+ -1 moreThey showed up when they promised and worked 3 long hard days removing the fallen debris, massive tree and stump. There was a mishap with a branch breaking off & punching through our road, impacting the water main. Whole 9 yards assumed all responsibility and took care of the problem with our utility company. I have the feeling that the poor crew made no money that day, due to the expense of the broken pipe, but I was extremely happy they had all the proper insurance to handle the mess. I had to work during the hours the tree crew was here, but my husband said they were completely professional and experienced. We would definitely recommend this company to others in need of their service.
Description of Work: We used The Whole 9 Yards last November to take care of a dangerous fallen tree. I just realized I had never reviewed their service, so here it is...better late than never. We had half of our large oak tree fall in our yard covering the driveway. This was a few days before Thanksgiving, and we were expecting family & friends from out of town. Due to the tree debris, we had no place for anyone to park and could not get one vehicle out of the carport. Our neighbors all pitched in cutting and removing wood to make room for our guests to get us over the holiday weekend. We still had half of a 100 ft, top heavy, leaning hazard tree hanging over the road. We needed someone immediately to remove the large limbs and cut down the rest of the tree. We found Whole 9 Yards through Angie's list and hired them based on their price. We got estimates from 4 companies and Whole 9 Yards was several hundreds lower. We felt it was a mistake, and when they realized their estimate was too low for the work involved, we negotiated a new price that both parties were satisfied with. They did not "hold us over a barrel" knowing how desperate we were to have the work done quickly.

+ 0 moreMr. Ray Taylor owns and operates Whole Nine Yards (W9Y) NE Florida's next big tree / landscaping company. If want someone who will be on time, completed right the first time, at a competitive price with high-end equipment and a very professional team, W9Y is your company! Ray does not give you a quote by phone, he will actually walk the length of the property needing attention and while on-site provide you an "on the spot" quote. W9Y is very busy, so expect to wait one - three week, depending on the size of the project and if they are able to do two jobs nearby. Do not let Ray's age fool you he is mature beyond his years and his youth works to your advantage as he and his work as friends. There is NO hollering because everyone their assignment and gets it done. You can tell who is charge, Ray is a great leader. Tree work is often seen as "low skilled" work. However, W9Y operates as a professional, licensed and insured team. They approach their tasks quickly and efficiently. They know it can be loud so they use quality tools and get in and get out quick and safely. I hired W9Y team back to complete some additional work, which was again handled quick and completely. I was so impressed with the first job, I did not bother getting quotes from other companies...yes they are that good!
Description of Work: Trimmed and/or removed dozens of trees on previously neglected +1 acre lot. They removed everything they cut, most of which was run through wood chipper. Work completed as agreed.
