I cannot speak highly enough of owner Armando Colon and his crew. I live in a two story house in Weston FL and had accordion shutters installed throughout the house, the garage door was replaced with a new hurricane / impact approved door and my outdoor patio in the back was re-screened. Armando was a one stop shop that handled all facets of the project. I originally had 5 different contractors come over to give me quotes. Not only were Armando's prices competitive, but of all 5 of them he had the best customs solutions for unique challenges that my house presented. Complete customer satisfaction is everything to him. His crew were all specialists in their various areas (shutter intallation, garage door installation and patio screen repair). They were all very experienced, worked efficiently and knew what they were doing. I now have Armando working on another property that i rent out. In addition to my residence I will be using him on 3 other properties that I own. No further need to get other quotes or consider anyone else!

Installation was quick and efficiently done. The only issue that we weren't too happy about was that we ordered the shutters in mid-November (Nov. 14, 2016), and were told that due to the Thanksgiving holiday and subsequent Christmas holidays, that the required permit would take longer than usual. The shutters were finally installed Tuesday, January 24, 2017.

The Home owners association took about a month to give me the approval letter, then Miami Dade County another 2 weeks, then they installed the Shutters in 3 hours, and finally 2 more weeks for the inspection. It all went well. They did a good job. Armando is a serious and responsable person.

Armando offered an alternative and offered to help me later if needed. He was fantastic and put me on track for what I needed without his services.

The incident with the awning I had so much trouble the guy came and he brought a man and they charged me a hundred dollars for the other guy's opinion and I had to pay it up front and I did and then they didn't speak really good English I called back and the owner himself came out and like I said he had to bring an expert and some how they bent the arm of the awning and now I have to replace the arms, I didn't now what to do about it so I let it go, so I still haven't fix the awning and the arms are bent now, so now I have a major job of replacing stuff. You have to explain that wasn't mad at anybody I just felt that I didn't make a good decision in getting this guy he was just no good.

Armando was our contact person, we were going to have our house windstorm protected and we were asking quotes for replacement of 3 sliding glass doors and a garage door. Armando gave us a better ( economically and operationally ) option by offering an accordion shutter in the patio instead. From the time the contact was signed to the time that the work passed inspection, the whole process took about 2 months. The garage door work was subcontracted to another company which removed and replaced my garage

Picked AC Shutters from Angie's List. Fine work. Really liked the owner. Just had to follow-up many times. Small job. Most pricey - but the only one I could find that would do with a permit in Coral Gables.

The work was done on time, and no hisdden charges. The materials are high quality.

The provider, Victor patched up a wall on the exterior of my home where I had an old AC unit removed. I had had another contractor do the work but this person did not do a professional job. So Victor came through and repaired the mistakes the previous contractor made and finished the work. I was pleased with how quickly they responded to my request.

I got three estimates and he was the lowest. He did a great job and everything was neat and cleaned up when he was done. I would use him again as well.

Armando was very kind, polite, with a great demeanor. He went above and beyond at our meeting. We ran into some questionable issues with permitting with our house, which was never confirmed. After a couple of attempts to verify wether the issues were legitimate or not, my calls were not returned. We wasted some time moving forward with the project. Ended up going with another contractor. It was unfortunate that things did not work out as I was very happy with Armando, and wanted him to do the work. Regardless of the fact that I did not hear from him again, I believe that he does do good reliable work and would definitely recommend him based on his genuine good persona.

I completely wasted my time with this provider. After chasing him down for an estimate and sending pictures, etc. he never had the decency to call or text me back with an estimate even when I contacted him! So frustrating and a waste of my time.

I was very careful with this purchase, as I wanted to get a quality installation for my home not just to qualify for the discount but to protect my investment for years to come. I would have no hesitation recommending A/C shutters for the job. Although the job took longer to finish than I wanted it to (about 8 weeks in total), the quality of the install and the pride with which Armando delivers his shutters and installation are obvious. At the end of the job, Armando took a long time to teach me how to properly operate and maintain my shutters. No surprises, and I am extremely satisfied with the product and interaction with the company.

The process was quick and fair. They measured, manufactured, and installed the shutters in a reasonable period of time. All of my interactions were professional even with the installers. I would highly recommend A/C Shutters. In fact other family members are now using them.
