Description of Work: Take notice that this company has changed its name from DMJ to DMT. They were caught opearating without proper licenses under the DMJ name, which we were unaware of until after the fact.We purchased an entirely new kitchen...new cabinets, new countertops, new backspashes. We contacted several area vendors for estimates, and this company undoubtedly had the best prices. Once the new cabinets and countertops had been installed, we noticed one area where they failed to seal the back of one of the countertops where it butted up to a pass-thru window. It took over 2 months for them to return and make the necessary repair...using my material. There are cheap/flimsy hinges on 7 of the cabinet doors which result in the doors wobbling unecessarily. I've complained about this several times, and the owner has promised to replace them, but he never shows up when he says. He never returns his calls or keeps his appointments. The backspashes were all cut crookedly without using proper equipment, and this resulted in cheap looking molding being put around the cabinets where the backspashes met. The owner and a couple of his employees are extremely disrespectful and unappreciative of their customers....once they have your money. I had even recommended this company to a friend/neighbor after getting their estimate and veiwing another job they had done. They didn't even appreciate that. Just beware if you use this company go over everything with a fine tooth comb and make absolutely certain EVERYTHING is one hundred percent to your liking BEFORE you pay them in full, because the likelihood is they won't be back when you find a problem later.I truly wish I had gone with one of the other vendors and spent a little more to avoid the anger and frustration this has caused. The owner of this company is totally unprofessional and disrespectful.

During the flooring installation, we were overjoyed by the diligence and care the team used when installing our new flooring and the baseboards. The same can be said for the cabinet and countertop installations. All of the items they removed (microwave, plumbing, electrical outlets) were reinstalled and replaced as part of the installation. While replacing furniture, they worked with us to ensure we were happy. We were not happy with the solution they provided for the under-counter kitchen trash container so we returned it (and have yet to learn whether we'll get $ back) and installed one we purchased at Lowe's. The solution that DMJ provided was two smaller wooden containers with a wooden cover that slid on a track. They didn't slide very well and were smaller than we cared for and were much heavier than we expected. We replaced this with a simple 30-qt plastic container on a wire-rack that slid on smoother rails. Upon completion, we have provided DMJ with a list of items that must be repaired. Two are flawed or scratched drawer fronts and we are awaiting these. They also have to complete work on two thresholds and we question if two other thresholds will be durable enough to last. The countertop installation was as nicely done as any others that we have seen (this is the 3rd solid-surface counter we've done in 3 houses). Overall, this was a great value! We got the flooring and kitchen done for what another company was going to charge us for just the kitchen work, and they told us we had to do our own plumbing and electricity.
Description of Work: DMJ removed carpeting, linoleum flooring, and baseboard trim in our great room, kitchen, office (4th BR), and two halls. They then installed solid bamboo flooring in the same rooms, installed new kitchen cabinets, new kitchen countertop, and new 6" baseboards in all rooms where applicable. During the work, DMJ moved furniture as needed and disconnected plumbing and electricity as needed. Once the work was completed, they reconnected plumbing and electrical outlets and worked with us to replace furniture.
