saturday, so I didnt have to take off work. They were very polite and gave me all the documentation to go along with the shutters to turn in to my insurance agent. They were the lowest price for the shutters and I would recommend them to anyone looking for shutters in the Miami-Dade area!!!
