Description of Work: Armando Colon of A C Shutters and Awnings provided an excellent product and wonderful service. We contracted for the awning in August but waited until hurricane season ended before installing it on our carport. Armando was very agreeable to this arrangement and punctual when we requested installation. Armando is extremely personable and provides a very good service and product.

Description of Work: Excellent service and quality product. Armando took the time to measure and evaluate our shutter needs. Where it made sense to keep the old panel shutter due to the window design he advised us. The work was done well and he spaced the payments in line with work completion. When final he came out and showed my wife and I how to close and maintain the shutters. I highly recommend

Description of Work: I have to comment on this,because Armando is so deeply committed to Customer Service! I had hurricane accordion shutters installed by AC Shutters in June 2010. It was an entire house project. That whole experience was memorable. But here is the amazing part: We are presently having the house painted and I decided to take off decorative wood trim that's been there for 40 years. After I took it down, the two front window shutters looked awkward, as they originally needed to be butted against the wood trim and yet pass Miami-Dade's strict building code. I called Armando and asked if he could drop by and re-install these two shutters. He asked me to call him early the next morning to make sure the installer picked up the Aluminum pieces he would need. When I called, he told me that someone would come by that afternoon. Armando called at 4 to tell me the installer was on his way. Ramon came all the way from Homestead FL, took the shutters down, repositioned and re-installed them. I asked him for the bill, and he told me there was NO CHARGE!!!! Startled, I called Armando to make sure, and gratefully gave Ramon a generous tip!!!!!! Description of Work: I had very good experience with this company. I first found the company in the Angie's list according to the members' reviews. I called them and the owner came to my house quickly and gave me an estimate for the hurricane shutter for my front door ($750). I signed a contract with them. One week later, they came on time (9 am on Oct 15) and installed the shutter. It was great!
