Steve Page (owner) called me back and was very honest with me and told me because of my flat roof, his method / process was not going to work. He answered all my questions and even suggested another company to call that can service my needs. I do appreciate that. Thank you Steve for your honesty. Description of Work: They treated a large set of wood cabinets in our walk-in closet that was infested with termites. They used a non-chemical, electrical-shock technique that seems to have taken care of the problem, as 7 months have elapsed since the treatment and there has been no further evidence of the problem. Two technicians worked on this for about 3 hours and revisited a couple of months later. I was quite pleased with the experience, but feel that the cost was rather high.

The young lady whom answered said the schedule for estimate and visit would be 2 weeks from the day I called due to booked schedules for all techs since it is the height of termite season and I had pest problem. I said that was fine and I would like to secure quarterly visits at the $100 per visit charge and that it would be great if they could be out sooner. She advised me that she would check on schedule and call me back within the hour. 4 days later I am still waiting to hear back from them. Business must be great!

Description of Work: I recently used Alternative Termite Management for termite control.

Description of Work: I live in a condo and discovered termites in the doorframe of my bedroom bathroom. The frame abutts an outer, cement wall of the condo building, but is adjacent with the inner bedroom wall, which was potentially at risk. I spoke with the main office and scheduled a consultation. They sent out a gentleman named Eric who inspected my entire condo. After the consultation, Eric gave me this estimate: 1. Treat the doorframe w/chemical via inserting into termite holes, seal, then electrically shock the doorframe (effectively killing the termites immediately) 2. drill small pinholes into the adjacent wall and insert scope to view inner wall and discover whether the termites have migrated, treat if needed. 3. Douse the untreated wood in my HVAC closet with a special chemical to prevent termites. 4. Followup 3 months later and treat if termites are still seen in same location at no additional charge. After I agreed to the above estimate a crew came out 2 weeks later and did the work (today). It took about an hour and a half.

He explained in detail how the treatment would be done, areas that would be affected and type of chemicals that would be used. He also advised that any wood replaced during my on-going renovations would be treated by ATM, at no additional charge, for additional protection.

Description of Work: I called ATM last year, because I wanted an alternative to tenting my house for termites. My prior tenting experience with another local company was a nightmare. ATM provided safe, non-toxic alternative products applied as spot treatments to obviously infested areas of the house.
